The entry form doesn't work!

I'm not a reader, but as I've said in previous posts, Sanderson and converted me into one... I primarily read his books but I went from reading 5 books / novels in my lift to reading: Mistborn Trilogy Elantris Stormlight Archive Alloy of Law upwards of 9 books all in all in the last 8 months. (mainly because I limit myself to my audible / amazon purchases to once a month) So... as a first time reader of sorts, I also had never gone to a book signing before. Brandon is so down to earth, and funny! His SA3 reading was amazing. I can't comment on what happened or anything until after his tour. There was a person dressed as a cryptic. They were holding a stick! hahaha. I wanted a picture but I was too shy. Oh well! Good times! Shadows of Self is awesome so far!

I have been doing research all over the place, including this forum and can't find the answer. My thought is that as of right now... pre-book 3, we do not know how she got the blade. Is it a shardblade though? It didn't scream while in Kaladins hand while they were in the Chasms... and then she uses pattern as a blade as if he was a key for the Oathgate? Was she using a different blade? Is Pattern the blade she calls for? If so why does she have to wait 10 seconds.. Kaladin can summon his blade immediately due to Syl? Can someone please help me understand?! lol

Growing up I've read a couple things from english class and what not, but Brandon Sanderson has enchanted me into reading / audio books while I drive. I am in love with his cosmere. I will not stop until i've read all of his works! So far I've read: Mistborn Series (to date) Alloy of Law (I guess part of the same series) Stormlight Archive (both books) I then just started at the beginning and read Elantis (LOVED IT) I can pop on some audio book action and clean my house. 5 hours later the whole house is spotless... the wife is super happy, but the whole time... it was like I was a cleaning zombie, trapped ever so sweetly inside the cosmere! What a wonderful replacement to over-binging netflix! @Brandon - I LOVE YOU BRANDON YOU ROCK! The dynamic characters you create... I am dumbfounded that all of this comes from one mind! Don't ever stop! I'll follow you until the day I die. I will have read all of your books within a year. Oh... and Hi everybody!
