  1. I don't have time right now for RP or a long post, but I'm going to vote for Arinian. When there's a close vote like there was last night, it makes me suspicious that the person who had the second most votes was an elim and that other elims voted for the lynchee to save them. This, to me, puts a little suspicion on Alvron and Arinian. I know it's not a strong argument, but it's all I've got in my limited SE time.
  2. Rhea looked confused. "Isn't the Assassin's Guild named 'The Dark Brotherhood?'" she asked, trying to recall what she knew about them. "You are just making me more and more suspicious of you." The khajit can wait, Rhea thought. I would rather go after someone suspicious, like Innocent (Ecthelion) than someone who is just a product of his upbringing, like Fjord (Assassin in Burgundy).
  3. I started with some books on Dwemer culture, which supports the idea that our inventories are chosen only semi-randomly. If someone has a book on the Five Tenets, or other item that references them, that's a little suspicious in that light...
  4. Rhea woke up to a scream. She sighed as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. "Can't a lady get some sleep around here?" she muttered. Perhaps it wasn't wise what she did last night - staying up until nearly dawn to look for clues. She has promised herself she would only stay awake until she found one clue, and she would then work on it in the morning. But after hours and hours of futile searching, perhaps she should have given up earlier. Much earlier. She took her time getting out of bed and putting on clothes for the day. She wasn't likely to get back to sleep, so she might as well go see what all the fuss was about. As she entered the main hall, she was surprised to see the body. She had expected the scream to be someone accidentally hurting themselves, or maybe a fight between two guests. She paled and nearly fainted. She had never seen a body before, and... wait, what was that symbol stuck to the deceased's chest? The assassin's guild?! Was someone hired to murder the guests so they couldn't find the treasure? Perhaps it was one of the other guests, eliminating the competition with an assassin's guild contract? Rhea hurriedly stepped past the corpse to where other guests were milling about, likely also awakened by the scream. She turned to the small crowd. "It was probably one of those mangy Khajit," she said, sniffing in disdain. "You can't trust them, you know. They'd kill their own mother for a coin. I can't think of any other reason they'd be invited to join in festivities such as these. Perhaps the one called Fjord (Assassin in Burgundy)? Unless he has some kind of alibi?" She waited to see if anyone in the crowd would speak on his behalf, or if the Khajit would join them and speak in his own defense. Perhaps he would redirect the blame elsewhere. Regardless, this was an irritating development. She has been so looking forward to searching the house for clues again. She hadn't even made it to the third floor of the manor yet in her methodical sweep of the mansion.
  5. Sorry for being away for a few days - the weekends are usually really busy for me. Today looks quite cut and dry to me though, since I trust Wilson, but just to add to the rest of the votes: Haelbarde. Unless Wilson is playing us like Aman did in my last game, it looks like we will finally be able to find the heart of the house tonight. So, I guess it's back to exploring and hoping there were only six omens.
  6. Sign me up as Rhea, a Breton scholar obsessed with Dwemer technology and looking for funding for an expedition.
  7. Sorry, I haven't really been following this game, but I felt I should post. I went back and read last night again, and I'm now suspicious of the following people: Aonar: One of the people who added to the sudden bandwagon on Elenion (kinda the one who started it), and one of the people who knew about Wilson's role. Ecthelion: Seemed to be looking for scanners early on, and is going after Wilson pretty strongly. Unless Wilson is pulling a WGG, Wilson has a powerful village role and is a strong player. I personally don't think Wilson is pulling a WGG. DA: Had that weird post last night turn. He is known for being chaotic, but still... Araris: One of the people who added to the sudden bandwagon on Elenion (specifically, the one who broke the three-way tie), and he was one of the people who went after Daniyah yesterday. That's all I really have right now. My attention to this game is intermittent, so I probably missed a ton. I'll try to read up and see if I can add more.
