Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight
Darkness Ascendant replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I actually think both of you are village Sart I'm not so sure about being an elim anymore. His response to everything has instilled some reasonable doubt in me. And well, if you're going to condemn someone to capital punishment there should be beyond that. I don't feel comfortable lynching him at this stage. -

yeah, I'm a very think out loud kind of guy. I was debating trying to somehow twist it to make my vote on you work but I had to admit defeat Sometimes your worst enemy is yourself. (Also your best friend) Well then, its almost like Sart and I can't both be village. I know I'm village what are you Striker? :hmmm: Sart -

Well in that case yeah, I'm not the guy for that- haven't been paying much attention outside of stuff concerning me cos of time and preoccupations. -

Nah they can't, but they can convince someone else to- or the traitor could. I don't want substance from you, I want you to simply be as active as you can be. It would have been good to know about how the cycles worked for you earlier. And yeah, I've had my eyes on Bard and Ark as well. Maills been lurking which is suspicious to me as well. Yeah, I'm planning on a big post either tonight or tomorrow regarding a few players but for the most part I must admit I've just been annoyed with your contributions to discussion/the inane votes. That coupled with the inactivity is what made me suspicious of you the most but considering your justifications I'm willing to back down from them. I'll keep my vote on you for now until I look at bard/maill/ark tonight. I agree with everything you've said about them. What's going to change with the PMs? @Mailliw73 And @Furamirionind is that because I took my vote off of you? -
Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight

Unless one of them was a Gunner right? My shields got taken out, if the first is the case then potentially one of the person who targeted it used an IMB and took everyone who targeted its shields. Potentially could have been a ploy to ensure everyone's shields were out so that one person in the fray could be taken out with a Gunner or something. (First attack takes out shields, second deals damage). Maybe, but it was re-iterated a few times by me. In which case I do urge everyone to please for god's sake pay attention to the thread properly. Specially once the Traitor comes out (Since they cannot vote). -

I targeted 1-B night one, I said I would target 1-B night two. I brought it down to 3 health first night and was planning on finishing it off. Fura also said that they would target 1-B (for some reason), which I find suspicious. Fura has a faster ship than a Poco, as they destroyed 2-B before I did. And somebody destroyed 1-B before either of us did. So 3 people were targeting 1-B. Why would 3 people target one ship, when only one was necessary (me). I claimed to target 1-B first, then Fura did, and someone we do not know then targeted 1-B and had a ship faster than both of us. My shields got knocked out in the fight as well, @Furamirionind were your shields knocked too? In which case someone may have targeted 2-B with an IMB which affected all of us and made 2-B easier to kill. In the OoA, Gunners come before Destructors (and as far as ship actions go, Gunners and Pocos are equal). Fura's insistence they destroyed 2-B could be indicative of them being a Gunner as they could have gone earlier in the OoA (since Gunners can only gun and not use destructors). Or maybe its entirely wrong and a Largo used an IMB (thus jumping the OoA). Or we both used destructors and both destroyed 2-B. The suspicion rises from the multiple targeting of 1-B/2-B when multiple targets were not required. I claimed to target first, ages ago. And I've held suspicion of Fura before this. The real key is understanding who the third perpetrator on 1-B was, and Fura's lynch could potentially lead to that (Unless they claim a ship). Fura also never said she targeted 2-B, but that she targeted 1-B Of course, they could have changed their mind but that also sounds very strange to me. None of this is definite, there just are a lot of holes in this progression and I'm not sure what exactly happened that night. I have suspicions that I was the target for the Elim kill and multiple people targeted me/the ship I was targeting. Potentially Fura is an eliminator/Traitor who's plan got messed up by a Lightlance, or they're just a villager who got redirected alongside me due to whatever reason. The more I'm writing this the more I think of the latter honestly, Furamirionind. There simply are too many holes to make a solid judgement and perhaps pursuing Fura in a lynch for potential information is too rash. I do believe a Sart lynch would benefit us however, they've been playing incredibly strange all game, they've only posted 7 times, 3 of which are irrelevant. They repeat themselves twice in these posts. Both of which are very strangely worded and the focus on Gunners is a little too obtuse. Early lynches only favour Eliminators and Sart's inaction has been very eliminatory in my opinion. Then there's this funny post where he talks about inactivity...and I believe a lightlance is responsible for the lack of an elim kill. He claims to be suspicious of people with low activity levels, when he has directly ignored all my discussion about him and has himself been incredibly inactive. His vote on gaea is meaningless and as a whole it is, again, a fluff post. He hasn't contributed much all game and I do believe there is a strong chance of him being an Elim. Maybe they're the traitor, looking at this post; Which if one's being cynical directly preys on the misunderstanding surrounding the Traitor mechanic. If he turns out to be Traitor, then we know to shoot him up during the night. If he turns out to be elim, then yay for us! If he turns out to be villager...then well I don't mean to be harsh but. No big loss. Sart. Also @Mailliw73 I keep seeing you lurking and would love to hear more from you. -

