Long Game 40: Ashen Rebellion
Darkness Ascendant replied to Droughtbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
(This is slightly out of order >.> misformatted) Sorry @randuir, won't let me quote you >:| Ok, so in this post; I didn't put a house war into consideration because as I said; " perhaps we should consider this as a normal Elim vs Village game". This all relies on cooperation, consideration and I feel stupid saying this, but a little honor. And keeping them unknown does not keep the Skaa in focus. How many of the houses here have been keeping tabs about who's in which house, and have been trying to find informaiton on that? All of them, and each bit of information that goes into the House Docs that Skaa can see is more information for the Skaa, and less for the people who are no in the doc, which is primarily why I wanted the information to be shared, as the Skaa already have. And giving everyone this information can stop the fact the Skaa have it being an advantage, as it becomes common knowledge. And as for the even distribution of skaa. That is the most logical course of action. Oooor...... You could be a sneaky skaa who is trying to stop the Villagers from gaining access to the information which allows a one up for the Skaa in one form at least. Rand, you're a logical, rational human being. You don't make illogical assumptions such as an uneven distribution. And both Asterion and Arinian, who are under suspicion, voted on @Megasif, who I admittedly haven't been looking at so am not confirmed about his villagerinessisization. Your posts this game have been giving me off vibes, usually you are the one at the centre and driving discussion, and where you are still making lots of tl;dr posts (look at me...) none of them have had the execution they usually have and it feels that even if you are making this large posts of analysis, you are still sticking to the sides a little. I agree with this, if this is true then the Skaa are much more disadvantaged, and there is no point in me sharing my half baked idea as it would just give them more information. "The way he's promoting". I mentioned it. Once. I was tossing the idea into here, yes, it was half baked but it made sense to me, if everyone had been willing to accommodate and cooperate with it (anyone who wasn't a Skaa) (And you're the only person who is really looking into my idea, trying to oppose it ) Oh that was disbarred, part of the miscommunication, I had thought that Kyrian was a Skaa kill, and well, Alv is a Noble so, unless there is another atium misting who happens to be Skaa (which is not probable). So, @Megasif, you wanted a lawyer? Well I'm just going to go through your posts for some context. As @TheMightyLopen said, yeah this lynch does indeed feel easy, almost as easy as a lynch on me would have been (Which Asterion and Doc attempted to start). He also brings up that ; Which is amusing, on the topic of easy votes. I have gone through them, and Megasif, yes, he has been doing a lot of random voting etc but he's also been inactive and fairly flitty, and none of his posts have really been "serious" so to speak, unlike the one above. Which just makes me think Megasif to be a villager that is attempting to create some fun and maybe a little chaos, but overall is trying to enjoy this game in a way that he doesn't have to go deeply into it, which is similar to how I have played in the past (which may make my thoughts slightly biased, but I think they make them more reasonable and help understand his activity) Asterion, might I remind just how flitty you've been with votes this game? This post just really makes me cringe. No, no you thought I was an elim. Or, like I think it really is, you thought I'd be an easy target to drive a lynch for. So, you say it was just a pokevote to soft clear me, but now you contradict it here saying you thought I was Skaa? Please make up your mind. Not any more pshh This my dear children, is what we call hypocrisy. All I see is a tied lynch under me, one which Asterion has surprisingly taken a part of. And Lol, so what was it again that stopped you from being suspicious of me and more suspicious of @Megasif? So you explain it easily by confusing us more? I haven't overly paid attention to you before Arinian, I have appreciated your input before in games but seriously. Did they really say that. Amusing how confident they seem, considering that none of us are. And I agree, Megasif is probably not an elim, so why are you voting on him again? Care to explain why you are voting on him? Unlike @TheMightyLopen, I believe that all three of them, Randuir, Arinian And Asterion could well indeed be Skaa, I am less suspicious of Arinian and Randuir as I am of Asterion however, as like I said before, we both happen to be in the House and interactions there have given me bad eliminator vibes there as well. All three of them have expressed suspicion on me, who as I said before am an easy lynch, perhaps after lynching Megasif (should this lynch be successful), would most likely draw back to and attempt to get me lynched at a later date. All three as well spoke about my confusion as the reason for suspicion, which is all well and good if it weren't for the fact that I explained it all already. Not to mention all three now are voting on Megasif, perhaps to get a tie with the Asterion lynch, perhaps not. Either way they all seem to be going for the easiest target as of now. Now look, I'm no ace attorney @megasif (won't let me ping you), but given the circumstances and the fact I believe you to be Noble, and Randuir, Asterion and Arinian to be taking advantage of your playstyle and carelessness. Would you care to throw your vote on Asterion to tip the lynch, and any other Nobles should consider voting on Asterion to get that "margin of 2 votes" please- 548 replies

