Ok I am looking over the game now and it looks brilliant!  One question I do have that I hope hasn't been asked is, how many actions do we take each cycle/turn?

2- Vote

3- Choose what to study

Has anyone else not received their doc link? I have no idea which faction I am in at the moment - I might have been bribed last cycle, but haven't got my doc to check. Anyone from Heritage, is my name in your doc?

You know, once discovery members are spooked (or even just suspected) they are fairly useless. You can feed them false info, and they can't do anything about it. They can only influence the lynch vote for someone that another faction is already going for. I don't get what the obsession about wiping them out is all about.

 

You know, Wyrm and PK have brought up some very compelling points.  I think we should just forget about the Discovery Faction and the fact that they can spy on all of the different factions and have the final say on lynches.

Haha, I will confirm what Eowyn said.  Hael and Clanky are no longer a part of our doc.  I sent a kill order on him last cycle, so I am assuming that he has one life left.  Would everyone like him or Clanky to be the target of our lynch this round?  

Neo sat on a rock overlooking the townspeople.  Over the course of the past few days, they had become a divided people.  Not just in theory, but as he watched them, Neo could see three separate groups.  Sure, every once in a while one of the members of the Glory faction would slowly make their way over to the Moderation faction.  Or someone in the Moderation faction would whisper about a member of Heritage and Neo would wake up the next day to find out they had been killed.  He didn't know quite what to do.  Only that he was Moderation.  But what is Moderation?  He was starting to think certain members might not be as committed as he was.  Hael was his main suspect.  In All Virtues Temperance.  His parents had taught him-

"Neo?"

Warm shivers came up his spine as he turned around.  He would recognize that voice anywhere. 

"Hey Pixie", he replied.  His voice always sounded so dull around hers.

"I'm headed to dinner with my faction.  You shouldn't be out here alone."

"uh...", he muttered.  Before he could answer she smiled and walked off.

Neo watched her walk away.  He wasn't sure what he'd do if she turned around and saw him staring at her.  As she hurried past Moderation faction, something else caught his eye.  Hael was staring at Pixie as well.  But his eyes were dark.  His brows were pointed down.  

This night would not end well.  Neo knew what he had to do.

Bort, do you have anything to say on kipper's claims?

Wyrm is being successful with his trolling. If you know why Wilson didn't suspect pixie or paranoid king, let me know. You don't have to disclose roles, but tell me if the reason was ironclad.

Also, we aren't targeting kipper. Your choice if you do or not. If you wasn't too have your striker join us, we're targeting Clanky. Neo, would you target haelbarde? That way, if glory does attack or same target, we won't have 3 attacks on a 2 life target

There were 9 original members of Discovery: Mailliw, Jain, Emerald, aonar, Seonid, neo, haelbarde, clanky, and orlock

 

Mailliw, Jain, emerald, and aonar are cleared by virtue of being dead.

 

Orlock was scanned publicly by Adamir, clearing him.

 

I am cleared by my role, which you are aware of. That leaves only you, haelbarde, and clanky as possible Discoverers.

 

And we are almost completely sure that there were 2 per faction, so there is a 66% chance that any of the three is Discoverer.

I see.  So it is down to Me, Hael, & Clanky.  Well, instead of killing me, why don't you let me prove myself by killing a member of the Discovery?  

Bort, I have come to the same conclusions regarding the original moderation faction discoverers, although I was going to wait to announce it to the thread until we were sure which of the three was innocent. Adamir is scanning haelbarde this round, and so we should know for sure next round.

With regards to the original heritage faction, I can confirm dow, but we aren't able to confirm eowyn, phattemer, zephrer, alvron, or shallan.

We have even less info on glory, but I suspect that Wilson was close to the truth, if not right on, so that leaves you and kipper (we believe zas has been cleared), and kipper is the more likely suspect.

We should coordinate striker his on discovery suspects. We're planning to hit kipper. Next round we'll be much more sure of the suspects in our faction. I advise a hit on either clanky or neo, as there is a 66% chance that either of them are discovery, and a 100% chance that one of them is.

 

How have you narrowed it down to Clanky or I in Moderation?  I haven't even been able to do that yet.  I am happy to reveal my role, as I don't see much of a reason not to at this point.  I am a Moderation Forger.  I can prove it by targeting someone this cycle.  If you can let me know how you are 100% positive that either Clanky or I am Discovery,  it might be convincing enough to take out Clanky.

Another great game!  I would love to play as Neo, a young blacksmith's apprentice who is currently under suspicion because the blacksmith has disappeared.  

You guys have every reason to lynch me.  I was sure of Dow.  Anyways, I'll put my vote on Clanky for now. 

I am that certain, because I know with certainty that I am a villager, so for Dow to take this much of a campaign against me, can only mean that he is CC.  I hope you are CC peng, because you are voting away the chances of the villagers to win the CC right now.  Also, Alv, I hope you feel better friend!  This is just a game, so don't feel bad if you can't spend adequate time here right now.  I'm assuming you aren't CC, because that would be a low move for the CC to play.  Anyways, get feeling better!

Of course I will!  I am 99.9999999999999% sure he is!  He will say the same thing though, because even if he gets lynched tomorrow, if I get lynched today that's one more villager down.  Enough of us gone and the cc will be able to do whatever they want.  Get ready for a manipulative, misleading post from Dow.  Mine was short, simple, and straight to the point.  Can't argue with facts.  DOW

Joins Zas again to try and lynch another innocent villager.