When?? I can't find a single post of you talking about targeting and shooting down 1b? And Shooting down?? It never went down my dude, clearly, it didn't. Sart still seems to be inactive and at this point I'd rather lynch Fura and see what information can be gathered from there and then move on. Furamirionind -

Also I targetted 1-B last night but...apparently I destroyed 2-B? I'm not sure what 2B is, did the names change based on the turn? EDIT: Okay nvm turned out I just got redirected and hadn't seen a ship called 2B before. I'm assuming Fura destroyed the ship I was targetting before I did meaning they have a ship faster than a Poco... -

I'm putting my vote on Sart, based upon all prior messages and the fact Sart seems to be ignoring anything referring to him- as if just because he's not the focus of discussion he can hide in the shadows. I still stand by my belief that he really hasn't contributed much to the game and if anything has just been a broken record. I didn't really read this thread that well- just got back from Canberra and I have an art assignment due tomorrow (yay). But I should mention that I was piloting Poco-4 as Poco-1 had taken too much damage for me to risk flying her. And indeed, I assume someone used an IMB on me since my shields were blown. Perhaps @Furamirionind targeted the krell/me? Maybe he's Elim and he masked targeting me with an IMB with a claim that he was targetting the krell but was actually preparing the way for a Gunner to shoot me down while my shields were down. Maybe someone saved me. Maybe I should be thanking someone. That someone, I thank you. But also that's just a theory- a game theory. Right now here's my v sus list: Sart, Furamirionind (did I spel that right xD) and Joe in the bush (I'll talk about Joe when I get a chance to) But yeah I'll look through the thread again tomorrow night and give some solid analysis. -

Huh okay, bard raises a lot of good points and I'm willing to believe his mistake about mixing up health and damage. I'd analyse more but I'm exhausted. -

I shall target 1-B again- and will require assistance. Yeah, true, he could be a sniper. But he specifically told me that by him telling me he could take down a Krell on his own, I would know what ship he has. However, no ship can take down a Krell on their own- unless you're a Gunner. Hence my leaning towards there. And just for clarification- M-Bot rose but the Sk wasn't lynched? So there's no SK win-con activated yet? In which case neither Stick or Devotary is the SK? -

Wow you guys really did it hey. At least now I'm for sure considering Sart to be an Eliminator. And I do believe Bard pretty much confirmed himself to be Elim to me. Query- we can target M-bot and destroy it potentially correct? Will destroying it kill the SK as well? -
Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight
Darkness Ascendant replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@MrakeDarshall I'd say vote on bard as opposed to Joe or Stick, I think he's the most potential eliminator right now seeing as he claimed to be able to destroy an entire krell ship on his own. Also! I forgot to mention- to the mechanic out there, Poco-1 could do with some repairs. -

