I would go with Allriane. She had so much potential, and yet she has so few scenes ! I liked how she was first presented as a very stereotypical character, and then proved herself to be so much more. But yeah, I loved Goradel too. Not a big fan of Spook though.

What makes me facepalm the harder is actually reading this topic and realize all the things I've been missing... Like the Szeth thing >.< I also had quite a hard time figuring out powers in the cosmere were all related. I started my discovery of Sanderson through Mistborn, but I read it in french. When I realized how awesome it was, I started reading all other Sanderson's books, but in english this time. And the change in language was enough to confuse me for a very, very long time. I only realized the existence of the cosmere and the relations between the books by making research on the internet... I'm still quite shameful about it today, and quite lost too ^^'

Well if you really want to learn french, here is my first advice : never, EVER, believe an auto translate x) Let's start in english anyway, we'll see how it goes and then I'll see what I'll do. Hi there! As you can see, I am new around, and I'm looking for some mates to create a writing group with me! I am following Sanderson's classes on youtube and I'd like to try his advice to create a writing workshop. The thing is, I'm french and I only write in french, but I can totally read in english, so you can join if you write in english too! The idea would be to send each other pieces of work on a regular basis (like every two weeks or something) so that we can give advices to each other and do some constructive criticism. So I'm looking for people who would like to do this seriously. So you should consider joining if : -you want to write regularly and be read by different people so that you can use their advices and criticism to improve -you write in english or in french (I can also read spanish if by chance it happens that you are a spanish writer) -ideally, you can read french -you have some time to spend regularly (again, something like once every two weeks) on skype or any other device that would allow us to do group meetings in which we talk about each others' works. I wanna join ! I'm not really good at drawing (although I like to draw, the results are always, hem... interesting, but not what I expected) but I like to write ! The only problem is that I write in french... But please accept me anyway ? =3 I'm not doing a lot of Cosmere-related work though. The closer thing I have is this drawing of one of my roleplay character, a magical girl named Kirie Yume, whose costume was inspired by the mistcoats (there are ribbons floating all around her dress, basically). I have a colored version but I am way to lazy to scan it right now so just tell me if you'd like to see it ^^ (as I said, I am no good at drawing : if this one looks okay, it's because I used a model ^^ )

Hi everyone ! I'm Kaelya and I'm very pleased to meet you all. I'm a young adult from France and I discovered Sanderson a few years ago with the Mistborn trilogy. I read it, I liked it, and so I read a bit more... And now I'm merely done reading all there is to read, and waiting impatiently for the new books to come up (especially the Rithmatist, oh how I loved the Rithmatist...) So, what can I say about myself... I'm a lot into roleplay, and I did some mistborn roleplay. Right now I am mastering a campaign of Ryuutama : if you like roleplay and don't know it, look at it, it's really good ! I am also, obviously, pretty much into reading : mainly fantasy and heroic fantasy though. I also like to write, and one of the reasons I'm here is because I watched the videos of Sanderson's classes of creative writing (that's such a great course by the way, we don't have that or any equivalent in France !) and now I want to follow his advice and find myself a writing group, a workshop. So if any of you is interested (and speak french. Ideally is french too. Not that I am french-exclusive but, well, I write in french), please send me a pm ! Well, I think that sums it up.
