So, the reason I haven't been on much in the last few days. YOU MENTIONED LICD. WHY IN THE WORLD DID I READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE ARCHIVE???? Though it did get better as I went along. It's not usually my brand of humor (sheltered) the characters got more complex and I always love a webcomic that's long enough to have a plethora of inside jokes.

Haha. I did the same thing, though this comic is pretty much right up my alley. I'm currently going through the whole archive of Giants in the Playground. It's pretty funny so far, though I've never played any of the types of games it is constantly referencing.

College.

I would like to announce that I will most likely graduate in May 2013. Only one year behind as oposed to the 3 extra years I was expecting.

Hm, I have a bit of the Soundtrack thing. The radio always seems to know what I need. If I am having a delima I turn on the radio to receive a "sign" from the first song that comes on. But let's see...

Excessive Patience

It is extremely rare that I grow impatient. I used to put myself in very annoying situations intentionally so that I could gain this power. Now I almost never get impatient.

Heightened Agreeability

I find it very hard to say "no". This may seem like a weakness, but if it's used correctly you can get on everyone's good side. Example: Me. Maybe not literally everyone, but I can't honestly think of anyone I don't get along with. It also helps in work situations as I am nearly always able to help when asked. This looks good and goes far with most employers.

I started it with the intention to read it as a side book while catching up on Wheel of Time. That didn't work out.

Very nice! I almost bought a violin instead of an oud, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to learn the oud. The hammer dulcimer seems like it would be super sweet to know how to play. You should do it.

So, I just recently picked up a new instrument and it made me think, what instruments do you all play? And if none, what would you like to play? And if you wouldn't like to play anything, well I don't know why you clicked this thread.

I just picked up an Oud. For those that don't know what an Oud is, here: Oud. For those that don't want to click the link, it's essentially a Middle-Eastern lute. So, I haven't really learned anything on it yet as most of the online tutorials I find are in Arabic, which I don't understand at all. I am currently trying to learn to read music so I can learn in that way. Most likely, after I get a basic knowledge of the instrument, I will just play songs I make up.

So yeah, I want to know what you guys play/want to play/like to see others play/anything.

I've been reading LICD. I'm around the 2007s. I really like this comic. It's different than the others for sure and nothing like LFG, but the humor is great.

Ya'll have excellent taste I read "Pillars of the Earth" a few years ago, and it's really quite incredible. It almost defies criticism, it's just such a massively ambitious work. It's not my favorite book by any means, but very memorable.

At the moment, I'm actually reading "Knife of Dreams". This is in fact my first read-through of The Wheel of Time. I am taking my time in the extreme, since I know once I finish "Towers of Midnight" the waiting will be exquisitely painful.

Is that the same Pillars of the Earth that the TV series is based on? I've never seen/read either but I've been interested.

Wheel of Time is wonderful and I would definitely encourage you to continue taking my time. I got caught up a few months ago and it's killing me. Possibly very literally killing me...

So I just recently got really into a new webcomic, read through every page in the first day, and now have to wait for updates. So, let's all share our favorite webcomics! And then have friends to talk with about them!

The one I just got up to date on is Looking for Group. It's insanely funny, especially for gamers. The other one I read is Schlock Mercenary. I mean, who doesn't like a webcomic-space-opera?
