Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It would be ridiculously overpowered. That's half the reason I'm worried that the eliminators might have one. I agree, it does seem unlikely that they would have one, but... *shrug*. Either way, I'm assuming your plan involves the guardsmen not revealing themselves, right? So what happens if the eliminators do have a guardsman, ignoring for the moment that it seems odd they would, considering that it could possibly give them a kill as well.- 911 replies

Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
At this point, I have to agree with Wilson. Revealing roles in any situation means that a player could be targeted for a kill by the eliminators. In this case, the eliminators also have the chance to corrupt their targets, meaning that any player who gives their role could then have it reversed, and used against them. We'll probably be better off with discretion, even if it means we don't have a good idea of what the eliminators might have for roles. Also, you're asking the assassins to kill inactives. Sure, it might vertfy that the assassins are villagers, but I'm seeing two easy problems. First, that one of the eliminators is an assassin, and participates, leading us to trust someone we shouldn't. Second, we might play into the eliminators' hands, if they happen to all be active. In that case, the assassins would end up killing villagers, and miss a bunch of eliminators.- 911 replies

Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Winter Cloud, I thought that your profile page said that you were on about, 9 hours ago, I think. I can't go back and check now that you are on because, of course, your profile will now say you as being active right now. It's entirely possible I read the data wrong, and you hadn't been on since the cycle started. I've been wrong before. Or, if you left the page open, it triggered my view as being online, and that's why I thought you had been active. Of course, it's also entirely possible that I was right, and you're now trying to discredit me by placing a vote on me. I have no idea. I'm hoping that my removal of my vote will help because, to be quite frank, I'm poke voting people. I want to see discussion from the people who had been silent, and I thought poking people who had been on would be better than poking people who haven't had a chance to see their roles yet. Winter, I'm not accusing you of being an eliminator. Believe me, I've had bad reactions to seeing my name come up when I've been away from the game for a while, and this is only my second game. A smart guy, thanks for dropping on in. I'd probably have dropped a vote on you sooner rather than later, because of trying to get discussion from other players. At this point, I'm not going to drop another vote on someone, because I really, really don't want a repeat of this. Edit: And since I forgot to say this earlier, Winter, thank you for coming on and posting your thoughts. Each piece of information helps. Edit2: You said that "I've said nothing with as many words as possible." I can understand that view, especially since I do tend to post a lot of my thoughts. I tend to just say what I think about the game, whether or not it's completely helpful. To me, saying what I think, and then seeing how others respond helps me learn the game better. At this point, we haven't had a kill or lynch, so we can't work off of that. We've talked about role distribution, and I've given my thoughts on that, but I feel that others who have played in games with roles, which I haven't, have a better idea about that then I do. Really, there's not much more to go off of than those, other than the extra vote on Wilson, which, again, others have a better idea of what that means than I do.- 911 replies

Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Wilson, thanks for jumping in and explaining your thoughts. I agree that revealing roles at all, whether publicly or in the PMs, could be dangerous. Any role revel gives the eliminators information about whether they should or should not corrupt someone. Ripple, I hadn't even thought about the Worldsingers. In that case, a lynch with a solid lead (at least two votes more than any other player) would be better than a tied lynch, especially since I would be surprised if the eliminators didn't have a Worldsinger. It seems like the kind of role eliminators would have. At this point, I think the real question is if we should try and lynch an inactive, under the grounds that they aren't helping much even if they are a villager, or if we should lynch someone more active. Trying to lynch someone active would probably give us more information than lynching an inactive, but also takes out a player who's helping more if we miss and get an eliminator. Edit: Haelbarde: Nice signature.- 911 replies

Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Last game I played, Shallan didn't come onto the website until after she was lynched, Day 1. It's possible that something similar is happening here. I'd think there was some connection between her being inactive and her being an eliminator in that last game, if it weren't for the fact that it was clear she hadn't even read her role before she was lynched. Not saying that she is or isn't an eliminator, since I have no idea, just supposing based off the only game I've played with her. Wilson, will you be posting soon? I think this is the third time I've seen you reading this page since the game started.- 911 replies

Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay, it looks like a lot happened since I was on. About Day One lynches: it worked in my previous game, but I think the most important thing about lynches is gaining information from them. In QF9, we ignored a lot of information about the other players voting (ie Wyrm leading our voting habits), but each lynch left us those clues. Truthfully, I think that we gain more information when we manage to lynch an eliminator than when we hit a villager, though future games might change my mind on that. The important thing there, though, is hitting an eliminator, which means missing a few times and lynching villagers instead. That being said, deciding who to vote for, and whether to go after active or nonactive players can be difficult. At this point, I feel that going after people who have on but having been talking is the best strategy. Wilson has viewed this thread a few different times and hasn't posted, but I'm not going to put a third vote on her. Both Winter Cloud and Bort has been on since this game started, and neither of them have posted anything. There's probably others like them that I missed, but I'm going to place a vote on Winter Cloud, because I know she's played in more than a few games, and I'm wondering why she hasn't come on and put her thoughts in. As for STINK, I'm sort of uncertain at the moment about him. I've played Town of Salem too, but in that game the turns last seconds, not hours. Often, lynches only happen when someone has seen a role simply because there is not enough time to talk it out and find information. Using the same strategy in a longer style game could be dangerous. At the same time, though, I'm not ready to place a finalizing vote on him. We'll see how the rest of this cycle goes. Edit: Looks like STINK removed his vote. I'm still not going to lynch anyone with my vote. So, vote stays on Winter Cloud. Edit2: Vote change.- 911 replies

Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm kind of wondering what some of the more experienced players are thinking about the role distribution, at the moment. Any ideas about likely mixes might be helpful, even if we can't tell if the roles were completely random or not. I should be back on in about, 10 hours or so, to check up with what's happened. I'll probably add some rp when I sign back on, as well. I'm not going to vote for someone, mostly because I have no idea who to vote for, and I don't want to start a bandwagon. Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Kipper, I kind of saw that in my last game. I think part of the reason I lasted so long was because the eliminators were targeting the more experienced players. I just didn't think it would apply here, but if we're looking at 5-6 eliminators and 7 special roles plus Brightlord and Shardplate, probably at least one of them is a regular Brightlord. So, the vote probably came in from people afraid of a stronger player as an eliminator, or the eliminators trying to manipulate the vote to help get rid of a stronger player. Maybe both. Though, along those lines of thought, it also means that there is probably a couple roles that the eliminators don't have at all. From a quick look, Artifabrian looks less useful to the eliminators, and I would doubt that any of the eliminators would be given Assassin and given an extra kill each cycle, but that doesn't mean they don't have those roles.- 911 replies

Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I've been watching this thread for most of the day, but I don't really have anything to add. Once we get to the point of voting and having data to go off of, I'll be increasing my activeness. On that note, it's looking like I'll be awake during the last hours just before the end of the cycle, which will be a nice change from the last game. I'll be able to more active during the final, and possibly most important, hours of the game. I won't be very active during the beginning hours of a cycle, though - that's when I'm sleeping.- 911 replies

Raven coughed. "It's complicated. It's more than he recruited me...or I recruited myself. Not too sure on the details." She paused, then shook her head. "That doesn't answer your question, though does it?" If Ien was here, he'd be frowning. "So I guess the answer to your question is yes? Sort of? We're partners. That counts." A voice off to the side causes her to turn, and she smiles at the newcomer. "We're talking about books, and Bortholemew. He's off somewhere again, I think. Anyway, Stormlight Archives are my favorite books, but I also enjoy Alloy of Law, and Warbreaker. Always Warbreaker. You?"

