  1. I agree with you on the point of them understanding each other. If anything, Kaladin notices this internally when he realizes that her life was not as easy as he thought it was originally. If anything, Shallan's struggle is more internal than Kaladin's (but you can debate this forever). Also, the fact that both of them are Radiants will probably add to it, and since "Oathbringer" is going to be Dalinar's book, I'm sure Adolin will receive some attention so this love triangle will have plenty of time to play out. I, for one, am hoping Adolin goes Darkside though, but that's just me XD R.I.P. Sadeas, he had it coming though.
  2. Okay, as I have said on previous posts, I am new to this series and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has expressed some of these ideas. That being said, I am 100% behind the love triangle between Kaladin, Shallan, and Adolin. I love the teasing that Brandon does for it especially with Kaladin starting to get weak at the knees around her after their stint in the chasms. I just kind of wanted to pick some brains on the subject. Sorry Adolin, but I'm on the side of Kaladin with this one. Let me know what you guys think. But I definitely think that this love triangle will have some more time in the sun especially with the slight hints that Brandon gave to them from both Kaladin's and Shallan's point of view.
  3. I also believe it was confirmed by Brandon that Jezrien is in TWoK, as well as some other Heralds (i.e. Shalash). So Jezrien has already been shown somewhere, even if it was just in the background and not meant to be noticed. Also, I agree that they were probably talking about Shalash, I need to reread the prologue because WoR is so long, I may have forgot the exact details of that scene but I can see what you are saying. I think the Heralds, with the exception of Talenel, are all not what the people of Roshar to expect them to be just off of what Kalak says to Jezrien about how they see them as divinities as well as how they abandoned their pact so they would go back to that "place". I apologize if I repeat any known theories, I'm new to the series.
  4. Wow, that's crazy fast. I know people who can eat through books like that but I just don't. But thanks for the warm welcome, I recently got back into my love for reading earlier this year, pretty much exclusively Fantasy so that's how I ended up with SA.
  5. Hi everyone, I'm a recent fan of Brandon's work and I fell in love instantly. I will likely pick up Mistborn next but I was absolutely enthralled by The Stormlight Archive. I tore through both "The Way of Kings" and "Words of Radiance" in about two months, which is REALLY fast for me. I thoroughly loved everything about the series and I quite frankly can't shut up about the books, and I'm feeling like I'm missing something with the wait for "Oathbringer" (doesn't mean I'm not patient, just an excited fan). Anyway, just a little about myself, I'm a huge fantasy nerd and I think I came to the right place for a new set of books to read. I'll probably be lurking on some Stormlight threads for now but like I said, Mistborn is next so I will be on there soon I'm sure too.
