Get what you’re saying, but it seems way too much too soon considering how many Cosmere works are left to come.

The Stormlight Archive is in the latter half of the Cosmere timeline, according to a WoB that I found... somewhere... I do realize that there are many many books to be written still, but it could be that Stormlight is nearer to the end of the timeline than we thought.

Uh where you learn about Rock being part Singer?

Horneaters and Herdazians are part Singer. I just saw it in another thread, I don’t remember which, but basically Horneaters have extra jaw bones and Herdazians have carapace-like nails from a cross-breeding or something a long time ago.

I don't know if the unmade are analogous to the fused in the same way the heralds are to the radiants. The numbers don't add up, nor do the characters we've seen. For starters, three of the unmade are essentially mindless, only reacting to stimulus without conscious deliberation. They certainly aren't capable of leading and guiding in any orderly fashion.

As far as I can tell, the unmade are spren, and so they are not at all what the Heralds are to the Radiants. However, I do think that the Fused that are the leaders, like the one that bonded to the body of Venli’s once-mate, could possibly be similar to the Heralds, but for Voidbringers.

  4. It is true that we know now that Voidbinding in humans is possible, but do keep in mind that the majority of Skybreakers are also siding with Odium, so it doesn’t really mean that being ok with Odium taking over means it was a Voidspren bond. Also, Renarin sides with the Radiants, even though he is not one, so it doesn’t necessarily prove that Malata bonded with a Voidspren. Still, it’s possible...

But why do you need your license before you can read? What kind of logic is this?

I don’t know? My mom thinks it’s an incentive but the point is to reduce anxiety, not raise it through the roof. Thing is, it isn’t working out so well for me. Maybe she’ll change her mind? (I hope)

@Elsecaller3414 I probably saw you at Salt Lake Comic Con today; I saw two different Shallan cosplayers while I was standing in line for Brandon's solo panel. Is your hair on the longer side or the shorter side, and was your safehand covered by a glove or an overlarge sleeve?

I wasn't there yesterday, but I was there on Thursday. Though if you are wondering, my hair is on the longer side and my hand had a sleeve.

    I need a hug.

Heard on the news that some sick, twisted, complete cremhole garbage excuse for a human being went into a wildlife refuge in Hawaii and not only slaughtered but also dismembered 15 nesting Laysan Albatrosses, smashing their eggs in addition to the adults. Before the rampage there were only 300 of these birds left in the WORLD. They mate for life and only lay a single egg per year, so it's incredibly difficult for them to repopulate. 50 years will probably pass before the world population of Laysan Albatrosses reaches 300 again.

Wanna guess how the perpetrator is being punished? Maximum one year in jail, and his college, New York University, intends to let him continue attending once he's out. I am simultaneously furious and heartbroken beyond words.

Seriously though, the government has problems with this kind of thing; they just don't seem to understand just how IMPORTANT these birds are. Honestly, I'm a member of the Audubon Society, so this also makes me mad. *hugs*

  8. Have you ever had one of those dreams where you are sneaking food and you try to eat it but can't? For me, I was trying to eat a banana behind a rocking chair and couldn't because the banana kept slipping or something. Weirdest dream I have had in a while.

Has anyone ever dreamed from another person's perspective, as if they were that person? I've had two dreams of late where this has happened

This happens to me all the time; I also sometimes have dreams where I am someone else and I offend myself (as in my real self)... ;)

Do you ever read six books in three days and then look up and realize that all the people you spent all that time bonding with aren't real and their world isn't real and the real world is boring and you have to do homework?

Because that is a sad feeling.

I get that all the time!

Seriously, like I get so hooked in the book that it is hard to do anything else for DAYS.

So I absolutely feel your sadness there. Hugs?