Well yeah, I am annoyed at Sart. More so annoyed at how he's yet inactive still. That's fair, I'm just poking fun I would have messaged you cept I wasn't sure if you'd have responded during the night Promise to tonight I ask this because @Young Bard told me they could handle a single ship on their own during the night. I was going to wait until Sart responded to vote on him but that seems unlikely now. However, with the information on Bard I think it may be more useful to vote on him. Bard @Mailliw73 does that count as something interesting? -

Yeah, it points out that the Elims found her (? Is devotary female, never knew they were) threatening. My guess is that the Elims are either inexperienced or just not willing to take any risks with this game. Wow Sart thanks for adding absolutely nothing to the conversation, ignoring my query as to why you voted on Cadcom instead of Ark when you wanted to lynch someone, making a ridiculous point about Stick which is absolutely unfounded oh right, We need to lynch Gunners you say? Isn't that what you said last time too. No ship sherlock. Weird how both Sart and Ark are distinctly inactive whilst continually attempting to start lynches. This is called Calculated Inactivity- a prime elim technique to stay out of the limelight. Cept if they're elim they're doing it very badly. Oh and "That will probably change"- that is probably not true. Ya yeet. I'm a changed man. Equally chaotic Just with far more refined style. Why aren't you opposed to a Stick lynch? its reasoning is ludicrous and the parallels between Ark and Sart's behaviour is a little strange. Personal headcanon is that Sart could be the SK (does the Sk know they're the SK before they get lynched?). If not then just a really bad elim. yeah and same deal with @Mailliw73, I thought you'd be more active than this man come on! First game I've played with you and this is the show I get of all the legends passed through the ages. Yeah, I don't like how Sart's reasoning is that thin. Also what ship would be able to take out a single Krell target on their own? -

Heads up- I'm going to be in Canberra for a Symposium thing for the next 3 days and will be a little inactive sorry. I like Dev's plan, still going to leave the co-ordinating through PMs thing up for later. Might require more precision and direction sometime who knows. For now I'm going to be targeting 1-B. -

Darkness Ascendant replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Actually, scratch that- Everyone contact me with the ship you've been assigned to. I've already gotten contact with a few people and i reckon I could co-ordinate the attack on the Krell fairly easily. Good thing to note that since they are a common enemy- trust is irrelevant. Responses within the next 7 hours will be appreciated (since I'll only be able to be active in time to co-ordinate by then) -

Calling all Pocos! Yo all Pocos! we will be Pocoyo What Pocos think they look like: What they actually look like: (Sorry I couldn't help myself) EDIT: Also @Steeldancer what are all these slug references? -
Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight
Darkness Ascendant replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay just for clarification: To destroy the krell ships we need to target them using 1A-1J? In which case we all should state what our ships are so we can co-ordinate our attacks on the Krell. Also- Did Furariomind retract his vote on Ark? To my understanding, there's still1 vote on Ark. -

Ah I see, true however the chances increase in my opinion with enough deducing; I'm not as suspicious of you anymore but I'm certainly suspicious of Sart and would like to keep an eye on him. Yeah true, its been pretty sad and quiet. The night turn *will* change this,we will have a write-up to give us information- this also extends to the solid information given (Who was killed, who was attacked etc). Well yeah, I did start the discussion way earlier- I suggested making a Poco Network (Which I am still very open to so all Pocos PM me!) -

Darkness Ascendant replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yes I agree late game, but not with turn 1. Turn 1 lynches are harmful to ourselves only. The Eliminators serve to gain far more from a D1 lynch than the villagers ever could. We are not giving them a free-kill tonight but denying them 2 free kills. The probabilities of hitting a villager is far too high. Also if you could respond to my Edit of the post above that would be appreciated You also didn't respond to my questions regarding Stick: You've posted far more than her and have actively engaged with lynch discussion etc, following your own logic you should be lynched today as you would give the most information.
