  1. I really like this webcomic because I read a lot of them, and Ava's Demon has an entirely different style, and variety is a fairly great thing.
  2. I'm pretty sure that she was just a skaa, because on the player list it lists her as such
  3. Hello all, I am back. Ash was speaking the truth, we are members of the same House, and that is why I attempted to Riot Jain, because I didn't trust people not to switch a vote to Ash. I chose not to Riot anyone before I left wifi, so someone Soothed my vote on Hadrian
  4. Unfortunately, I will be out of wifi until the cycle ends, so i won't be able to contribute more to the discussion. I am casting my vote for Hadrian, because I don't trust him.
  5. Fair enough, Jain, that helps a little, but not that much. Gamma, I tried to Riot Jain to target Hadrian because through this game he hasn't seemed trustworthy to me. I know this is his first game, but in his situations he has detailed there have been several things left out. This could just be a mistake, but they have been things that direct someone's attention in a certain direction, which seems to me like he is trying to pull an Aether from Game 1 with misinformation.
  6. I'm posting this, and I am obviously saying that I am not a skaa, and I believe writing this out will help. Yes, I did use a metal and it was zinc on Jain. I did this because Hadrian was fairly suspicious to me, so I tried to change the vote. After the voting that had looked to stay the same, I initially thought that Racine was a Rioter that Rioted someone from Hadrian to Ashiotte, as that would account for the missing vote. However, I did also go to the Informants, and I learned that Racine is a Tineye, which disproves my idea. Having the Kandra in Fien Urbain's house was another way to account for the missing vote, but apparently that was incorrect. I would like to know if my Riot was merely blocked, or someone voting for Hadrian was Rioted or Soothed by someone not voting, like I did, so Jain, if you are willing, would you tell us if you are a Smoker?
  7. Another possibility, not likely, but still possible, is that they have nobody in House Elariel, and want to get rid off all of them.
  8. Umm, now we have 2 people with 2 votes, Mailu miscounted on Wandrian.
  9. Apologies, Wandrian, I wasn't really paying attention when I posted that. I will be back later with some more posts, before the roleover time.
  10. That was purely RP and I explained it here.
  11. A good example of tech still developing is the Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks. And to some extent, Malazan book of the Fallen introduces technology, in the form of grenades and a mention of a car-like thing. The no technology can be rationalized by the fact that magic can take the jobs so there isn't any need to invent something like gunpowder and such, but as you said, Wyrm, it still is unbelievable most of the time.
  12. Umm, doesn't it end in 1 hour? Edit: Saw the 3 day cycle length right now, assumed it was 2. Sorry
  13. Another Vote Tally Fien (1): Mesist, Cadri Alden (0): Fain Mesist (0): Tonul Fain (0): Fien Sylinia (1): Mailu Lord Heron (0): Jain Ash (3): Ash, Fien, Jain, Mailu Jain (0): Hyrun, Hadrian Kalden (1): Tonul Hadrian? (0): Kas. Mailu (0): Sylina Jae (1): Mailu, Alden Cadri (0): Racine Wandrin (1): Cat, Tonul Cat (0): Kaldin Hyrun (1): Mesist Because Kaldin posted, I will retract my vote for Kalden and vote for the only other inactive, because he has been on. Wandrin, do you have anything to add? Edit: Look at luckat's I still need to work on my Listmaking it appears Another color problem.
  14. Also, I don't know about the others, but I saw Shivertongue reading the thread earlier, so that reduces his excuses.
  15. I think Meta got confused, as I defended Gamma in RP. To be clear, that was purely RP, because Tonul thought it was a little odd that the first person to vote votes for the House Lord. I acknowledge that skaa might be House Lords, but Tonul doesn't see how that is possible. I will hereby retract my vote for Mesist, and change it too Kalden, to try to get some more people posting
  16. Tonul put down is book as Wyrm Heron burst into the ballroom. Interesting, Tonul thought as he watched the situation play out. Skaa really are capable of passing as us. There had been rumors of this previously, but it was nice to have some conclusive proof of the matter. He made is way done to the main area, after Wyrm made his speech, and was astonished when someone immediately accused a House Lord "Excuse me," Tonul said as he walked over to the accuser, "But did you just accuse a House Lord of being a Skaa?! Despite the matter of their increased intelligence, as we found out here, the idea that one could masquerade as a House Lord is inconceivable! So, why would you accuse Fien Urbain?" Just to be clear, this is a vote for Mesist, however I already said that I didn't know who he was, so here is the clarification. Edit: Huh, first time problems with the color editor
  17. Tonul watched as the shoddily dressed man walked right in and insulted another noble without even attempting to be subtle. The night was shaping up to be interesting, with a surprising number of people showing up to the Heron House Ball. People were already mingling and forming obvious groups. Currently, Tonul was just watching from a balcony, but he knew that he should head down eventually. Just need to let them become a bit more separated before I move through them.
  18. Like Wyrm said, the both look awesome, but the Shard game looks really interesting.
  19. Tonul Venture is signing up. He enjoys researching and reading books as well as the intrigue of the Houses in equal measure
  20. Ok, for everyone that reads this, I am sorry, but I am dropping all the webcomics I read that haven't been mentioned. (Also, only ones that have updated within the last year.)
  21. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention that I loved was the first cycle had no death actions. I know every game is different in terms of speed and stuff, but that was great. It allows the first vote not to be completely blind, and I like that.
  22. Sorry, looked through it again and realized most of my confusion was the fact that the majority of abilities could be used during the day or night cycles. Giving the Voidbringers a win condition of killing the Truthwatcher is good, but I feel like maybe giving the Truthwatcher an extra live beyond what it currently has would balance it out a bit more. Maybe base the number of lives of the number of people playing or something like that.
  23. It looks pretty good, however, you need to decide whether it will be Quick Fix or not, as there are some things in the rules that are a bit ambiguous about what it will be.
