Nightblood works the same way as a Returned in some ways, since they both consume Breath and most likely can't get it back. Since Nightblood is sentient it likely has control over its own Breath, and it can't speak a Command to give that Breath up (maybe it could do it mentally though). I doubt it would, though, since it's very much dominated by the Command to destroy evil that it was given.

I've been wondering about this lately. We know it's not possible to Soulcast gemstones, but magic systems from different worlds can often exploit loopholes (like Zahel using Stormlight instead of Breath). Is it possible to make metals for use in the Metallic Arts using Soulcasting? One thing to consider would be if metals on the other Shardworlds have the same link to Preservation that they do on Scadrial. We see Hoid using Allomancy in WoR, but he could have got the metal from Scadrial.

Sounds like that would go great with Feruchemical chromium. I'm not sure how much information you can get from the future-shadows, but you could win big and conserve your luck by working out how much you need to tap for each bet.

Hrathen is a brilliant character. His plot is also much more interesting than Sarene's, and he gives us some valuable glimpses into the wider world. He seems to almost be a proto-Sazed (my favourite character from Mistborn) with his focus on faith and questioning of his own beliefs.

I think it's entirely possible, since Vin's sister was a Seeker and unless she Snapped at birth like Vin did, she hadn't Snapped yet. (Unless the process of spiking is enough to get someone to snap, of course)

After reading The Alloy of Law yesterday I'm going to have to go with Slider. Bendalloy may be expensive but it's definitely worth it, even if it isn't directly effective in combat.

We know from WoB that Sel is apparently very difficult to Worldhop from, and that it apparently involves the Shardpool in Elantris. I think that the reason that it's difficult to go there is because the pool dissolves your body. On the other side you'd have to have a strong enough will to re-form a new physical body before you could go around Shadesmar to visit other worlds.

I believe Wayne's father was a Feruchemist, so presumably he tested him by giving him a sliver of each metal to see if he had a Feruchemical affinity for any of them.

I get what you mean, but Breeze never had any problems giving those close to him a little nudge in the right direction. Not everyone thinks like him, though.

I'd go for Allomantic brass and Feruchemical duralumin, just to be the ultimate manipulator. As well as Soothing people I'd be able to easily form connections with them and boost the effect. Either that or Feruchemical aluminium, which might well be able to boost emotional Allomancy in the same way that Feruchemical iron boosts Steelpushes/Ironpulls. Edit: According to this table of Twinborn names, the first combination would be called a Pacifier and the second an Icon. (The blue names are from the MAG Alloy of Law supplement, and the pink ones are made up by the person who posted it)

I think crem is a brilliant idea. The frequent highstorms on Roshar would obviously erode the stone incredibly quickly, but crem eventually hardens into stone and resists the effects of erosion.