Long Game 40: Ashen Rebellion
Darkness Ascendant replied to Droughtbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Jax chuckled softly, of course, despite showing clearly that he had not been paying attention in the first place, here people were attempting to bring him down for it. Yes, his own inability to bring himself out of his mind was indeed to be his undoing. "Galen, that's your name right? First of all, do not refer to me as your friend, that I am not," he rubbed his eyes, he was not in the right frame of mind to deal with this, unless of course...yes, it didn't matter, he had to clear this up. "No, you are not in far from the truth, I have been trying to pay attention to this game, believe me, I have been trying". Jax sighed and drew a deep breath. "Above all, I value duty, strength and loyalty. I am a man who hates potential wasted and miscommunication. You are right Galen, I am indeed guilty, not of treason but of disservice," Jax uttered quietly, taking his hat off and kneeling before the nobles before him. "In my defence, there was much miscommunication within my House. We only had tabs on two members of the Third House, one whose role we knew, and one who happened to be Alvron. After telling them about what you told me at the Ball, I assumed they would send the order in for Alvron, our only confirmed House 3 whose role could be of Seer. I'm not an idiot, I knew that whoever had killed Kyrain had burned Atium, my mistake was not paying attention as to who was who," he rubbed his eyes and looked up holding Galen's gaze for a moment. "I must thank you, for I am most certainly paying attention now," Jax grinned and rose with a flourish. "Nice little set up you have here, jumping on people's weaknesses...like predators. What can I expect of us nobles asides from a little predatory instinct however?" Jax looked around at the nobles bemused. "Ah that's right, organised hunting," Jax looked towards the man who had first professed the same accusations ( @asterion137) "I have to say, you seem to be quite quick to stab family in the back, and all the more amusing as I cannot for the life of me even recall your name. Curious, I wonder how long you have been infiltrating our House, Asterion." Jax stepped towards him, "Don't take it personally, this entire thing stinks of unseen coordination, curious at how aggressive people can be, jumping on the most convoluted of reads". --- Actually, I just can't be stormed with this game. I've been trying, RP really has just been mildly helpful, but I just can't. Please go ahead and lynch me if you want, one less thing I'll need to worry about, not that I've been worrying about this game, but I have to say my inability to get into this has been extremely frustrating for me.- 548 replies

You should perhaps engage them in discussion generally, get to know them etc, might be difficult at the start, but they will respond. I also recommend high doses of sarcasm and snark in response to patronisation should the above not work. -

Long Game 40: Ashen Rebellion
Darkness Ascendant replied to Droughtbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So, I don't really know where to go with this game, I haven't been paying much attention to it, just really been peeping in every now and again. Anyhoo, so we're not really getting anywhere and well, our primary objective is to crush the Skaa right? And since the Skaa most probably have one person in each House we assume, I think that to maximise cooperation and get the Skaa, who are the primary objectives, perhaps we should consider this as a normal Elim vs Village game, just with a bit more apprehension and lines drawn. As the Skaa are available to information on all 4 of the Houses (we assume), it would be a good step for each House to come forward with their members, and information which is considered important should be said in thread, except for BR's House, as we assume there was only one Skaa in their house (and we know who is in it now anyway). It has come to my attention that Atium was burned the night Striker died by House 3, and Atium was used to kill Striker. Due to this, a person in my house submitted an order to kill Alvron, believing him to be most suspicious (sorry @Alvron). I'm unsure if this information can be trusted now that Alv is found to be an Atium misting but; Any other Atium Mistings that are found in House 3 can be safely confirmed to be Skaa. Those who can scan, should consider targetting House 3, perhaps coordinating who is scanned to stop doubling up? --------- The sky was red, much as it was most days, but today something was different. For through the ash, Jax could faintly see proper clouds, preluding to a cold, rainy day. He sighed and walked out into the streets. The people of the Final Empire were restless, more Nobles were dropping dead with each night, and no Skaa had been found for a while now. The skaa however, the ones that worked in the streets were curiously varying in demeanour. Some actually seemed happy, others wore grim expressions, Jax wasn’t entirely sure whether they were behaving differently from before this fiasco, admittedly he hadn’t really paid them heed. The dying left power vacuums and holes in the system, which many younger, ruthless nobles were both eager to cease, and fearful to die for. Jax remembered being much the same, however in a far different situation. With nobles dying left right and centre, and mysterious Skaa infiltrators leading the vanguard for a possible Ska uprising, tensions were higher than they had been for a long time. Jax was annoyed, the young ones should be rising to the occasion and helping their Houses, rather than sitting back and watching the chaos unfold. Of course, in the end, it was every man for themself. And Jax unfortunately was no better.- 548 replies

