Ok. You are being a little over sensitive there. Plenty to dislike about him, but he is not a homophobe. He also said her shooting at him is a sign of her love. He says funny, but completely ridiculous and obviously untrue statements. It's his thing. I am truly sorry if you have had to deal with hate, it's absolutely horrible and unspeakable and our country is finally turning around. Let's funnel our energy into "attacking" the work of the politicians and religious leaders whom actually harm people, not fictional characters.

The last three were absolutely the best, but I think that is RJs doing. Sanderson is absolutely my favorite author, but RJ spent half a dozen books setting up the most boring dominoes ever. Sanderson got to come along and knock them over, and did a fantastic job, but I imagine with RJs notes and already written sections, the vast majority of credit goes to Jordan.

I read it as the fire mothers and fathers were people who were super rare and worshipped, that could fill the metal minds. They are obviously completely responsible for the existence of their race, so probably plays into their worship of metal born.

It's nothing like GoT and nobody should expect that (that is at all familiar with the books). The Seeker was terrible, as it WAS more like GoT and was watered allllll down. The thing about WoT is that it COULD be a network show (content-wise). It could totally be on at 9 on Fox or something, or obviously something like A&E as it is WAY less graphic that Walking Dead in every way. No animation. I think they could do the "bullet time" weaving sometimes, more at the beginning of the series than than later on. Would be cool, but would get old and added expense to production. And I guess it wouldn't really show up much for a while, as the reader at least wasn't much aware of it for some time. Lots of speculation from people who have no idea what they are talking about (myself the king of that category)! Love it!

If it's animated I will literally boycott it. I will be the only idiot standing outside of some studio with a sign and shouting some catchy phrase. I was worried about that too, but I don't think the age thing will be that big of a deal. First off, the characters "age" way more than three years over those three years. Secondly, tv and movies are filled with 30 year olds playing high school and college students. I think casting a 25 year old to play Rand would be fine. He would play a 19-20 year old, and age into mid thirties while Rand ages to 22ish, but a HARD 22 lol.

Did you see they are launching a new Star Trek series? Never watched one before, but I might give it a try.

I did mean the Force Awakens, as a big Star Wars fan that is incredible embarrassing! I would have rather forgotten one of my kids' names! The plot was identical, which is fine, just underwhelming

Wayne is basically just Matt Cauthon. Wayne is to Matt as Force Awakens is to New Hope. Simple ripoff with the most minor of changes. Edit: I got the new Star Wars name wrong...humiliating.

I have looked EVERYWHERE, and I am sure this is an easy answer, so I look forward to hearing it What is the deal with no Mistborns in the new era? Did Sazed ban them or something? It's been years since I've read book 3, and it is packed away somewhere. Thanks!
