    "I will trust others to protect me" or maybe "I will allow others to protect me" Kaladin is still trying to do it all himself. I'm not sure it's about leadership so much as limits.

    I think the fact that the Fused looks RED-violet is significant. Violet is voidlight. The red might be mixed or 'corrupted' investiture.
