  1. Terrismen should have dark skin(like some kind of Africans or Indians?), and other people should look like western European people(?). Any way, as he got the power, plastic surgery should be just a piece of cake.
  2. I hope I didn't act aggressively as I didn't mean to. Maybe I didn't organize my words well (as English is not my first language ). My point is, again and shocking are the reasons TLR got himself defeated. He still had the chance when bracers were pushed off. If he could be calm and quick enough, he could pull back his bracers immediately. However, Rashek was never a calm guy. Rashek was a powerful wizard, but I would not say he was an experienced warriors. He didn't fight, he just crushed those people against him. He might never fight in a adversity or rival situation during last several hundred years. "He is not a god/ he will be killed", I guess the fact distracted him at the moment when he lost his bracers.
  3. That's the exact question I want to ask. Maybe he set up a "opinion poll" in everyone's mind. 口 I endorse Rashek as my ruler. 口 damnation you, Rashek 口 Send me to the south
  4. the next 3 paragraphs: I think his transformation didn't stop at middle-age. He got older and older during several seconds. Well, we don't have explicit indications on how ages affect allomancy. But as every parts of his body were collapsing(including his brain, lung and stomach), allomancy could not help much at that time.
  5. I re-read those pages. TLR became middle-aged immediately after Vin pushed off his braclets, and several seconds later, he became much older. I believe if these braclets are just normal atiummind, it can explain as well. His body just need some time to transform. Using allomancy is as easy as walking, If you are 20 years old. However, if you are over 80, it won't be so easy. And don't forget, TLR is around 1000 years old. No matter how much strength, health or speed he stored in his other metalminds, every parts of his body was dying once he lost his atiummind. Under such states, it's not surprising he couldn't use any allomancy at that moment. And yes, I believe TLR should have nicrosilmind to enhance his allomancy. We should remember he can affect thousands of people with emotion allomancy in the square. For even lerasnium mistborn, it sounds too impossible. He should be tapping Investiture from nicrosilmind at the same time
  6. It should create more identity. However, BS once mentioned compounding aluminum is not quite useful, I think he means "these more identity is not quite useful" as identity is something we prefer to storing instead of tapping. He could left a copy of his identiy in the bands. A trueself should be able to tap this identity, and then....he should be able to access any metalminds(they may be in the museum now) left by Lord Ruler
  7. he should not grant them the power to be immortal. Even though he granted it, southern people cannot get any atium to compound (as it can only be found in the Pits). If Lord Ruler just wanted them survive in the south, I think the power on gold(health) and brass(warmth) should be enough.
  8. Hi guys, happy new year! I just read Chapter 3 of BOM. It disclosed the possible usage of nicrosil and aluminum in feruchemy. I believe this could be some hints on how southern people used metallurgic arts. BS once mentioned: It confused me quite a while until BOM Chapter 3. I believe nicrosil-mind is the key. Here is my speculation: Nicrosil could be used to store investiture, which includes any allomancy or feruchemy power. If someone is a F-nicrosil+A-bronze twinborn, he can store his seeker ability and tap in a short time to achieve extraordinary strong seeking power. With this power, he can easily pierce copperclod just like what Vin did under the charge of her hemalurgy earring. Thank to aluminum and Trueself, now we have some way to make use of some others' metalmind. That means, someone who is not a metalborn could achieve some allomancy or feruchemy power temporarily by wearing a generic nicrosil-mind. Productivity of nicrosil-minds seems to be a problem? Don't forget, we have compounding! With compounding, we can gain much more allomancy or feruchemy power than we stored. As long as we have enough nicrosil to support compouding, we can create many-many nicrosil-minds to support a full-born army. Nowe we can speculate what Rashed did to help people surive in the south. After his accession, Rashek must leave them a set of nicrosil minds which included most allomancy and feruchemy powers and told them the knowledge to use them. With those nicrosil-mind as "the first pot of gold", southern people should be able to mass product allomancy or feruchemy. For southern people, allomancy and feruchemy may not be a inherent gift, but the power from their nicrosil-mind equipments. However, although Rashek may leave them some nicrosil and alumnium to support the production at the the beginning, those could not be much. Nicrosil should be the most important resource in the south, as how much nicrosil they have, how many full-born warriors they can create.
  9. I don't think novels or WOB mentioned or implied that store percentage is related to feruchemists' power. If someone could store 100% of his weight, he should be able to float up like a balloon via aerostatic buoyancy (only if he takes off all his clothing). Anyway, I believe Identify is the key to use some other's metalmind (but the detail is not quite clear: "Trueself could use anyone else's metalmind" or "Trueself could create metalmind which could be accessed by anyone else". I tend to the later).
  10. This is a good speculation. I would not be surprised that if BS discloses lerassium can be used to plasticity(changeability) or stability(un-changeability). Imagine someone with a lerasiummind could save himself from horrible accident by tapping stability in a shot time.
