Timeport didn't make the "And Then They Died" list yet, did he? The only logistical issue I see is that it'll be some time before Remington gets back from Attica. So either the girl will need to spend the night dashing from hiding place to hiding place (plausible) or make it all the way to the cemetery in time to catch them on their way out (not really plausible). Thought so.

Yeah. Me too. That is a surprisingly awesome bright side. Hmmm. If Remington is going to be passing through that area, any objections to having him pick her up? Not sure where he'd take her, unless she has relatives in the city, but he could definitely plant the Action Girl idea in her mind. Also, mail-mi, Timeport can't take anyone along unless Upgrade is there, correct?

Lock Lucentia in the basement with something she hates (so she'll be too busy complaining about it to think of escaping) and send Nighthound to fight both giant robots.

I'd suggest forcing the Jagers to fight one of those giant robots, but since their chances of winning or at least holding the own are fairly good, I think locking then in the basement is a good solution.

You really thought you needed to make that a goal? Seriously? You'll probably pass the 10,000 mark by Valentine's Day. (Though I do agree with the "write more" goal. ) My goals: To make at least 50 percent progress on the rough draft of my WIP (as I do not outline and am usually not sure what all will happen from page to page, figuring out when I have reached the halfway point will be difficult), To find a good job in a state that is not this one, To avoid looking at upvotes on my RP posts as much as possible, To do well enough in my library internship to impress my superiors, and learn as much as I can about the day-to-day running of a public library in order to Assist the Free Kingdoms in their quest for freedom of information, as well as to Figure out the whole living-on-my-own thing. I'm….not sure how much of an issue the last one will be, honestly. I've never done it before (living at home was a more pragmatic decision during college and grad school) so I'm planning ahead and hoping for the best.

mail-mi, I had a thought. Seth is a Hebrew name meaning "appointed." Timeport sees himself as having been appointed by Calamity for something pretty terrible (that he seems to enjoy the thought of). Was his name chosen because of its meaning, setting him up as a sort of Dark Messiah character from the beginning? And I added to that theory. You might want to check the spoiler tag for the translation.
