    Never thought about the bond being the reason. Moash had his eyes turning before the bond was complete. And they stopped a couple of days before the bond was actually complete. Never the less Kaladin would be 4th dahn just for owning the plate. Not sure about the kids if his eyes didn't change.

    I'd have to agree. Amaram would have killed everyone else anyways. It would have caused too many questions as to why he got only the shardblade and some lowly darkeyed got the plate. Also iirc the Shardplate would be enough to change his eyes, and as long as he married a lighteyed their children would most certainly be lighteyed. Heck even if he married a darkeyed they could still be lighteyed. Rosharian eye genetics are weird though, so there's no telling what nahn or dahn they'd turn out.

    I know that spren are the Shardblades, what I'm thinking is that they kinda of turn into God metal when they become Shardblades. Normally they have trouble physically interacting with the world. The oaths help that, but I don't see them suddenly shifting so far into the physical realm on their bond mates call.

    Just thought this out of nowhere. Personally I think it would explain a lot. It would explain why they're so heavily invested to start, and also partially explain how you can regrow Shardplate with just Stormlight. If it's Honor's metal than the Shardplate is just drawing on Stormlight and condensing it. Of course I might be wrong. Anyone know if there is a WoB on whether Stormlight is Honor's version of mist or if it's just natural to Roshar. There's also the part about some spren being connected to Cultivation soooo... Anyways tell me what you think.

    Nicrosil compounding- godlike investiture stores! Forgery- make a bunch of stamps in advance so I can change between other magic systems. Or maybe just gain all of them

    Nicrosil compounding. I could get so much investiture that I rewrite my sDNA. Or maybe just feruchemic duralumin and allomantic pewter. Instant girlfriend

    I think that mistings can burn their metal if it's off. So long as it's close enough to produce the effect.

    It's been canonized that time bubbles will move alongside a big enough object. Wayne's bubbles move with a train. I think they would be able to move with a space ship. Only problem might be make large enough, long lasting enough bubbles. They'd probably need insane amounts of bendalloy, nicrosil/duralumin to attemp this. Maybe the Allomancy grenades will help things along though.
