This seems somewhat supported by Warbreaker. I don't know how to do spoiler tags or if they are even necessary for this but just in case I won't mention it specifically. If you've read Warbreaker, you should know what I'm talking about, hopefully.
Yes, but I could not find a quotation specifically, so...

So, shapeshifting. That does not have a large position in the cosmere books. I don't think we have really seen it at all, so your curiosity should be piqued.
Instead, let me walk you through healing:
We know that the reason Kaladin did not heal his slave brand, but Lopen healed his arm was due to their perceptions of themselves. Kaladin saw himself with his slave brand.
Basically, healing is modelled after a certain pattern defined by self perception. I think most people having read the night angel trilogy notice something here (massive night angel spoilers):
Durzo blint turns into a massive bird near the end of book 3, and explains that you can shapeshift by changing the pattern rebirth is based on
I should introduce the following assumption here: Healing occurs whenever someone's physique differs from the perception/pattern proposed.
Basically, it amounts to this. If someone who can heal changes how they see themselves, they will shapeshift, and this could be used to powerful ends.
What do you think? Please tell me if I missed something.
EDIT: Added a spoiler tag

The scar in the Sovereign arms are, to me, a indicative that Kelsier when hijacked the physical realm did't using a similar method, and the auto image of his arms being scared carried over to new "new body".
I suspect that they used hermalurgy in a dead body to connect Kelsier cognitive self with this body, and when this body received Kelsier cognitive and spiritual webs, the body "turned" in the image that Kelsier had of himself minus the spikes he used to bind everything together. Kind a forgery, the new body react to make sense of the new cognitive aspect.
I definitely agree with that. I always saw the body he took as that of TLR. Not sure why.

I'm all about Spook still being alive, but the timing is off. I think that it makes more sense that eye-spike man is Kelsier. He has the scars, and there's no mention of Spook having an eye-spike at any point in his rule. If my understanding of the timeline is correct, the visit to the south would have been right in the middle of Spook's rule, and I feel it would have been hard to hide a giant spike in his face.
Also with what Wax understands at the end of BOM.

Light, apart from a photon, is a wave. Brandon has mentioned somewhere that if something is half in, half out of a speed bubble, wether it is sped up depends on how said object sees itself. The way I see it is this. When the light sees itself as inside the speed bubble, the whole beam is suddenly incorporated at the same time. Now, as mentioned in the main post, the speed of light is constant. either the light sees itself as completely out of the bubble, or it progresses inside the bubble, entering the bubble instantaneously, without crossing any sort of 'boundary'. This would mean no red shift.
That's how I always saw it, at least.

At a guess: white hair? Hoid's pretty devoted to his cause, I imagine he could have manipulated events to get him turned into one, though without the Aonic blood, I doubt it would be easy.
I think there is WOB that Hoid failed to become an elantrian, but hung around elantris for a while

What about brass? Well, since Soothing is not a Feruchemical power, then that argument does not apply. I'd imagine the Lord Ruler is a brass savant, for one thing (it's pretty much a given, considering how long he burned it). Brandon also said in the annotations that the Lord Ruler used Hemalurgy to pull off his most astonishing tricks, so that could have something to do with it.
I may be wrong, but I think there's WOB that it works through feruchemy. Basically, it works both ways. You can burn your reserves, or you can burn a metal with the added amount of the attribute in it.

More interesting is whether or not Dalinar can converse with the Stormfather as readily as Kaladin & Syl and Shalan & Pattern. The Stormfather could fill in so many gaps in our current understanding, wonder if the Stormfather will hand Dalinar a RAFO?

Secret? It's the closest thing we have to a motto here! "17th Shard - Putting Spikes in Your Eyes Since 2010".
There has to be something else. There's always another secret.

I accidentally bonded a spren. Oops. I think I'm a theory weaver, but I have yet to speak the second words.

But if this were the reason why savants happen, wouldn't all savants change the same way? They're all, by this theory, being warped by steady investiture of Preservation, yet their symptoms vary by which metal they burn.
I'd argue that preservation has the power of a mixture of all metals, but one metal brings one aspect of you closer to preservation

I'm pretty sure that we have WOB that there are not 10 "void-orders", and that the correlation is not 1-1

5. Format it like so:
Espoused Theories: Theory #1 Name, etc.
It's not a perfect system, but let's try it for now. The obvious problem involves when we have a ridiculous amount of theories. It's not a problem now, but it could be later. What do you think of this idea? Have any ideas to make it run more smoothly?
hm, the code doesn't seem to work for me, or is there something wrong?

What happens if you cover a hemalurgic spike in soulcast blood?
Here's my theory:
First off, we know from SoS that covering a spike in blood transfers powers hemalurgically, and that investiture is intrinsically linked to perception. If a radiant were to soulcast blood right onto a spike (atium, in this case, because it holds everything), what would happen?
Because perception has so much power, I think that it would be as if that person's blood covered the spike. A person spiked with this would thus gain control over two surges. If someone else were to use a soulcaster, it would still be their blood on the spike.
This might have other ramifications, but basically, soulcast blood is a replica of the blood of the soulcaster. What do you think?
EDIT: as many have pointed out, I misread SoS, and so thought that covering a spike in blood (completely) was the same thing as stabbing someone.

I'm on my phone so I don't have the exact quote, but I'm fairly certain that the blood in the prelude is violet, not purple. Might be splitting hairs, but knowing BS's attention to detail, this could be significant. I always suspected the violet blood would turn out to be Aimian.
On topic: great theory! +1
I think, though, that the blood variation may be due to who's talking. Not everyone is specific with colours, so...

I think bloodmakers can do it too. I imagine hypnosis works too
