  1. It comes down to the outnumber wincon for me, but I suppose others might not have the same perspective. Especially with no exe on D1, it’s a bold strategy that inherently puts them even further behind That said, some people did bring up possible reasons (like anticipating a White Fox), but that’s some big brain stuff that I don’t believe I would have thought of (given how I hadn’t until I read that) So idk. Maybe I’m just hoping Also, as asked: My limited TJ thoughts essentially boil down to Not paired with Archer (voted because he didn’t vibe with Archer theorizing about a larger elim team and stayed) Most likely E in a V/V/V C1 world given expression of suspicion of all three and minimal wagon movement + brought up an interesting point about e!Archer setting rigid conditionals +/- liked his take on my VitC discussion participation, although somewhat wary of that being a pocketing attempt Which is basically to say that I he’s a lower priority exe than Archer, who has more working against him than for him, but I’d look at him (and Araris similarly) if Archer flips V. Don’t think it’s likely TJ and Araris are paired given they voted Archer together Will say I ended up rethinking Araris’ call for vote transparency C1 and worry if that came from an E!Mindset. Forget who it was that said how much stress anonymous votes put on the elims, but I hadn’t thought about that until today I believe there was someone else who made a similar post too, idk who but same idea of VitC bad don’t do it Village (It was not Illwei though, I liked her reasoning for it and she has other good things going for her) @Kasimir
  2. Ah. I missed that (I assume it’s done calculating the percentage of each player combined?) but I’m not a maths guy so doesn’t really compute to me. Definitely possible, but that would require the elims not submitting the kill, which I find even less likely than the 5% chance, tbh a Kas simultaneous N1 Protect and Kill makes more sense imo, given your C1
  3. Should be able to pass the Dust tonight and any future items I get, technically. But I’m willing to die to protect an SE with Bones. Personally don’t think elims would refuse to kill and Kas’ Insanity still needs an explanation.
  4. I’m not denying, no. I had no idea since I didn’t take an action (C1 Silver Dust worthless) and only just found out I was roleblocked from Elan’s announcement that I can’t act today either
  5. I still don’t v!read Mat post wise, but I moved him to the top of Mixed in case he did eventually claim protecting you. Now that he’s claimed to not have protected, he’s probably somewhere in the middle of that section. Mostly because it really didn’t look like anyone but Archer cared to save him and they look unpaired to me. I’ll have to read C1 again for the posts that made me squint (forgor already) so I’ll get back to you. Alv’s mostly vibes. I liked his first post responding to me, looking back on it. Second sentence has to do with remembering my playstyle enough for me not to dupe him, which I feel comes from v!Alv, since I was mostly known for being a scary elim back when we played a lot together. JNV is basically Null+ because it always hurts to vote them but I have no real read of them yet, other than D’aww ED1T: Lots of mistakes. Sorry. Had to edit
  6. Even if I live, I can’t thieve a Pallid Mask today. I’m taking Ls left and light
  7. You probably have a firmer grasp of this game, so I’m inclined to agree, having not thought too much about how the specific e!roles/items might shake out. Well there goes my theory lol. Thought Mat was the Shade Expert and he didn’t want to claim too soon because he had no bones left =\
  8. Oh I should probably claim too. I’m a Thief that started with nothing. D1 I found Silver Dust, so I think it’ll go to one of the people who votes me.
  9. FTR, don’t blame you or anyone else who votes me o7 I’d do the same in your shoes. Sad tho Well, for y’all I won’t have to figure out what actually happened
  10. I actually wouldn’t be surprised of 2-3 Village, don’t know about elims. Main reason for that is multiple Thugs is a decent way to balance a larger elim team, given the outnumber wincon is tough for elims to close out (from my experience). Larger e!team also helps them not get ripped apart by Wrath of the Shades. I had been thinking about this after rereading Archer presenting that theory, if with less reasoning, C1. The fact that Shade Experts can only successfully block once of another decent excuse for a larger number. No indefinite protects.