 

Dow has not contributed anything to the game, period.  He hasn't jumped on any of the voting bandwagons until he knew that there were enough villagers gone that he wouldn't be called out.  He has been the perfect member of the CC, quietly avoiding too much attention until he feels safe enough to come out and stir up lynches.  He needs to be our number one target today. Dow 

Well it looks as if I'll be lynched today.  One more passenger lynched.  The coinshots have done a great job at getting us to lynch ourselves and are winning this game.  At least this day will provide valuable information of who to lynch tomorrow.  Good luck!

That seems like quite the bandwagon that has jumped on me in the last few minutes.  With fewer villagers left now, it could be much easier for the CC to control a vote.  As to my accusations:

 

You accuse me of playing different than other games, but I have really only played 2 games (Didn't get a chance to pay much attention to the last QF)  You accuse me of posting just enough to get by, but I have been accused of that in both of the other games.  Truthfully, I am more of an analyzer of what others post than posting long analyses of my own.

 

If you all don't lynch me today, I will pay to be in the caboose every cycle until the end of the game.  That way I can still contribute as a villager (and we don't have many left), but prove that I am not CC by being role-blocked.  

 

I do not want to be lynched, and I think that (Orlok) Shallan is looking suspicious.  Who better to immediately speak up and become our "appointed" assassin director than a CC?

Well, I didn't win. But that means I can almost definitely get the Assassin this time. I'll still take suggestions, but it's probably going on Jain right now.

Here I am!  So I am wondering, was the assassination bought by someone who thought Meta was CC, or was it the CC?  Obviously, if no one comes forward, we will assume that it was the CC.  I just wanted to know if someone bought it and targeted Meta without wanting to announce it in the thread, which would give the CC time to buy a medical kit for him.  I am in the process of reviewing the thread, but for now, I will place a vote on Orlok.

I don't think that Alv is necessarily suspicious after reading back through posts.  I just wanted to see a post from him.  For now, I will be placing a vote on Jain, but watching closely to see how everyone acts closer to the end of the lynch.

Sorry, I was going off of your player name and got confused leftinspace.  Alvron, I haven't seen anything from you yet.

I spent some time going back in time to see what posts Lady Eowyn and Joe made, since they are the ones that have been targeted.  There is almost nothing to go on from their posts, but I will post what I found so that none of you waste any time doing the same.  

 

The Only Joe put a vote on Araris and didn't call anyone else out.  They are both dead, so that doesn't help us much.

 

Lady Eowyn voted for Adamir, but said that she wasn't entirely sure about Adamir.  She also mentioned that Bort could be CC trying to direct suspicion towards Adamir.  

 

I need to go through more posts, but I would like to hear from Leif Erikeller, just one of several people who have not yet posted.  I think it is very important for everyone to be active and posting, because that is an easy way for us to catch CC members slipping up.

True Bort, but they can't know whose in the vault car unless one of them is in it, so they may end up wasting a kill if they target someone in the vault. If everyone posts who is in which car, then they already know who is not in the vault.

 

That is exactly my point.  But it's up to you guys.  I know we don't have a lot to go on this game, so I might just be reaching..

So I probably didn't make it that clear but I was able to be active at the end of last station because I couldn't get out of town like I planned. Their was an accident on the only highway that goes in the direction I was supposed to be going so I got stuck. My trip is now delayed a day which means that for the rest of this station and the next I won't be very active but I will post when I can.

 

The reasoning behind my questioning of Ren about his placement of people in cars was to hopefully be able to use the unequal amount of people in cars as a way of seeing if anyone payed to stay out of the caboose. I would expect the CC with the kill to try and avoid the caboose in that cycle so they don't get role-blocked. However since with the method being used insures an equal player division that method won't really work as good as I had hoped. I don't really have any other ideas but hopefully someone can come up with something based on what I was hoping to do.

 

Another thought I had was that the occupants of the caboose should be posted at the beginning of every station so that we can not only discuss lynch targets but also who should be role-blocked. I am in the caboose again and here are the occupants this station:

Wilson, Jasonpenguin, Bridge boy, Clanky, Lady Eowyn, orlok, Aanwolf and Burnt spag

 

I will be putting my vote on Neo for now in case I don't get back on before the rollover. He posted twice last station but didn't have very much content.

     Thank you for the callout.  I have not posted much content because, as there has only been 1 day, I am trying to figure out what content should be posted.  After reading through the original rules again, I don't believe that we should be posting who is in which train car.  Here is why:

1- The CC are not limited to killing someone in their car, as was just confirmed by Ren.  If someone dies in 1 car, it does not mean that the CC are in that car.  

2- Let's say that ALL of the CC end up in the same car.  They are limited to knowing who are in that car.  They don't know who of the remaining players are in the vault or the other cars.  We are giving them free targets.  

 

Also, I am going to go with yesterday's strategy of calling out people whom have not yet had a chance to post.  With that said, Orlok, I'd like to hear from you.

Symmer Ghetti, thank you for your contributions!  Also, I haven't seen anything from Bort yet.  And after reading the Cultist docs from LG12, I at least have to poke you a little bit.
