  1. I see it like this, tapping steel would give your brain enganced processing speed so time would seem to slow. This would give you the time to mentally work out a complex equation, but you still dont have the ability to work it out. Zinc would give you the ability to solve the equation mentally.

So, this being said, some events that could occur are not feasible due to my lack of information. (Please don't nerd shame me.)

Well you see, due to hemalurgic creations, Vin ascending to the ultimate level(In Shadows of Self), Kelsier reincarnating as Wax's long lost twin brother (Also in Shadows of Self) and finally, the Andonalsium(probably butchered the spelling) reforming, being shattered(this time with twenty shards) by Kelsier and Vin's child who then absorbed all of the power becoming an immortal master of the universe(Actually, end of Alloy of Law, you must have missed it:rolleyes:)..... YIU DUN GOOFED!!!!!

  3. Your point, while a good one, I think has some holes in it.

If he were to appear with no wound to the head and a wound to the shoulder instead, then they would know he was using an Essence Mark and it would probably be bad.

The Resealers could probably make the wound dissapear, after all, It wouldn't do to have the emperor have a massive scar on his head, so it wouldn't matter where it hit because the emperor would look the same regardless.

Also, my understanding was that Essence marks and indedeed, forgery it's self change the history of the object so that it becomes changed and altered. So, how could this be used to restore the emperor's personality? How would changing history in any way other than affecting where the arrow hit restore the emperor's personality?

Also, while you probably would have to know a bit of the emperor's history to change where the arrow hit, I don't think that you would have to know the entire thing, you just have to know the history that you have to alter a bit. For example, when Shai changes the history of the wall so that an artist came and painted it, she didn't have to know the entire history of the wall, or even it's history at all. She just had to know that an artist could have been moved there and painted a mural.

  4. So I was just re-reading Emperor's Soul when suddenly, a thought hit me. The entire premise of the book is that the emperor's brain was injured in an attack and healed. The twist is, he was essentially rendered a vegetable. Shai's job is to

    Spoiler

Use a forgery to re-write the emperor's personality to be normal again.

What I realized is that soulstamps just rewrite an object's history... so, why not just rewrite the emperor's history so that the arrow hit him in the shoulder, or didn't strike him stupid. Is there any real need to give him a new personality? Speaking of which, how does that work? My impression was that Shai's stamp was made to change the emperor's history to make his personality similar to his old, pre-injury one. But, why does she need to rewrite his entire history? His personality was fine up untill the brain injury, so I think it would just be easier to make the injury less severe, or hit somewhere else so the emperor's brain wasn't damaged. Did I read the entire plot wrong or does it just not make sense?

  5. Say you had a big iron statue, could a mistborn go and push on the head of the statue while pulling only the legs? Can an allomancer pull/push on only one part of a metal object while leaving the rest alone? I'm thinking that with practice, they could. I feel like it would be similar to using a piercing as an allomantic reserve (Which I'm pretty sure we have a WoB on) Thoughts? Opinions?

  6. Yeah, after reading a bit I agree about the whole slaveform over dullform and I'm willing to concede about your point about natural fertility and a different mindset focused on mating. I think that we just need a WoB on this, we just don't have enough information.

  7. Ok, just got out my book and you are right, it is called slaveform, sorry. Also, while the forms are probably more specializations like you said, there are some things that different forms can't do. This is sort of shown when Words of Radiance says "warform did not intrinsically make one more disciplined. Unfortunately, it did hamper one's artistic skill." on page 165 and when it says "But each had it's quirks. A worker had difficulty committing violence..." on the same page. While the word difficulty does imply that you are right, I think that the quote "Most couples, in order to have a child, would enter the form and sequester themselves away for a year-then would be out of the form as soon after the child's birth as possible." favors my point. it says that in order to have a child, they would enter the form and then be out of the form as soon as possible. If any other form could have a child, why would most couples enter it? They obviously despise mate form, so if there was another way, I feel like it wouldn't say that most couples enter the form.

  8. Random question, how do Parshmen breed? I know regular Parshendi change into mate form in order to breed, but I think someone would notice if a Parshman snuck away and returned looking completely different. Another question, are all Parshmen just Parshendi in dull form? I know in the book it was said the dull form is used to spy on the humans so I assumed that all Parshmen were just Parshendi in dull form. I guess that they could just be a separate tribe of Parshendi that was found and enslaved, it was said that once the only forms known were dull form and mate form. What do you guys think?

  9. Random question, could you selectively store a feruchemical attribute? For example, storing only the warmth in your arm or only the strength in your legs. On that matter, could you selectively tap? Tap brass to make only your hands warm or use pewter to make only your legs strong? I seem to remember something in the MAG (Not sure if it'c canon or not) that a brass compounding feat is to release warmth from your hands to melt metals. Would that be a viable option?