RP Character Profiles
RavenRadient7 replied to Lightsworn Panda's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Current name: Raven Pseudonyms: Ri, Resha, Gender: Female Original name: Unknown Faction: Knights Awkward Position: Forumlurker and seeker of Shardmarks. Backstory and History: Raven is a bit of an enigma, even to herself. She awoke in a corner of Somewhere, and managed to find her way to the Library of the Knights Awkward, where she swore their oaths with no idea of her own self. Her bond with her Awkwardspren, Ien, has helped her gain a sense of self, though neither are sure if her current personality is the same as her old one, or a imprint of the previous Knights Ien had bound to. Her attempts to find a world that seems familiar to her have failed, though she has traveled through much of the cosmere that she is aware of, and her fragmented dreams have been no help. Recently, her presence on Nalthis introduced her to a fellow Knight, Bortholemew, and he recruited her to his quest to find the missing Shardmarks. His quest has grabbed her interest in a way that even her disturbing dreams have not, and she joins Bortholemew, worried that his quest leads to danger for him, her, and their Library in a way that neither of them can predict. Powers: Foretelling dreams, paper manipulation, and disguise (in a mixture of Lightweaving and shape-shifting). All three seem to be granted to her by her spren, Ien. Weapon(s) of Choice: Defusing situations with her words. If forced to fight, she prefers to animate paper creations and let them fight for her. Likes: Stormlight Archives. Reading in general. Traveling. Her fellow Knights. Dislikes: Tripping (even though she does it all the time). Forgetting. Bullies. (At this point, I'm sort of leaning towards her being from the world of the book that Brandon Sanderson currently has titled "Silence Divine." Of course, we don't know a ton about it, so I'm leaving myself open for some options for when he writes it, if I can fit it in with Raven.) -
Mid-Range Game 8: Highborn Intrigue
RavenRadient7 replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Far away from Brightlord Dalinar's camp, out on the Shattered Plains, one spot seemed to lose sunlight for a brief moment. Only a moment, before the light came back, along with another figure. Raven looked out along the Plains and sighed. "Colors, this can never be easy, can it? No, I have to actually walk into camp, rather than just appear there." The paper crane sitting on her shoulder coughed. "Raven, careful. We're on Roshar now." "I know that. You did grab the safehand, right?" Ien huffed, his beak opening and shutting without a word. Raven took that as a 'yes,' and opened her case, quickly pulling out what she needed. It wasn't too hard to add in the safehand, as cumbersome as she found it, and it wasn't that hard to lighten her eyes. Name and identity, though, that was harder. "Any suggestions, Ien?" "Ryna?" She glared at him. "Not funny. How about...Rese?" He snorted. "No." "Resha," she decided. "Resha, lighteyed scholar of chickens and other Shin animals, and her..." She dug back through her case and pulled out a book. "And she always has her notebook with her." Ien unfolded and folded, taking on a form closer to human. "Raven..." "Resha," she corrected. "And you almost got caught last time. In the book with you." Ien scowled, but unfolded and floated down into the open book. Resha quickly shut it, and stuffed it back into her case. "Time to make my presence known, meet new people, try and track down Bortholemew, and not get killed. Again. What fun." Second game! I'm excited to play, and looking forward to how both the roles and the longer format plays out. I'm joining as Resha, scholar of Shin animals, secretly a Knight Awkward planning to aid Bortolemew in his quest.- 911 replies

Raven read the note, nodded slightly, meeting Bortholemew's eyes. "Agreed." Turning away, she tried to stand up, only to trip over the table that was conveniently placed there. She winced, then stood properly, opening her hands to reveal a paper crane. "Ien, the disguise kit please? Make sure it has a safehand." The paper crane nodded slightly and flew off as Raven glanced out over the Library. "We do have new members," she muttered, then raised her voice. "I haven't been around recently, so I might as well reintroduce myself. I am Raven, Forumlurker, and Stormlight obsessed." She spun around, almost falling over. "Hey, er, Link-costumed guy. I'm afraid I missed your name. What's your favorite book?"

