I'm not going to comment much on this, but the review said, "The worldbuilding of Scadrial is important to events, and for you cosmere buffs, there will be plenty for you to love here." I think that answers #1 fairly well.
I'm going to be very strict about answering questions, though. You're welcome to ask them, but I probably won't say much. After all, the fun in reading is often seeing something unexpected. This may or may not be relevant to your questions here, but if something were to be unexpected, I wouldn't reveal it, and if something seems obvious, I also wouldn't reveal that either. That's why the review is generally nonspecific. It's a tough line to walk.

I want to know what can be more terrifying than an immortal gunslinger, theres a lot of things, of course, but what exactly. The wait is killing me and I am not getting the book until the 8th XD
I realize you are not going to tell me, but do we get any new Metalborn and information about the magic systems? Like ferrings we havent seen or maybe a nicroburst? (Im just setting you up for another RAFO moment, Im nice like that)
