Do not resist. Let the WHOOC-ness flow through you.

Shiniest nun ever! I'm not sure. Maybe one who doesn't kidnap her dates?
-
Now I'm envisioning redeemed!Deathwish building a fountain of Coke and dropping other Epics into it in an attempt to save them. And then crying when they try to kill him.
-
My biggest question is whether Lightwards will die a few more times as he shoots Deathwish, or Deathwish will wind up pinning the Master of Burgers down and pouring the Coke down his throat. Thank you muchly.

I liked Matt Smith's exit, but the season leading up to it was pretty underwhelming. Moffatt needs to get rid of Clara already. I mean, seriously, she has no personality besides "spunky and outspoken," whereas every previous companion had personality to spare. I've always wanted to see the Ninth Doctor traveling with Donna as a companion. Literally nothing would get done because they'd be too busy sassing each other, but the dialogue would be brilliant.

Figures. Just when they're needed most, I can't come up with a thing. Here is Seonid's summary of the Portland thread. Since that was written, Thougttown and the Empire solidified their fragile alliance, and the Minor Epic Empire, a coalition of Epics with mostly useless powers, has launched attacks on CorpseMaker, Thoughttown, and the Empire to prove they're stronger than they seem. It, um, hasn't worked out well for them so far. Can anyone help me find Kobold's summary of The Dalles?

Either way, it's not exactly fast-paced.

Well....we've been going at it a while, but in the current game's timeline, we're only up to Day 4. So nope, you're right on time.
-
We currently have it set about two years before Steelheart's death.

This, oddly enough, is the answer to almost all of your questions. Why so many ponies? Because we're insane. Why does one of the Question threads open with a very patriotic-looking 0? Because we're insane.

Not only that, but Brandon Sanderson confirmed in this year's AMA that paradox fears wouldn't work unless the fear itself was more specific. The example he used was water: An Epic with water as a weakness wouldn't have water powers, since the powers would continually be canceled out by the weakness. The only way that would work would be if the weakness itself was something like water with dye in it, leaving un-colored water alone. So in other words, if David's true fear were Epics, becoming an Epic would most likely set off his weakness.

When he won, he'd hand over the award to Deathwish, who didn't earn it but was just so scary he couldn't refuse. No word on whether or not Deathwish would actually display the award.

Your dad likes blackberry jam on his funnel cakes. I'll remember that in case it winds up being important.
-
I've been trying all day to remember this dream, and I just did. I dreamed I met Kobold's family last night. They were all really nice, and his dad really was the Loch Ness Monster. But he'd taken on human form, so he just looked normal. I think we ate funnel cakes.

Things get ugly when they get to "Shoot!"

Explains why he wanted Fortuity dead. Not because he was a remorseless serial killer, but because as a gambler, the chances of him randomly throwing dice at Prof were just too high. Edit: I do think games of chance have something to do with it, though. Maybe they're not THE fear, but they're a part of it. I just couldn't resist a joke.

It all started with the very first Question thread. It started out as a generic planning thread, but then Kobold ponified one of his Epics, and that was around the time when we'd started to post endless jokes and commentaries on that thread...long story short, the thread soon surpassed 150 pages and was still going strong. Shortly before we reached 200 pages, one of the mods (I think it was Rubix) let on that such a massive thread was a nightmare to moderate. I asked if it'd be easier on the mods if we just started a new thread every time we reached 100 pages, Rubix said that'd be awesome, so that's what we do. TL;DR: We make so many jokes that it was giving the mods a headache. It was either stop the jokes or find a way to help the mods out, and we will never stop the jokes. Never.

I hate everyone involved with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them right now. I wasn't super excited for the movie until Rowling said that Scamander would meet witches and wizards educated at an American school where "indigenous magic was important to the founding." Awesome! Fascinating! I was on the fence about the movie until you said that, and now I want to watch it right now! Aaaannnnnd it's not coming out until 2016.

Those that have set the bad pretty low for decency. After he either didn't notice or ignored my last FUNTIMES question, I've decided I'm fated to have bad luck with this AMA. Good question, though.

To be fair, it's not difficult to advance when the game's standards are relatively low. ...which makes Backtrack's loss all the more pathetic.
-
Congratulations, Backtrack. You win this round of "Don't Be a Slontze." Backtrack: Yay! I won something! :-D
-
That Backtrack would rather show cute girls images of prehistoric Oregon than demand "kissy-kissy time" for saving their lives?
-
I predict that all members of that club would leave and go to the Surround Shiny Sparkle with Cute Girls Club, leaving Deathwish to change the name of his club to the Make Deathwish Look Slightly Less Pathetic than Backtrack Club.

Different people are inspired by different characters. I think she could carry an anime.
