We see them only twice in the trilogy, correct? And both times they're going up against not the regular run-of-the-mill Allomancers, but some of the most skilled, kick-butt, all-around-epic Mistborn OF ALL TIME.

I see your point. However, it is a mild frustration of mine at the fantasy genre when they specially talk up a group of people/creatures to make them seem more dangerous, but when they appear, they quickly become incapable of doing the tasks which they have been supposedly 'perfected' to do. E.g. Stormtroopers, Trollocs, etc.
