You make a good point Kobold King. Cosmere copycat is an offensive term now that I think about it. My apologies to those writing stories inspired by Brandon's work. I meant no offence. Keep bringing your awesome stories to the world guys and gals.

Abney Park mostly. Their new steampunk stuff though. Not a terribly big fan of their goth stuff.

I love to death the Johannes Cabal series. They're fantastically witty and deliciously morbid. Anyone else a fan of the titular character of some little infamy?

Danganronpa 2. It's a great game once you get into the mysteries.

I'm gonna start watching an anime called Zankyou no Terror soon. Anyone else seen it? Is it worth watching?

I like both of these ideas, but personally I would prefer to see something along the lines of MIstborn: Birthright, as in it's set in the same world, but a completely different time period. I'd like to see something along the lines of when the Knights Radiant were kicking around during a Desolation. Create a character, choose an order and help save the world. It could expand on the history of Roshar some more, and let us see what life was like for the citizens of Roshar thousands of years ago.

*Note* If you don't know what the cosmere is then...surprise! It's a thing. Research it and have your mind blown. So I was wondering, has a cosmere type book series been done before? With different stories on different planets that don't seem to be connected, but are actually just smaller parts of a greater story? Also, do you think that this will start a trend in the future? Will we get cosmere copycats trying to pull the same thing Mr Sanderson has done? What are your opinions on the universe Brandon has created? On another note, I'm new here, so I was wondering what the proper way to address our Beloved Author is. Is it just Brandon? Mr Sanderson? Yog-Sothoth? Also, was my title click-baity enough? ;-)

Though I've seen others being advised against taking a welcome cookie...I'll gladly take one. As long as it doesn't result in pain/beheadings/financial ruin of course. Coz that wouldn't be very nice.
