Same boat here not really into things like this but man they look so freaking awesome I may have to buy the painted set. I didn't realize I could buy that separately until I read through the FAQ.

Do you have an idea how much it would cost? There are spren all the time you've got to add. You can't even shoot on the outside, because they have a different ground and different plants. The buildings look different from out own, because of highstorm considerations. There isn't a single scene that wouldn't require extensive and expensive editing.

I've never heard of that kind of money being spent on a project like that.

At most we can get something animated, that would certainly be feasible - drawing spren would not be an issue in that case - but it's not quite the same thing.

Yes I fell like it would almost have to all be CGI. Taking the "Avitar" approach may be better or animated as you said. A good case to do Mistborn first since it is an earth like setting. Just need to CG the Mist Wraths, Ten Soon and some good makeup work for the Inquisitors. 

Man I just hope SA adaptation is held off for a bit. I'd worry that it would become a GoT situation where studios outpace the source material (although I have like 500% more confidence in Sanderson of making it work). Granted there is a ton already and with the in-world time skip the studio would get a buffer of 10 years of actor aging but you never know what can happen.

Very nice first thoughts. I agree with a lot that you said.

I've seen several people try to explain why Szeth was welcomed in and appointed Dalinar's body guard no less and none will convince me that this makes sense in the context of the book. I can see allowing him to fight in the battle they needed all the help they could get but is this redemption for assassinating Gavilar, killing several other world leaders and attempting to kill Dalinar? I'm not saying that this shouldn't have happened there just should have been something onscreen to make it believable in my opinion. 

I also agree it felt like part 3 really drug on. There were some good parts but it just lasted way too long and then Kholinar ended abruptly. Part 2 was good for me maybe a little long on some of the POV but overall I liked it. I would have gladly sacrificed some of part 2, 3 and even 4 though for a little more after the battle in part 5. Everything seemed ended abruptly after the battle with very little to no discussion between characters after seriously major events,

Felt the same way on the Moash chapters and sorry to say Venli as well. I barely cared about Eshoni if I am honest but liked her over Venli. I'm sure Brandon will do something to peak my interest in the next book at least I hope so. 

One other thing is I did not like the interludes nearly as much as I did the first two books. Probably because it was Venli. I liked the Rysn one and then the creepy one with the Soulcaster but that was it. 

Overall really liked the book but feel like there were some problems for sure and probably more than the first two books. 

Great vid! That one reveal about a certain place surrounded by water blew my mind. 

I cannot express enough gratitude to all that contributed to this. It is absolutely amazing. I have been using it like crazy. 

Well just when I thought I couldn’t get anymore hyped about Oathbringer Chaos ensues. 

From what I’m hearing we are finally getting to the meat of SA with the first two books setting the stage. I can’t freakin wait!!

Yep looks like a typo I think that is supposed to be Lord Mistborn on the Boxing the Ascendant Warrior is Vin on the Clip. 

These do look awesome though must get some!
