Just finished Bands.... WOW... can't wait for the last installment!

Can't wait for Doors of Stone!! I agree. I wouldn't like it as a movie either. I think it could work as a TV show, but honestly.. Fantasy novels often lose a lot of what makes them so great when adapted to film. Just like how Kingkiller has strength in the way it is written and told. Sure you can see all of the characters come to life in cinema, but sometimes it just warps the way one views the world and characters, and doesn't do the story justice. I don't think I would welcome a film adaptation, unless Rothfuss were to be given an insane budget and freedom to change anything, only if he himself really wanted it to be made.

I've read the 4 Mistborn novels out to date. I've read the two Stormlight as well, which were my favourites so far. What is YA? I think I'll go for Steelheart next, I'm currently reading Memories of Ice from The Malazan Book of the Fallen (Book 3), by Steven Erikson, but will probably order Steelheart online, because Chapters seems more and more overpriced these days. My order for a Szeth shirt and Bridge Four badge just shipped! But I'm regretting not getting a signed book with it. Thanks for the welcome guys, it's good to be here!

I have been a long time 17th shard reader now, as well as from the coppermind. I really enjoy doing research and finding out what people speculate might be, or explaining their views of what is. I never took the step to sign up and post something of my own, contribute, and get more into this marvelous fandom. Sanderson has been my favourite author since I read WoK when it came out! I proceeded to read Mistborn, Elantris, Warbreaker, Words of Radiance and now TES.. I haven't read any of the others yet, what do you guys suggest? Is there anything that you feel I really MUST know that might not occur to a first time 17thShard poster?? How can Sanderson juggle so many projects at once and have such amazing novels!? I lent my mum The Emperors Soul for mothers day, she seems to be enjoying it, while she doesn't usually read Fantasy.
