So Adonalsium probably created all of the planets. I wonder if the shard holders had similar powers to Hoid before taking their shard and combined to help shatter Adonalsium. Or they may have been opportunists who took advantage at the time to take their shard. It sounds to me so far that they thought they could do a better job so helped shatter Adonalsium, took up a shard then fled to whatever planet they wanted to play with.

How did the shards get to the planets they are on and why? Were any planets created by a shard?

At the end of WoR I came on here because I recognised a sword. I found when Sazed became Harmony that I had alot of questions but didnt go online to find out anything. I only just read Elantris and I noticed Hoid, but he didnt do anything so Im not sure why he was there. Wit is much better, SA are my favourite books so far.

Maybe you're right. If Roaden put a modifier on aon tia that was correct for travel to Roshar, would he not travel there? Thats a long way from Elantris so he couldn't get back. World hopping has to do with shadesmar. Can you get to shadesmar through the dor? Can you get to shadesmar through a shardpool? Did BS not say worldhopping to Sel through shadesmar is difficult.

I think inherent has it. They wanted to keep the alethi away from their home but also stop them from getting the gem hearts aswell. Bore them into going home. Eshonai was wrong in this assumption that they would leave the shattered plains

9 out of the 10 Heralds not returning to Damnation must have reduced Odiums power, or held him back. That's why they left and took the gamble that Taln could hold him to the Oathpact. Didnt work so now Odium is free to desolate Roshar
