    Bio
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Jaden enlisted in the military at the tender age of eighteen, and at the very end of his career he retired as a Staff Sergeant with thirty confirmed kills. He retired with his body incapacitated in a warzone, via a frag grenade detonating six feet from his face. His miracle to be alive become less miracle and more curse when Jaden was in a hospital for nearly a year, and was expected to stay there until he passed away. Even with three surgeries his bodily functions were still flawed and his scars remained. Family stopped visiting, contact stopped. On the day of Calamity he rose, his body seemingly healed. He set off and for the year had dwelt in time in the Midwest. And at some point reported in Utah burying a town. The past is in the past and Jaden, under the name of H-Hour holds a small gang of Lesser Epics and men willing to stand with them.
    Jaden fought in the Iraq War as a U.S soldier and a Captain. He reached fifty-six confirmed kills before being sent back with heavy PTSD. He suffered in a VA bed with constant therapy sessions as he attempted to get used to having half of his face burned with the blast of a grenade. It was only months before Calamity when people stopped visiting due to his whimpering and sadness at every moment, generally just hell to be around. When the Red Star rose the pain stopped and his PTSD was pushed to the back of his skull. As most epics did when Calamity hit, they killed those that knew them. Jaden was gifted the ability to fully manipulate the sand around him and multiply it with time, along with the ability to shrink to the size of a grain of sand. He left New Orleans for two days and came back in a Sandstorm, his family and the hospital he was admitted to were destroyed.
    Jaden took the name of Aganju, the God of Volcanoes and Deserts in African Mythos. Once abandoning New Orleans in a thin layer of sand for a temporary legacy he headed to Pittsburgh during a high rise of Epics attempting to train their new found powers on each other, to the death. Aganju grinded from epics with the source ability of being able to not blink to epics with the power to blow a man's head to smithereens with a punch. During this set of training Aganju had combined his shrinking with a sandstorm to generally ride on a grain of sand to finally enlarge with a strike to the head, generally using this to play an extreme knockout game with citizens on the training streets of Pittsburgh.
    It was only recently after years in Pittsburgh did Aganju do so in a particular order. Steal a scooter and drive until it broke outside Columbus, walk the railway tracks to Cincinatti. Buy a ticket for a bus to Newcago, attempt to work as one of Steelheart's lackeys but hightail it to St. Louis. Caravan to Kansas city and bee line to the wreckage of Dallas. Board a train to San Diego and stay far the hell away from LA. Once Aganju reached the Mojave he simply sprinted across miles of sand from Nevada to Oregon and eventually slamming into Astoria. Aganju settled himself in Astoria soon after running out of sand.
    Alright, simple stuff first. How exactly does Material Shell work? Does it gather actual material to his skin, like ripping appart a house wall? Does that create an armor that could encumber him?
    As for the satellite manipulation, I don't think that one makes any sense as written. First of all, if my understanding is right (this is admittedly not my specialiy), satellites are inherently outside of the atmosphere, meaning "the ability to manipulate satellites in [the] atmosphere" is entirely useless.
    Even ignoring that part, earth's only natural satellite is the moon, so he wouldn't be able to grab any asteroids, especially not any large enough not to simply burn up after entering the atmosphere.
    For definitions sake, a space station also doesn't qualify as a satellite, on virtue of having its own propulsion.
    On a side note, how is he evaluating the data send down by the satellites?
    The Material Shell envelops him through and through with the material. Pretty straight fowards.
    Going towards the asteroids, you're right it will burn up. But getting hit by a flaming grain of sand moving at sonic speed is gonna hurt too. But considering that in the package comes a "long range telekinesis" in the atmosphere generally allows Dalton to put it on a glide around the Earth and allow a nearly full meteor to crash where designated, assuming planning has been laid out. But honestly, this power is going to be benched usually.
    As to man-made satellites he's looking over the data with his mind itself. No, he didn't get a super brain nor telepathy, but the Calamity abilities simply allow to bounce off nearby satellites and fire into his head. The X-328 planes are carrying Tungsten rods to drop generally as bombs making the ability not entirely noneffective in combat.
  4. Epic Name: Atmosphere
    Old Name: Dalton Denner
    Primary Ability: Satellite Manipulation
    Secondary Ability: Material Shell
    Weakness: Pffft. Do some work you bum.
    Personality: D!ckish, Generally rude for no other reason than to be rude.
    Gender: Male
    Weaponry: .45 Colt, Claw Hammer, "Refund" Smith & Wesson 500
    Age: 29
    Height: 5'10
    Weight: 210
    Ethnicity: Indian, American
    Hair: White and Dark Blue
    Eyes: Green
    Dalton grew up in the Inner City of New York graduating as an Ivy League student. While enrolled in New York University as a major in Astrophysics and Psychology. Somewhere throughout his attendance he had been wrongly accused of cheating on exams and thus sent out of the University where he was generally forced to take the low career of a mall cop. When Calamity struck, that changed.
    Gained the ability to shield his skin with the hardest material within fifteen feet of himself. Dalton gained the ability to manipulate satellites in atmosphere.  whether they be artificial or terrestrial. Weeks after donning the name "Atmosphere" and the people of Earth truly began to doubt their safety is when he started making demands. After a few small asteroids aiding him in the robbery of a bank leading to the management of hiring a team of Minor Epics to begin even more raids. With raids on museums of Space they managed to obtain weapons to further Atmosphere's strength. Obtaining the Soviet Almaz Space Station, Three X-378 Protoypes during a High Epic's raid on a military base. The X-378 planes allowed to launch of on airstrip. Though the Almaz took different matters.
    On March 12th 2016 Atmosphere and his team of Minor Epics. With the squad's lives sure to be risked in this suicide mission, Atmosphere had concluded to make them do it despite worry. With a day on their hands and very low resistance from the military due to the Epics controlling most of America meant only two of the six Epics died during the assault, the end factor of it being the Almaz being sent into orbit on rocket. Atmosphere then abandoned the Minor Epics.
    With four years in New York he made a "self made decision" to head to the West Coast (Also in part made after having a relationship with a High Epic's daughter.) Now with his alias of Atmosphere in full effect and the man known as Dalton presumed dead he was pulled into the Dalles' Human City with his network of satellites used for a full view of the country without the risk of sending scouts away for months at a time with the full risk of running into an epic on the worst day of their lives.
  5. So from what David describes his father as was kind, chill, understanding, and always nice to be around. Honestly who wouldn't like that guy? But he always describes epics as slowly losing sanity to the brink of genocide. So let's delve into the chance of what if Calamity happened to touch David's father. With his constant hope and cheeriness despite all that happened, his wife and mother of his child dying and his house being destroyed by an epic, and generally with a backbreaking job he still remained smiling. I personally think that maybe he wouldn't even have a problem controlling his abilities unlike Jon. Professor surely doesn't abuse powers but he certainly has doubts about himself.