  8. Btw, Aman, once when you posted your thoughts on things, you included a small snippet of abruptly cut off text at the end. I looked at that and was like, was that just copy/pasted from a doc? But then I never said anything, and kinda kept forgetting about it or giving you the benefit of the doubt. That was one of maaaany mistakes I made But I guess the lesson there is be careful when copy/pasting from elim docs and look at what you just pasted before hitting post.
  9. And that's exactly what I was thinking... Either DA is a scanner and scanned a random inactive (Nathan), which is unlikely, or, far more likely, DA is an elim trying to kill a teammate for being inactive. Either way, I'm pretty sure he's telling the truth about Nathan. So, if we still have a village vig out there somewhere, you now have two really solid targets. Let's find the Heart of the House, everyone! Wyrm - if a vig kills the first eliminator to die, can people who are Exploring find the Heart of the House on the same night turn?
  10. Are you claiming a scan role, or just guessing? Nathan isn't the only inactive never to post - why are you so sure about him being an eliminator?
  11. "Kills come before lynching" sounded pretty specific to me. That said, to me, that kills are processed before lynches are, so if someone died, their vote is canceled... That's how order of action generally goes. In reality, you meant "kills and lynches are simultaneous" or "kills come before lynching but don't cancel votes, so really they come at the same time as lynches" Ah well.
  12. Well, since kills go before votes, 3v3 means the elims are guaranteed to win. They just all vote for one person, and kill someone voting for the other person. So if ties don't end the game in this format, then the last turn is just a formality.
  13. Sudden last minute bandwagoning is rather suspicious... Were one or more elims trying to save Polking or PK? I mean, they didn't really need it, we were heading toward a tie. But regardless, I'm now suspicious of Aonar, Araris, Daniyah, and Arinian. Wilson, I'm not really suspicious of since her vote came first, pre-bandwagon.
  14. Sorry i haven't been active, my SE time has been going to MR18. I'm not caught up on old posts, but it seems the only votes today are for PK and Polking? I think that, since inactives are just as likely to become elims as non-inactives, killing inactives is a good thing. Both PK and Polking are being voted on for low/no activity, right?
  15. I'm a villager, just really, really bad at powerless Mafia apparently xD
  16. At this point, i've given up. Every read I've had all game has proven to be totally wrong. I'm just waiting for the reveal now. I'll laugh if Aman turns out to really be an elim. I don't really think it's the case, but I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
  17. Now that was unexpected... I guess either there are only two elims left, or ties don't end the game with an elim victory. In any case, i think it's clear that we're pretty screwed. None of my leads have turned out to be right. Well, killing Clanky seems to imply that they wanted to protect Assassin. So, Assassin? I dunno, I'm totally lost at this point =\ Feel free to kill me and end the game if you want, right now I really, really want to know who the elims are.
  18. Ah well, I tried. Good game, traitors xD I'm really looking forward to the reveal.
  19. So, if I'm second guessing my thoughts about Aman, I should instead vote for myself (EDIT: Or the person a voting bloc of potential elims is voting for) to keep the vote from fracturing? That doesn't make much sense... I was mentioning the person who was voting along with me at the time so they knew I changed my vote. EDIT: One final defense, @Amanuensis - If you are right and Wonko and I are the last two elims, then why didn't I support the vote on Assassin rather than trying to divert votes elsewhere? Heck, I could have just said nothing and not voted, and Assassin would probably have been lynched with just those three votes.
  20. If you are actually village, sorry for the sudden turn on you - I'm doubting all my gut reads right now, and last time that happened, it was the person who I thought was least likely an elim (Wilson in LG20). The fact that you aren't trying to vote in a bloc like others are makes me doubt you being an elim.
  21. Just keep in mind that there are likely 3 elims. If everyone is voting for me except me, you can be sure that some actual elims are participating in the vote.
  22. Okay, that definitely looks like a voting bloc now. Amanuensis, Doc @Wonko the Sane