Well, I looked over Drake's actions and compared them to the rest of the thread's there wasn't much similarity really, I guess his business left him to rush decisions and such, as a couple of the things that he said came off a bit weird in retrospect. Don't really have much to say, someone PM me or something. I'm bored and my character is up for RP. Speaking of him, maybe I should get some RP down. (Also, reminder that peeps should try and keep their RP clearly seperate from normal blatherings ---------- In confusion, lack of thought and information led to reckless behaviour. And so did being sleep deprived. This, he thought, Is definitely reckless, slowly sipping his drink without a straw. Jax felt dirty. They say that sin washes away repenten-he had gotten that mixed up hadn’t he. Jax rubbed his forehead and sighed, he had no idea what was going through his head nowadays. He had gone to a ball the night before and had ended up zonked out at some table, the ball providing a brief respite for him to catch some sleep, if only because noone else had been there when he had arrived, and that had remained so until he had crashed. When he woke, he had woken to silence. In the peace he had forgotten everything that had happened, forgotten even who he was for a few precious minutes. It was glorious, he had walked around the empty ballroom stuffing his face, uncaring about anything. Of course, then he remembered the diet he had forced himself to follow rigorously for the past few years. Yes, he definitely was a dirty man. Then, he had exited the ballroom to find the people, you guessed it. In uproar. Four more were dead, one of which was a skaa, Well, that ruins my theory...unless it’s more convoluted than I thought it was already.- 548 replies

That's kind of what the Elims want to do Well, so this is kind of difficult to go through (Btw, sorry for being inactive past couple of days, been busy). There does seem to be a lot of RP.. I'd like to ask that everyone keep their RP in another colour, or spoiler perhapse for ease of analysis. Not bluetext to avoid confusion with OOG talk. So, Drake was lynched N1 and came out to be a Skaa eh? I should go over his stuff and see if anyone has been doing similar things. @livinglegend Also strikes me a little suspicion through their use of ninth letter of the alphabet. But they're new and I think it's just a settling in thing. Also slightly suspicious of @TheMightyLopen, however their vote on Drake eases that. (Btw I'm just typing as I'm catching up on thread xD) Randuir is leaning Villager to me as they expressed suspicion of Bugsy giving valid reasoning. Do @asterion137 and @cloudjumper Know each other irl? Votes are being thrown around a lot as well (D1), l'm tired and don't understand it entirely, and will be looking at it closer later, maybe one or two elims were pushing for a draw, but weren't enough. Reading through more and Lopen is more Villagery to me yes. I feel as though Bugsy was the Elim kill, in an attempt to push suspicion on @Alvron (Keeping in mind everyone agreed he was NAI, unless of course, he's just trolling ), as Bugsy expressed suspicion of him last turn for pushing for a tie, and has been quite active as well. I'll be ISOing Bugsy and Drake. Also slightly suspicious of @BrightnessRadiant, Just a general gut read. Anyway so those are my thoughts, I'm tired and ceebs RPing. Will try and get that stuff down by tomorrow hopefully. Also, That Ball was great fun aye @Doc12, I was asleep at the third table if you didn't notice.- 548 replies

Jex inevitably could not fall asleep. The Houses were still buzzing with energy, an infectious energy which jumped from spire to spire, through windows and floorboards. An unseen, unheard and unbeknownst crackle that swept through the Final Empire. And Jex was there among the muddle, not quite in the thick of it, but sort of in the edge of it, close enough to see it all and hear even more. Whispers here and there, a rumour or two, most of them were farce and useless, just the Nobles attempting to stir the hornet’s nest here and there. But one constant undertone, a buzz if you will was always around, and Jex would often find it in the most interesting of places. Here beneath the feet of Infinity There we toil, slaves of divinity Working, working, waiting, baiting Our time shall come, blood pulsating Once, forgotten, a freedom shared Now, in fear, we lie ensnared. Down, and out, from under and in. Change shall come, but only from within Working, working, infiltrating Soon to come, blood pulsating Jex rubbed his forehead, the whispers were everywhere, intruding, and ultimately, annoying. The uproar in the Court merely made them echo more and louder however. Clashing and reverberating, creating and sowing more chaos and confusion. Something needed to be done. Even if only so he could have a good night’s sleep. --------- Sooo, here we are kiddos. Time to eat metal and do magic stuff! Or well, for some of you. Others I am saddened to say people, we only have our minds to use. You know what we Houses should do? We should like, not fight. And work together to find those wretched skaa stopping me from sleeping well. EDIT: OH And my character is up to RP with y'all, I'm hoping to get a dance with each and every one of you during the balls My dude's quite the flirt, but keep him at arm's length- 548 replies
