  1. I don't think she'll go to the ghostbloods though they might approach her. I do however think she will seek out the skybreakers seeking justice for her husband's death and vengeance against his slayer.
  2. Thanks! Now I can finish stuffing my feather pillow. I trade a freshly shaved hobo beard.
  3. Thank harmony, I needed something to hold all my hats. In trade how about I give you this twice sneezed in hanky
  4. And so the plot thickens. This should be a cosmere game....cosmere against humanity
  5. Ding Ding ding Kalladin flapping like the storm father's own beard he was.
  6. That's a really good hint and if he doesn't wanna guess then I'll give a bad hint to even it out. ......Don't judge me to harshly for this hint now.....like a bag in the wind
  7. Spot on,let's see you take the guess ;p I wanna see what you draw.
  8. I used to think his wife died during child birth but after a few rereads I started to think Renarin was at least old enough to have partial memories of her, so you might be right. So much anticipation. ... SA3 at 53% first draft.....omg the excitement is real.
  9. I suspect he went to the nightwatcher to save Renarin and in turn lost his wife and all memory of her
  10. Alright so this one should be super easy lol
  11. I have and well nvm then lol i must have missed it.
  12. Is it Kaladins knife slowly closing in on the eyes slits of Helorans visor?
  13. The storm wall or storm father
  14. What about the ardentia there's the scene in my mind where Adolin is talking to an ardent about Dalanars visions and he made mention that while Dalanar was his master he is not his religious superior. Is the core ruling element of the Vorin church the sons of honor or is the SoH just a weapon for the church. There's also the scene where Dalanar is talking to the ardent right before the saddle reveal and at the end he tells Dalanar "we're with you." Implying that those in the know within the church are 1 keeping tabs on Dalanar and 2 supporters of what he is trying to and then finally manages to accomplish.
  15. Remember odium isn't malice though that splinter is most definitely subservient to him.
  16. o·di·um noun general or widespread hatred or disgust directed toward someone as a result of their actions. Going off the definition I'd say that killing is only a reaction to what odium wants, How about making extreme xebophobes out of anything he comes in contact with, Mark humans hate humans sure sounds good but also make humans hate parshmen also vice versa oh but wait what about those traitorous listeners who disobeyed odium abd fled let's infiltrate them and spread more hate, but wait they disobeyed eshoni so now you make Parshundi hate Parshundi. Also side note, in BoM in one of the news paper clips there's a oddly familiar monster described. Anyone wanna bet that's a Parshundi (my guess is relayn sp)
  17. Well, how many bond smiths will there be, I got the impression it was a small order of 3 or 4. Also the visions and death rattles are similar but not the same the visions are through honors power and the death rattles are of cultivation. I say that because the storm father says he's not good at divination and that cultivation was always better at it. Also if we look at the two the death rattles are either current events or the future while the visions are of the past. Which one would think it a easier to recall than precall.
  18. Actually Gavalar did have the visions, I say this because at the end of WoR Graves is talking to Moash about the merchants who are going to scavenge the abandoned war camps saying they deserve what's coming and Moash asks what's coming and Graves responds with everstorms and says they only know the term from Gavalars visions.
  19. Start with blood follows, its kinda hard to find but it is technically the first novella I think and it paints an interesting picture of Bauchelain and Korbal Broach well at least expands on their story
  20. I feel the Parshundi God's are actually the Heralds who saved this group of the listeners who objected to odium and took on dull form to avoid the void spren and their effects. I say this because in a few of the opening songs of the listeners before the chapters begin I'm sure one describes the Heralds. (I'll find the quote soon) and also when Kaladin finds the dagger with the pictures of the Heralds on the Parshundi corpse it would explain why they had it. Now to be fair their old gods probably were of Odium but like I said these particular listeners hid themselves in a remote place probably with the Heralds help possibly why Natanatan was shattered.
  21. Welp I like Navani for the most part she's like most other characters in the books, misfit broken people, what I like most about her is that she decided to pick herself up and not be miserable as a relic in the capital, only allowed idle gossip and not let into the maneuverings of the court. Now to be fair she has her flaws but she is definitely not ice cold. She feels very deeply for her children (despite calling her son useless as a king and her possible resentment that Jasina didn't need her love) and for those like Dalanar and his sons. When she first gets to the war camps and seduces Dalanar I don't feel this is political maneuvering but a true desperate outreach to a man who she feels is the only person who knows the true individual she is. After Sadeas's betrayal Navani pieces together that his troops had not been routed indeed they looked like they had hardly seen battle so she knows what had gone on which is why she chooses justice as her glyph to burn. She was seeking justice to the betrayal she knew had happened. When Shallan arrives and tells Dalanar and Navani of Jasinas death Navani is devastated and strikes out unkindly at Shallan saying it was her fault for burning the boat but as Dalanar points out Jasina was likely stabbed and dead so setting the ship on fire was prudent. Navani excuses herself and apologizes then leaves to presumably cry her eyes out in private. Later we see her doing one of two things spending her time with Dalanar and working on and funding her work in Fabriels. Which shows me by the end of the second book like almost all the others that the cracks and broken pieces are starting to mend for her, or at the very least she pulled herself out of a miserable situation and tries her best to cut away at her thorns.
  22. I might be wrong but doesn't he start fiddling with it after he bonds his blade. Like I posted before is it the fabriel Navanie shows Adolin, Renarin and Dalanar that eases aches and pains, if so is Renarin using it to sooth the screams he would be constantly hearing.
  23. One of my favorite book universes Whiskeyjack and Dalanar would be such good friends
  24. Yeah I always thought it was the box Navani (sp) showed that eases aches and pains and I assumed it was a gift for Renarin and that when he was anxious he would activate the fabriel