  11. Was just about to respond actually I have a theory about a Shade Expert that protected you, but I’d rather not out the person I think it is if I’m right. If they do claim, I’d appreciate it, but don’t mind them keeping quiet and me dying today tbh.
  12. Alas, I didn’t take any action last night. Sorry you just claimed =\ ED1T: Devo moves up to Probably Village. Very small world any elim makes that claim.
  13. The main thing with Mixed Feelings is a lot of those players have a wider range of interactions, especially in conflict with each other. For example, TJ and Araris are extremely unlikely to be paired with Archer. The only thing I really flagged for you was the retraction from Alpha after Kas and I voted him, but that fell apart when I realized you didn’t understand we were calling him Aloha. Otherwise, I haven’t seen anything that made me go “That’s a villager.” It’s basically my null pile. That said, am curious to see who you vote. Was about to vote Devo myself but went to reread a few posts again, and I kinda like this Sart take. I finally have a firmer grasp of the rules and what could have happened last night (everybody thank Kas), so I want to ruminate for a bit.
  14. Reads Bucket More trusted on left, less trusted on the right. Won’t Blink is black since while I don’t mind either dying, there’s not a lot of content to go on. As such, would rather exe in my Mixed Feelings pile, as I feel they have the greatest likelihood of producing further leads. If you want to know why anyone is specifically where they are, let me know. It’s hard to take notes on mobile so most of the reasoning is just in my head, but I also don’t want to waste hours typing it all out at once
  15. Ashbringer (2) - Matrim's Dice, Illwei Matrim (2) - Sart, Araris Araris (1) - Archer Alvron (1) - Ashbringer Devotary (1) - DeTess Almost caught up. Will post again and vote in a bit
  16. X ✪✪✪✪✪ “Brilliant Service. Near impeccable timing. Would highly recommend to all ADHDers who struggle with time management. #PATAMON4EVER” <KEEPMESUBBEDUNTILTHEDAYIDIE>
  17. Someone please remind me (not shortly after this post, but tomorrow :P) to start thinking about this game again tomorrow. Had a really solid writing day and am now ahead of my schedule for the week, so I shouldn't have any excuse. Thank you <3 g'night o7
  18. Fair probably worth saying I actively decided to take the night turn off due to the lack of a flip taking the wind out of my sails. And now it feels like it's D1 again Also I still haven't grasped the rules tbh; all the percentages and complicated explanations for what could explain the lack of an NK are kinda melting my brain rn lol Curse you Uncertainty >:(
  19. I thought I'd wake up less confused, not more >:(
  20. Just some playful banter no need to Poutamon Anyway slep now, will make sense of this tmrw
  21. Am I crazy for saying I want all three dead to save me the headache? More seriously, I don’t know if I would have kept my vote on Mat if I knew he’s a Thug. Am currently wondering if that led to his coolheadedness when I put him in the lead. Hadn’t felt one way or another about him up until that point, but the tie hadn’t changed for a while and I wanted to see if exe pressure could squeeze anything out of him. That all said, I would have liked it if he claimed bones before he lost them, so we could at least factor that in >> Lack of flips is discouraging, and if v!Mat, NK padding would have been nice. Minimal wagon movement near the end seems to suggest no one other than Archer cared to intervene, which is interesting because Mat’s vote stuck to Archer when he could have self-pressed on DeTess and Archer’s vote had landed on Mat several times. On reread, it feels a little too aggressive of a D1 distancing strategy to me, as well as overtly uncoordinated, but could be V/E. To me, Archer looks the worst of the two. That said, his final vote did remind of the game we just finished’s C1. He’d been suspecting Stick for most of that cycle and in the end when he came to getting ML’d, he initially refused my suggestion to self-pres on Stick because “he’d lost his appetite for it.” Possible cold feet or read development was a factor again, but he’s on my list of people to vote tomorrow. DeTess seems fine to me, for the record. I hadn’t remotely suspected her last game, but in this one she feels more cohesive, for lack of a better word.
  22. Welcome Illwei genuinely happy to have you! Been too long
