  1. I will defend the Lopen in every deed I will eat all the Chouta that i can see I will offer my expertise to a cousin in need I will be the best Gancho that I can be
  2. Another description of a stoneward is that they are amazing fighters and their surges will be for fighting (haven't seen yet). And we all know what lirin thinks of fighting. No, if Lirin is a radiant (which I highly doubt) he will have the surge of progression because in his mind you cannot kill to protect. The problem with becoming radiants is they have to have strong traits in one area, if they have a lot of traits from the different orders they just wouldn't become a radiant. If anyone is going to be a stoneward it is Rock (look at his name). He is dependable, trustworthy, stubborn and a very very good fighter (Look at his bow skills and his fight with Kaladin). If you look at Rock's cooking you can see that is not where his strength lies, his strength lies in fighting (and he enjoys it). I believe he was a 3rd son (forget which son does what) which makes him a fighter but his older brother died which make him take on the responsibilities of a second son (aka cooking). If given a little backstory and development I believe Rock could become a very strong character. It seems to me that people are drawing connections out of thin air and trying to justify so many characters becoming radiants and i have to disagree, it would be way to cliche for every somewhat important character to become a radiant. I believe that most new radiants will not come from the characters we have now (were will the squires come from). And the only reason I think ROCK will become (or is) a STONEward is because Sanderson has made so many hints towards it and the way he writes about Rock just suggests that he will become important (and who wouldn't love a giant in shard plate? with a hammer?). It would just be nice if people stop saying so and so will become a radiant, because they usually have no proof and if they do its a very flawed argument.
  3. If you look at the definition of cohesion it means 2 similar objects are united (simple def), could this mean that cohesion just makes one object like another (properties wise). For instance you could bind a stone to your armour so that it would take on the properties of stone and be stronger (lets say you choose the properties for now) or bind the ground to water so that enemy will sink and when the stormlight runs out it while turn back to rock. I know its a bit of a stretch of definition but if you look at all of the abilities and what they actually do you will find that it doesn't always completely match the definition.
  4. The traits I have suggested are not just based on im not just basing them off of rock, most of them seem to be traits displayed by the horn eaters. And we know these traits by either Rock's story ('s?) of his people or references to them. But yes i agree some of these traits could be only rock's and while it would be cool if Rock became a stoneward, sanderson would have to do a little bit of background on rock and give us a reason why Rock would start fighting ( because stonewards definitely fight).
  5. I felt that the parshendi should not of been killed of in the way they were. The parshendi were a very interesting group to learn about and it would be great if we learned more. when the rebel parshendi escaped into the chasms in WoR I hoped beyond hope that they would come back later in the book (could sanderson still bring them back?). And Eshonai, If she stuck around and recovered from storm form she could of become a very interesting main character (could she still?). But I feel that bringing back the parshendi is to late and it would be cliche if they survived and made an appearance later on in the series . Could the spy parshendi that are spread throughout roshar band together to keep a remnant?
  6. The Lopen is not full of arms. The Lopen is full of DELICIOUS CHOUTA
  7. May the herdazian henchmen be ever with you
  8. SPOILERS It seems like there was quite a bit of detail in WoR of the Unkalaki people to suggest that they will become important in the near future. Could this mean a new character from the Horneater peaks? The Horneaters are very loyal, trustworthy, stubborn and good fighters (depends on which son) as we can see by rock. All of the traits of the horn eaters seem to match the traits of the Stonewards. There is also the fact that the horn eaters are desperate for shards which is why they send their fighters against the Alethi's Shardbearers. As we know the horn eaters have never won and it would be an interesting story if one of the Unkalaki actually won (and stonewards would fit because they are known to win against the impossible). This would also give an opportunity for further change in the princedoms and hired (not really) muscle for the Knights Radiant. Its obvious that the Knight's Radiant needs to recruit, and it would be interesting to add a Unkalaki. Plus a stoneward Horneater would be a friggin' beast!! Any thoughts?
