I think that the diamonds would grow back on your body but 1) you would have to have a strong connection with them and 2) the diamonds that were taken away will crumble to dust ( like a shardplate growing back) as they reappear on your body.

If i remember correctly, Dent (Vartredelees) was the better swordman.

I think transportation and gravitation will make you able to use the lashing on someone/thing you aren't touching. As for transportation and adhesion i think you'll be able to make objects stick together even though you aren't touching them Give me your thoughts about these ideas and i'll edit the post later

Hello everyone. In this topic we're going to talk about surges and their combinations with other surges. For exemple: the windrunners have the surges of gravitation and adhesion in order to use the three lashings: The first lashing: the basic lashing use the surge of gravitation The second one: the full lashing use adhesion And finally the third one: the reverse lashing is far more interesting than the others, indeed, i believe that it is the effect of the utilisation of both of the windrunner's surges. Let's get back on topic: in this topic we're going to try to guess the effects of combinations of all the surges (not only radiant combinations) I'll edit this post with a list of the combinations List of the effects of the combinations of surges: gravitation+adhesion= give an object a gravitational pull (see Arc arcanum SA, reverse lashing for more information) *(it's very likely that's wrong though i don't think so, the generally accepted effect is making people loyal to you)* transformation+transportation= ability to use soulcasting without touching target (see WoK, the scene with Jasnah, Shallan and random thugs for more information) illumination+transformation= make people (yourself included) change (I'm still not sure about this but it's possible)* Transportation+adhesion= make a portal stay so that other people can use it* transportation+gravitation= you can use a lashing on a target you aren't touching* * means we don't have absolute proof Don't hesitate to say if you think some of the guesses in the list are far-fetched. From what i understand, the heralds are tortured between desolations on a planed named braize ( they have to go there if they didn't die and they are sent there if they die). At the end of the last desolation they decided not to go there and leave taln alone in order not to suffer anymore. They foolishly hoped, thought it's more an excuse, that the oathpact wouldn't be broken with only taln suffering (perhaps they thought he wouldn't go mad (heralds have to go mad for desolations to start)) hope this helped

If a full feruchemist filled investiture in a nicrosil metalmind then tapped it while tapping age from an atiummetalmind then the feruchemist would gain more agelessness then the amount of the attribute he had filled in it. So as everyone knows, Hemalurgy lets one steal allomancy from (big surprise) an allomancer. Yet we also know that it's use repels the mists and makes one unable to use the power of the well of ascencion which are both spliners or slivers (not sure which one it is) of preservation, this makes me suppose that slivers or splinters of Preservation are repelled by Hemalurgy (strangely Preservation and Ruin are attracted by each other) so here comes my question (after 4 lines of useless spoilers for HOA): does the allomancy used by an user of Hemalurgy come from Preservation or from Ruin or even from another source?

The prophecies were changed by Ruin to fit Alendi and Vin the original ones didn't fit them.

Hello everyone here is what I'm going to ask you: pick 2 powers from magic systems in the cosmere, tell me which ones they are and explain why you picked them up.( it can be two powers from a same magic system( feruchemy pewter and gold for example) For me it's allomantic steel and feruchemic iron because in battle you can just fly around if you're a powerful enough allomancer and if someone tries to shoot you, you can change your weight and you can make yourself lighter to fall more slowly so that the shoot misses because you weren't where your opponent thought you were.

Hello everyone As you all remember in HOA, it ( sazed in the words of funding) is said that Vin was chosen by Ruin because she was mistborn, her mother insane and her sister a seeker but it was also said that there were other reasons unknown even to it/him. Is there a WOB about what are those reasons?

I admit that this was my third favorite scene with Szeth in it.