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
RavenRadient7 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
As soon as Bortholemew left, Raven - not Ri, not any longer - turned to Ien. "Funweaver killed me?" Ien huffed. "Apparently. I told you not to trust anyone." "You told me not to trust my priests. I thought Ke would finally figure everything out, and kill me." Raven sighed. "Instead it was just the Rebels..." Ien managed to look shifty, even though his current form bore no face. Raven frowned. "Why weren't you with m at the end, Ien?" "Ke found Ri's journals." Raven leaned back, stunned. Ke found Ri's journals. Ri's journals, not hers, though she had taken on the name. Her dreams, courtesy of Ien, had led her to Nalthis to begin with, dreams she thought foretold the God-King's demise. Mere days after her arrival, thugs had conspired to remove her, and it was only Ri's sacrifice that allowed her to live. She had taken Ri's name and position, disguising herself as the Returned in hopes of preventing her visions, but Ri's own dreams held mentions of Raven herself. If Ke had found those, then Ke knew the truth. "She will not cause you trouble now." Ien said, his voice flat. Raven swallowed. "I'd take knife wounds over anything Ke would have planned. Thank you." Ien only cocked his head. "What will you say to Bortholemew?" "Did my dreams warn me about the God-King, or a much greater danger?" Raven whispered. "They're not mine. I cannot speak to them." Raven sighed, looking down at her hands, no longer another's, but her own. "Then I doubt I can blame him for taking sides in this matter, any more than I can blame myself." Raven stood, making sure to grab one of the discarded veils. Her case lay beside her, and she carefully placed the veil inside, as yet another reminder of her journeys. Then. she walked down the stairs. Bortholemew stood waiting, but she held up a hand, stalling him from speaking. "You may have aided the Rebels, and I may have watched over the God-King, but the possible danger to our Library is a far greater threat." Raven took a deep breath, as Ien landed on her shoulder. "I hold no grudge for you, fellow Knight. I simply ask to be able to aid you in your further attempts to safeguard our home, and help track down the Shardmarks you spoke of." She held out a hand. "Partners?" Wyrm: So...next game I need to die, but win, seeing that in this game, I survived, but lost. Phattemer: I just went back through the posts, and I found the one where you put Bort, Wyrm, and Vauhsoj together. Almost immediately afterwards, Wyrm accuses you. That's when I started getting suspicious about Wyrm, by the way. I'm thinking that notes might have allowed me to put together the fact that you'd actually gotten all three eliminators right, or at least given me a place to start after you died and were proven innocent.- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
RavenRadient7 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I wrote up a huge long post during last cycle to post after the game was over, and now I have even more I want to say, so I'm going to paraphrase a few things. Thank you, Meta, for the compliment. I'm looking forward to playing again! I enjoyed this game a lot, but I think I'd enjoy longer games better. More chance for talking. It was a lot harder to keep my comments neutral than I thought it was going to be. I'm going to have to keep that in mind. Notes would have made this game so much easier. I might have even caught that phattemer was after Bort/Vauhsoj. I did not suspect Bort or Vauhsoj at all, really. I don't even think I voted for Bort at all this game. They completely slipped past me. Wyrm, you had me guessing the entire game. I would suspect you as an eliminator, then you'd say something, and I'd second-guess myself. Even at the end, I wasn't completely sold on you being an eliminator. Well done. Very well done. By the way, were you really just poke-voting me, or would you have tried to lynch me if I hadn't defended myself, and you had gained a following? That could have totally changed the outcome of these events. If we had had another round, I was going to accuse Wyrm, Jerric, and Lopen of being eliminators, vote for Wyrm, and then watch the chaos. Probably a good thing we didn't go on, in that case. Finally, there's something that I think most players missed, considering how everything played out. In the first round, I ended up being the deciding lynch to vote Shallan, and then everyone seemed convinced I was innocent, because of that. Fact is, I actually thought Shallan had three votes on her already, and I thought I was bandwagoning on the lynch. I didn't correct people afterwards, because it worked in my favor, but that's why I went after Venture so much in the later rounds. I missed that his vote didn't count, and I didn't want to let up on that point. Bort, I'm going to write up a reply to your roleplay in a bit, but I need to figure out how Raven is going to respond to this, and tie in the last bit of background I had about why Raven was on Nalthis in the first place. Will you be continuing your quest in later elimination games? Because I think you might have a helper. Edit: Oh, and, since I made it to the end, can I count this as a "survived" if I ever write up Sanderson Elimination stats like some people do? I mean, it wasn't like I was lynched or killed mid game or anything...- 271 replies

