    Huh. Maill seems to be trying to commandeer attacks. In cycle 3, I was asked to kill DC by a contact claiming to act on his behalf. At the time, I trusted both Maill and the contact somewhat, so I didn't really question it, just replied that I didn't have a kill and asked for the rationale (which I never received). I also didn't mention it earlier since I didn't think it was that relevant and didn't want to screw up any of his plans, assuming they were still in motion, but if he's doing it on a large scale I definitely think it's cause for concern

    I fireballed Araris last cycle, but it failed for some reason. Whoever protected him, please don't. We have limited cycles so we need to root out as many eliminators as possible.

    I was simply voicing all of the possibilities, I acknowledged the second possibility was unlikely. Really, my only assumptions were that you meant you had a T3 when you said I was on the right track and that there is only one of each T3, which matches all emperical evidence thus far, even factoring in role claims

    I'm assuming by that you mean you do, in fact, have a T3. I'm also of the opinion that there is likely only one of each T3, and every T3 but water is known. If you truly were using Water 3 on me, I'd very much like to know why. It doesn't seem a very village thing to do, since Water 3 is a sort of poisoner role that only really seems to help the eliminators by removing a huge chunk of the players at once without gleaning information along the way. If, alternately, you meant you were indeed lying through omission as to the extent of your powers, it seems possible that you could be a hidden faction like the Vord trying to convert me, which I rather doubt we wouldn't know of this late in the game.

    Hellscythe doesn't seem to be the kind of person to post invalid information, so unless you deliberately lied in a claim to them, I don't see what could have resulted in that information being untrue. Unless, of course, you lied through omission of your powers, and actually have a T3 (water, perhaps?) and wanted to use that on me.

    Based on HS' post, the only actions you could have targeted me with is Water 2 and Air 2, both of which are spying abilities like the ones you just said would be mainly traitor abilities. I don't even have Water 2, and you hypocritically accused me of using/having it. You also claimed earlier that your action on me had to do with your secondary fury, but unless you spied on a Water user's air PMs (which I find rather unlikely), that was a blatant lie. I can't address the remark on Wood 1 because I don't know who used it or why, so you have a fair point there. Assuming you spied on my PMs, however, someone with a hidden E2 could have doubled up on me to protect themselves, then had their nonexistent water PMs spied on. Not sure how likely this is, but it does provide a reasonable alternative. I was avoiding calling you out earlier since most people seemed to think you were innocent and we didn't really need division in the ranks, but I have no such reservations now that I'm defending myselfSorry if that came off as rude or snappy, I haven't been having a great day. I didn't mean any offense, but I might have taken my stance a little too strongly

    I'm weird? There goes my self esteem But seriously, I'd prefer some actual reasoning as to why you think I'm suspicious. Oh, and what did you mean by "still"? Seems to me you've only been suspicious of me since I started asking what you were trying to use on me last cycle

    Perhaps it's because I requested protection from them again, and they didn't want it revealed that they were the person who wouldn't be self targeting. I can't be sure, however, since I don't even know who they are.

    I think the state of the cognitive is more or less a nonissue, since a new WoB stated perpendicularities are direct "punctures" from the physical to spiritual realm, completely skipping the cognitive. The state of the spiritual seems a much bigger issue

    Mine has to be HoA. It's rare enough you see a book without gaping plot holes, and in HoA Sanderson put the finishing touches on an entire trilogy that was practically watertight (I get slightly CDO about plot sometimes, in case you couldn't tell). I also loved the magic systems and the focus on consequences, as well as the character development. The Mistborn Trilogy is probably my favorite trilogy of all time (so far, at least). After that, I'd have to go with Emperor's Soul. It just has such good characterization and an amazing theme, plus an interesing well of information on Relmatic theory. And the spikes give you powers (sort of) in exchange for your soul. They aren't really powers, just kinda funny abilities.

    To those of you who have read the series, there's no one who can redirect emotions or anger or something powerfully enough that us voting on cloud could result in some disasterous consequences, right? I think he's bluffing, but there's no way to tell since I have literally no idea what the potential roles would be

    So, I was listening to "superheroes" by The Script awhile ago, and I started drawing mental parallels to Mistborn. EVERY SINGLE LINE had some sort of parallel to Vin, Elend or Zane. The Script have made quite a few of my favorite songs, so I went back and looked for similarities in those as well. So far, I've noticed that "Break even" seems somewhat Elantrian and "Flares" seems to nicely fit Sazed's character development. Certain points, as well as the general theme of "for the first time" reminds me of Stormlight, too. I could be drawning parallels where they don't exist, but I just thought it was worth sharing this, since I found it really interesting Has anyone else noticed anything like this? And I'll post a full analysis if anyone is interested

    I'll admit, that does make sense, especially for a game with only 8(?) cycles, since it would make it quicker to outnumber the villagers while keeping the Elims from being over powered by concentrating the T3s in the village . More Elims would also explain the luck we've been having (in part, at least)

    Good idea. His passive life doesn't take an action, so the roleblock wouldn't affect that. Didn't even think about it not being covered. Ehh, sort of doubt it. Unless both of them had W3 or something, I don't see any reason they'd get something from dying. Seems more like trying to go out with a bang

