  1. Granted, but someone else comes out with the exact same theory 24 hours before you do, without your knowledge, and everyone thinks you copied it. I wish for the power to control people's attention at will.
  2. Can I make a tshirt of this for myself? I would totally wear this lol
  3. How about ShardArmor? Obviously, this already exists somewhat in the form of ShardPlate, but this would be literally indestructible....?
  4. I wonder if you could make an essence mark to pass yourself as, say, a government official? It wouldn't need to be a full essence mark, just something to change a core aspect or two about yourself. Great Assassin's tool.
  5. I know I would live in the Purelake. It sounds absolutely amazing there, with the calm highstorms, the shallow lake, the laid-back atmosphere... where would you live?
  6. The ability to stutter at the most inopportune times. :/ this is real life btw lol
  7. I suppose so, although it seems that too far of a stretch over time would be pretty implausible...
  8. Either way, it would almost undoubtedly be much less expensive to just buy medication instead of having a master make you an Essence Mark
  9. Hm. Good point. I can't come up with a rebuttal to that one.
  10. Definitely not... I read Emperor's soul long before I read Elantris, there is nothing that spoils either.
  11. Well, I imagine that souls coming in contact with other souls would, naturally, temporarily distort them in some way, but maybe I'm wrong. You could be on to something there.
  12. In Emperor's Soul, soulstamps were only used for forgery, beautification, or healing, but what other uses could there be? Could you take an old rusty sword and 'reforge' it into a brand new one? Or fix a roof that had fallen in? Or recover an extremely important manuscript that had been burned irreparably? Anyone have ideas? I think there are great possibilities out there! Edit: This would also be great for warfare. Soldiers could carry around pre-prepared mini stamps for their most important pieces of equipment; e.g. if your sword breaks, stamp it, it's as good as new. Any damage is instantly repairable.
  13. But why solid spheres? Not stationary droplets of liquid or bubbles or something?
  14. Granted, but now entire country (or at least the area surrounding CA) is completely covered in Disneylands, and, since there is not nearly enough people living there to run them all, they all fall into disrepair and California is forever known as the 'deserted state of the haunted amusement parks' Don't you just love when the boon is the bane? I wish to be effortlessly fluent in any language I desire, at any time, even dead languages, and that my bane won't restrict me somehow from speaking or sharing knowledge.
  15. I was just wondering, why glass beads, of all things? In just my imagination, it would be liquid, or maybe even gaseous. I've never seen souls manifested as solid objects before... (well, except in Stormlight Archive )
  16. Granted, but everyone who eats it will love it so much they become addicted. They will follow you around, begging for more of that excellent sushi, forever. I wish I could have a miniature parshendi army to do my bidding.
  17. Granted, but the Nightwatcher still holds a grudge against you. She rewrites the past so that you asked for a horrible, painful death. I wish I had a real, alive, larger-than-life onion full of minuscule pikmen that would follow me around all the time and do my bidding.
  18. Set Adolin against the Whitespine. xD
  19. Yeah! Think of that! a sharpened tripwire that would just slice through anyone who comes at you! You could also make it so thin that it would be almost invisible, because it would still be practically indestructable.
  20. I would like to see someone try to tame a whitespine. It would be hilarious to see them fail. (do you think it's possible? given that the tamer can stay alive long enough to do anything of course)
  21. Shardpickaxe? Easiest mining and construction ever.
  22. But chasmfiends might be more trainable then one would think. How would we know, all everyone has been interested in doing in the past is killing them. Maybe they are more like an intelligent dog, who knows?
  23. But the fact that modern-day Shardplate doesn't glow also ties in to that theory. The wielders are not Knights Radiant, and therefore have no color.
  24. Well, you wouldn't be afraid of him if you had Shardplate, would you? Weakness applied