I'm planning on posting a longer post later, sort of looking at how the game went and what I could have done differently, considering it's my first game and all, but I don't have the time right now. I can't wait to read the Doc, though. Wonder how everything turned out...- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
RavenRadient7 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I hate it when all the discussion seems to happen during my night cycle. At this point, the vote is for Orlok, and I don't have the power to change that. If he is an eliminator, we have a chance. It is possible that he is an eliminator, especially in light of some of his recent posts, though I am not convinced. If he is not an eliminator, then we are in dire straits. Wyrm points out that it would depend on if Jain is an eliminator, but I think it really depends on if we can actually find and come to a consensus on who is an eliminator. If we can't, it doesn't matter if we have the majority or not: the eliminators can both jump on whoever someone has targeted, and we've lost. At this point, I'm not changing my vote, simply because it's not going to make any difference, save widen the gap between Wyrm and Orlok. It's nothing personal against you, Wyrm. If Orlok is an eliminator, then we can look for clues in his voting choices that suggest his and his teammates' strategies. If he is not an eliminator, then we're back to square one, and the eliminators probably take this game, even if we do have a slight majority (assuming Jain is one).- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
RavenRadient7 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Wyrm, my last post actually implies that Vauhsoj or Bort, especially Bort, sort of fall under the same "should have been killed by now" statement that you say has been pointed at you so far. I'm not disagreeing with you - it is a common accusation against you - but considering how you were the saved target last round, and I think Bort was only on one list, he might have been a better target than Alvron. I would like to hear more from Lopen myself. He is playing off of the idea that, as a new player, he's mostly just watching and learning the game. I can understand that theory, but he's not one I'm watching horribly closely at the moment. The problem for me is that I'm having trouble figuring out who to vote for just from what they've done so far this game. If we can lynch another eliminator this round, we can work backwards from who they've voted for and who they've supported, and try to figure out our last few targets. Without that aid, we're left to just judge based on words alone, and clearly that hasn't worked out great so far. Again, I'm leaving my vote on Wyrm for now. Wyrm, I doubt it's going to stay on you this entire round, unless everyone else suddenly decide to place votes on you, but I have no idea who to move the vote onto, and I'm going to wait until I have a better idea of who I think a good target is. Perhaps not the best decision, but as you've said, everyone else has signed in, expect Jain who really seems to be out of the game, and I don't have a better idea of who to poke.- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
RavenRadient7 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Like I said, I apologize if I seemed a little aggressive, Wyrm. From the way you pointed out Alvron's comments, I did take your post as an indication that you were trying to get my lynched, and not as a poke vote, as you apparently intended. I'm not quite at a point where I'm willing to take the vote off of you, mainly because you are the person who I am most suspicious of, and I haven't seen anyone else who's made me suspicious of them. I will admit that I thought that your changing of tone, from calling me "fairly innocent" to placing a (lynch) vote down on me was very suspicious, so I'm less suspicious of you now than I was when I first placed my vote on you. As Jerric said, we need to lynch an eliminator today. We know that the eliminators have been active, considering that they've been choosing targets. By this point, I would have suspected that myself, Wyrm, or Jerric would have been killed by them. However, it recently occurred to me that the last two lynches had Adamir's intention to sacrifice himself for one of the other players hanging over it. Both Wyrm and I were on those lists multiple times, which might have led to the eliminators skipping over us, and choosing another target. Jerric was on another list as well, I believe, and I don't think either of the last two eliminator kills made the list. I'm not saying that it's making me less suspicious of you two, but I am taking it into account. Considering what I have said above, I am interested in hearing more from Vauhsoj and Bort. I'm not willing to put a vote down on either of them at this point, especially since it might confirm a lynch, but I don't remember either of them being on the lists more than maybe once, and Bort especially might have been a good target for the eliminators to remove, rather than the other two kills, who were both more inactive. I'll be on for maybe another hour, and then I won't be back for another, oh, 8 to 9 hours, I think. I should be able to manage at least one more post, if not more, before this cycle ends. I rarely have dreams, but when I do, they're vivid, slightly creepy if they're not full-out nightmares, and never repeat. I never get recurring dreams, and I can probably count the number of dreams I've had on my fingers. About a year ago, I had a really, really odd dream. It started out with this older couple, who I didn't recognize, sitting down in front of a TV. Maybe a couple of other people, I' not sure. They had gotten some sort of tape, and they were planning to watch it. They put the tape in, and the TV started doing all of those creepy horror movie-type things: static, creepy voices, strange lights. There was some voice-over explaining the meaning of the tape, but I don't think I could understand it. Then, the image cleared up, and showed some sort of pyramid. The dream then switched to looking down on the people by the pyramid. This is the part of the dream I remember the least, which is probably a good thing, because I'm pretty sure it was a bunch of people exploring the pyramid, but in a horror-movie kind of way. The most vivid part of the dream was the ending, though. After going through the pyramid or whatever, it switched back to the couple, who were freaking out over the people who they were watching - they knew some members of the group, I think. Then, the dream drew back a little bit, showing that the couple was watching the TV in a public park, in the middle of the picnic area. Me and a friend were sitting at a picnic table just a little ways a way, and we're listening in on the couple, and I turn to my friend, and basically ask, "Are these people family of yours? Because they have the same last name you do." And she's basically like, "I have no idea." Then the dream ended. It was really odd.

