  1. Now you're holding a sword that has a dead body stuck to it, and other screaming people (and rocks, and plants, and animals, and carts) are also flying through the air right at you. If you're lucky, you'll kill one person before their body around your Shardblade prevents anyone else from being cut, even if they are attracted.

    But shardblades cut through bodies...

  2. Granted.

However, ever writing utensil that you use in your life will break as soon as you touch it.

(Unfortunately, you do not get past writing your name on the final and break several very nice pens.)

Edit: I wished to be soulforged to remove the bane that i get.

  3. Nah, I've just learnt that Speed is about 100x more easily storable than I thought it was - anyone able to tap Steel is going to wipe the floor with a Radiant now

Still not sure that this thread on storing steel is accurate.  If it was that easy then the feruchemists would have never been killed by Inquisitors.

For how many knights there were, you have to remember that many of the orders were not fighters, but these numbers might be offset by the one thing that we are all forgetting... Squires.  Not sure the extent that they can use stormlight, but I think we can assume 5+ squires per windrunner.

  4. It's a cool idea, but unless the strength-boosting properties stack, there's no real benefit to having a second set of Plate.  Shardplate, we know, is really heavy (it has to be put on from the bottom up, so that the wearer isn't crushed by the weight), so lugging around a whole second set of plate on top of the first seems like it'd slow you down quite a bit.

And for what?  You'd get some extra defense for having a second set of Plate, since now your opponents have to break through two sets -- but you'd be way better off giving the second set to a trusted ally (see Adolin vis-a-vis Dalinar, though technically IIRC Adolin inherited his Plate from his mother) and making your opponents fight two shardbearers at once.

    Adolin his plate from Shshshshsh?

  5. The spren likely have some knowledge of him, and Jasnah did know him from when he was the King's Wit in Alethkar.  Hoid is also most likely a lightweaver based on his interactions with Shallan, and how he refers to some of his messages as "Truths".  Jasnah's spren would have been able to see his spren.

  6. The shardplate only forms around humans, otherwise we would have noticed it binding to all the tables and stools that you sat it on.  Double layering would probably not work, and we don't know that much about how they are made too assume more about them.

  7. One instance where Feruchemical chromium is useful it paired with allomantic steel.  All pushes connect, making you the best sniper that ever lived.  I personally think that chromium works similar to precognition from the reckoners series, just randomly shoot with no aim and it will hit something.

  8. Not sure if something like this has been posted before, but here it goes.

With all of the arrayed powers of the Cosmere at your fingertips, how would you use it to screw with co-workers, boss, classmates, or sports team?

My idea would be to use a reverse lashing at a baseball game to make every hit from the other team go out of bounds and every pitch miss.