    I had wood one? That's news to me... Anyways, I got T2 fire last cycle. Whoever protected me last turn, please continue to do so if you're able (claiming this is going to make me a HUGE eliminator target most likely). I'm assuming this is by random chance, since I had no communication with Senoid outside of the thread. Considering his air fury, I'd assume he'd make a PM with his heir if he chose them. And I agree that cloudjumper is the most suspicious right now, since he's just about guaranteed to be an elim (short of an extremely unlikely coincidence in which the Elims targeted Senoid as well) Oh, and person who protected me last turn, please don't claim publicly that you'll be protecting me this one too. That way, we can hopefully keep the eliminators blind as to who isn't self protecting. Edit: Oh, and I'd be willing to set up my fireball kill as a second lynch for the most part. I may refrain sometimes if I feel the person is innocent or occasionally commandeer it if I'm sure the person is guilty, but it's unlikely I'll do either in the course of this game.

    Hey guys! Just saw signups, I'll be joining as well! I have finals coming up, so I might not have much time (For studying. Obviously SE is the priority ) Bugsy awoke with a start, an unfamiliar weight pressing against his face and tsag of a crick in his neck. He groaned, attempting to sit up, only to find that he was already propped up in a chair. His chair, he remembered suddenly. He had fallen asleep reading again. It wasn't a particularly interesting book, simply a historical account of the Age of Legends, made up mostly of the rumors that had propagated since. Still, it wasn't terrible. And it made for a wonderful sleeping potion, he though wryly as he sat up in his chair. He had been having trouble sleeping lately, largely on account of some bad dreams. Vague memories of a time long past, yet at somehow taking place both now and in the future. He had not existed in this alternate reality; of that he was sure. Still, some of his closest friends in the village had lived during that time. The images had not been pretty. They had killed and been killed, turning against themselves in an attempt to root out the evil in their midst. He shook his head. He didn't know what caused the dreams, but they could not be possibly true. These people could not possibly be able to commit the horrifying atrocities he saw each night. Pushing the thoughts to the back of his mind, he rose, stretching out his back. He quickly dressed and ate, then headed to the library for the day. He was the head librarian for the village, not that it truly mattered; few enough people visited that he probably could choose not to show up to his job for weeks and not be missed. As he strolled down the street, rubbing futilely at his own neck in an attempt to ease the still-present knot, he saw a man selling dirt nearby. A small crowd had formed around him, and Bugsy sighed softly. It was a sad time indeed when a man giving dirt for money attracted more attention than a man giving knowledge for free. Arriving at the library, he opened the unlocked door and slouched down in his favorite armchair, flipping open his book to begin reading from where he had left off the previous night. He was asleep within 10 minutes I'm not familiar with LG6 or WoT, so I apologize in advance for any mishaps I may make in my RP. (Oh, and I wasn't able to find the LG6 thread. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it'd be much appreciated )

    Wish I could claim credit for that, but I only have T1 metal along with T1 water. It really limits the actions I can do, unfortunately. I'm not entirely convinced this actually gives us much information. With the eliminator kill having not shown up, it is possible they somehow forgot to put in the kill, or had to use all of their actions to avoid suspicion. It's also possible players could have lied about what actions they took. It's also not a complete list. I should technically be on there, since I only can use one action a turn between T1 metal and T1 water

    I'm pretty much convinced there is a secret faction. I'd assume their win con has something to do with reaching the cycle limit or preventing a win or something similar

    Therorising on the possible secret roles/rules/etc. (ALUMINUM HAT ALERT) So guys, any thoughts on what "sleeper agents, hidden factions, Vord, or WMD" mentioned in the OP are/what form they could take? Hidden factions are rather self explanatory, but could have some interesting goals. Sleeper agents are more interesting. I'd suggest that it perhaps means eliminators aren't aware of their eliminator status at first, but that doesn't make sense for a game with a turn limit. If "sleeper agents" instead refers to the eliminators as a whole, the fact that their existence can neither be confirmed nor denied could mean some interesting things. Perhaps they just don't exist and this is an experiment like the first round, or perhaps they don't exist in a conventional sense. I'm assuming WMD refers to a weapon of mass destruction. I'm also assuming the Vord are from the book. If they are, could someone familiar with the series briefly explain? I'm going to avoid google searching it so I don't get spoilers. Last question: Do dreams have any relevance in the series? If so, it might explain the repeating theme in the writeups

    The Eliminators don't seem to have killed anyone. Just to confirm, they do have a group kill, correct? Edit: Upon looking at the player list, along with the data I have on myself, all players appear to only have T1 on their main fury type. Not sure how useful that is to know, but it might slightly clear "main" metalcrafters like myself from being the vigilantes Edit 2: Yep, they do. I wonder what happened (and apologize for my laziness) Edit 3: Wow, lots of edits. Anyways, the eliminators must have either killed someone who was protected or maybe someone who was also vigilante killed. I'm not sure which takes precedence, they appear to be on the same tier order of operations wise