Heirs to the Final Empire: Roleplaying Thread
RavenRadient7 replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Inactive RPs
Dust swirled throughout the study as Ryna swept in, her husband Tiver right behind her. So far, only the desk had been brought up from her old Keep, and the emptiness made the room appear bigger than it was. Tiver sighed, leaning against the desk as Ryna settled into the chair. "I told you the Keep wouldn't be ready for another few months, Ry. You didn't have to come up so soon." Ryna shifted the papers on the desk, scowling. "I thought you married me to bring this House up out of ruin." Tiver glanced down at the floor. "Well, yes..." "We can't avoid Luthadel forever. We need to make our impression now, before your House is swallowed by another." Tiver fell silent, and Ryna frowned. Neither of them had agreed to their marriage: Ravir had needed her father's money to buy itself out of debt, and her father had seized the opportunity to place his daughter into a possible position of power." She softened her tone. "The world is changing, Tiver. The Lord Ruler has placed his Catons above us, though he refuses to phrase it this way. We need to adapt with the world." The silence stretched out too long. She sighed, and looked away. "The fighting here worries me." Tiver scowled. "The Lord Ruler has decreed no more wars between the Houses!" "No more civil wars, Tiver," Ryna said, searching through the papers on her desk. "But they would be more than willing to eat a weak House alive, and the Lord Ruler wouldn't do a thing to stop them." "No, we need to show that we're not going to allow them to walk over us."- 868 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
RavenRadient7 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Alright, we need to vote someone off, who needs to be an eliminator. Jerric, I came to the same conclusion that you did: we need to vote out an eliminator this turn, or it's likely that the eliminators will win. I'm removing my vote from Vaunsoj, due to the fact that we need to remove an eliminator, and I don't have enough evidence to decide one way or another with him. Wyrm, I'm going to need to call faulty comment on your last statement about Alvron, considering his last vote was for you. In fact, I don't believe I've ever been voted for, though I could be wrong. As for your comment about him trying to point out the Shallan as the eliminator's trying to remove an inactive eliminator, he did do so, but he voted for Adamir, not me. In fact, I at the time argued that his vote on Adamir didn't make any sense, because he should have voted for me if he truly wanted to call out someone for lynching an inactive eliminator, because I was the last person to place the vote on Shallan. At this point, I am inclined to believe that Wyrm is an eliminator, because I believe that he should have been removed by the eliminators prior to this point in the game if he was not, because this is the second time he's openly accused another player of being an eliminator, when the first turned out not to be one, because he's slipped up in his facts in an attempt to get another player killed, and yes, because he's trying to lynch me. I'm willing to admit that fact. I'll admit, my decision to put pressure on Adamir was not the smartest choice I could have made. I was frustrated with how he had claimed he would sacrifice himself for another, and didn't that first round. I was giving him a second chance, but making it clear that I didn't want to see him "forget" again. Then, of course, it turned out that he was a Returned, and his loyalty was confirmed. It's not the first mistake I've made this game, in my opinion (focusing on Venture, a clearly inactive player, was the first mistake), and I doubt it will be my last. To wrap this post up, I'm going to say that, as a fellow new player, Lopen, I can understand why you might want to stay back a bit and watch more than play. I think I'm learning more by being very active and saying what I think, but everyone has different styles of learning and playing. Thank you for replying to my semi-poke. Edit: Color Edit2: I noticed that you did mention that Alvron voted for you at the end, so that wasn't a faulty comment. Still, I don't believe he ever voted for me, so that is still a faulty comment. Feel free to correct me, if you can quote it. Edit3: I apologize if I seem a little aggressive here. This is the first time where I feel like I have a solid reason to vote for someone, and I'm trying to ensure all my points are laid out, especially since Wyrm has mentioned previously that the people voting for him don't necessarily have the best explanations. Edit4: I had to edit this post way too many times. Anyway, it's looking like I'm going to miss the next, oh, 16 hours or so of this cycle. I'm hoping to be able to get on, if briefly, in about 8 to 9 hours, at least to check in on what I missed, but I probably can't put another post up until later. Hopefully, we'll figure something out.- 271 replies
