  1. Well at least they didn't come here to kill me. However that doesn't mean that I'm truly enjoying what they are doing. Clink sat tied to a chair in the corner of the room as the other worldhoppers sat around a large table arguing. After Clink encountered them at the Stargate (Clink still preferred his name to shardpool as he has heard his captors calling it) he had tried to run but to no avail as one of them caught him before he had got more than a few meters. Then they started interrogating him, asking Clink about some shard called Odium, if he was planning on destroying the cosmere and if he had killed their friends. They're crazy! What even is a shard? Also how and why did it want to kill everyone? All I was trying to do was see if I was being followed and now I'm being held captive by a bunch of maniacs! They don't even trust each other. They keep accusing each other of being a spy or even of being Odium. It's like none of them really know who they're looking for! He had tried everything to make them let him go, he had tried bribes, threats he even said he would give them a 15% discount on anything he had to sell! Anything! However none of it worked. If they can't even trust each other there is no way they will just let me go alive. I suppose if you can't beat them you join them. It's time for me to come up with a plan. It was then that Clink remembered he was terrible at making plans. I suppose I'll just wing it then. "Hey! I think I can help you find Odium!" Unless they pretended not to want a lynch and always planned on using their PM vote. or maybe they didn't even voice an opinion about lynching knowing it could make people suspicious? 2. I'm more likely to think that Cultivation contacted you through his/her PM ability then you being Endowment because he believes s/he could trust you. EDIT grammar
  3. Cultivation is the only one who can open up PMs. Maybe he got suspicious because of something that came up in one of them. EDIT: If Dominion was involved there would be a name with the vote right?
  4. EDIT what was in this post was said by mailliw73 in above message. Posted mine before his showed up on my screen.
  5. I'm wondering what your reasoning is for protecting Aonar. Do you think he's at risk because of his plan? He has already told everyone about it so it can't be taken back now by killing him.
  6. I wasn't saying let anyone move I was suggesting a decision among the 11 people on Scadrial to decide who would go. If any of OC's were being too obvious about wanting to move it would just give them away. I do see how it does slightly negate some of the randomness that could provide a safe world. However it seemed to me like some people were a bit uneasy about the plan because of the unbalanced numbers. EDIT Also it's early enough in the game that I'm still treating everyone with suspicion even if they were out there randomly. EDIT 2: I suppose the reason this won't work is that any of OC's will wait to say they will leave till after someone else has and any non-OC will be hesitant to step forward cause they would be suspicious. You're right cognition this wouldn't work and would just defeat the purpose of the freeze.
  7. What if the only move we do is one player to each other world from Scadrial. The people on Scadrial can collectively decide who goes where. After that we could freeze the movements and proceed with that plan. EDIT grammar
  8. I'm not sure if you know right away but after the game the GM releases all the stuff from the, Eliminator doc as well as all orders/targets. so you will know at the end of the game at least.
  9. Also about the idea of freezing worlds I agree mostly. However your same point about an inexperienced OC with an experienced worldhopper could also be reversed. On my world there is only one experienced player. If they are an OC they could manipulate the rest of us in the same way.
  10. For the witness role do you learn the identity of someone with the ability to kill that round or someone that actually did a kill action and succeeded?
  11. I would agree with you if i thought the plan was foolproof. However I feel like there are enough uncertainties that it isn't. I am still on the fence about this plan but if it did go through I feel like it would probably be chaos like Sanderson Elimination has never seen before. It could be amazing and succeed, it could lead to everyone dying horrible deaths but I guarantee it will be one heck of a journey regardless of the destination.
  12. If all the Eliminators come out as shards then we just need an awakener to prove that one of the shards is lying. Once the lie has been shown everyone on the false Endowments would be either Champions of Odium or actual Shards that are on both lists. That strategy by the eliminators could easily expose them all. But also we would have to ensure that the Awakener is who they say they are and not lying. I'm just getting so confused now! Am I missing something?
  13. I just thought of a reason one of my arguments from earlier is invalid. If Odium claims to be an inactive shard it would only take two cycles for those shards to be given to different worldhoppers (if Odium tries to use his personal kill we could know sooner, to prevent an Odium killl on Ruin he would assuredly have to remain protected. We could also use a Bloodsealer to put skeletals on the last two shards to come forward since this is most likely who odium would be.) Once the shards have been repositioned Odium would quickly become known with those two only needing to prove they are the missing shards. Then the plan could go forwards as planned right? One other problem is that if Ruin is one of the inactives then this plan will cause lots of people (and shards) to die before ruin is repositioned. It absolutely needs to be known that Ruin is active before this plan goes through. I don't know if any of what I'm saying is even right. Please correct me if I'm completely off base.
  14. Do sit seem like I'm too opposed to Aonars idea? I'm not trying to say it's bad I just want to promote discussion before we put all our eggs in one basket. EDIT for spelling
  15. If we don't use ruins kills then all kills will still be by vote. Voting will not be changed by this as all of Odiums champions would still get to vote. Maybe I'm missing this but I don't see how this would help us to catch OCs with a greater probability via the lynch vote. We would also ensure that Odiums invested never accidentally hits a shard wasting the kill. EDIT accidently said ruin when i meant odium
  16. Also yes OC's can be bloodsealers or any other minor role because an OC isn't a role the same as Worldhopper isn't a role.
  17. Possible problems with Aonars plan: -Odium could claim to be a different shard (maybe one that happens to be inactive which would really screw this plan up) which would require at least one more cycle to prove which ones the true Odium. -if we are protecting Odium it will leave ruin and preservation open to attack from odiums invested champion since everyone knows who they are. -They can then put skeletals on Ruin Thats the main ones i can think of right now. I like the boldness of the plan but i think it needs some refinement Edit because i realized one of my statements was incorrect.
  18. I never said my reasoning was good for putting my vote on you I just thought I would start with it. Since you gave good reasoning I will remove the vote. One of the main reasons I even voted was because this is my first game and I was just exited to do my first vote. EDIT for stupid blue
  19. After waiting out the Highstorm (he learned the name from the family who had taken him in) and convincing those had sheltered him that he was sane, at least partially, he decided to head to the Stargate (the name, which of course he didn't steal, he had made up for the places he world hops from) to see if he could find any signs of pursuit. As he walked he thought of the things he had learned about this planet so far. So they use the strange glowing gems as money and if they don't glow they may be counterfeit. Very useful thing to know. If the point of the women wearing the glove was to keep it safe then why only one glove and what are they trying to keep it safe from? Clink was so lost in thought about all the curiosities of this world that he walked straight into the pool where he had first appeared on the planet. He immediately looked up and saw a group of people staring at him from the other side of the pool. I should really pay more attention he thought. "Hello friends, I don't suppose you just magically appeared in that pool with the purpose of murdering me because that would be quite rude"
  20. Just got a player list ready. first game so I'm not really sure how to start but I'm suspicious of people who seem to be taking a leading role so early. I also think that telling ruin to kill lurkers/inactives could be the work of an eliminator if they all plan to be active. I know it's a stretch but i'm putting in my first vote (very tentative) on Cognition. EDIT for blue EDit again for vote removal
