  1. Yeah, I never got into Recluse. I love Imager and Corean chronicles though.
  2. Luckily Nightblood has enough investure in it that you shouldn't have to worry about it.
  3. It's been let slip that you can infuse spikes with mists though, so while Allomancers will be getting weaker, machines should be fine.
  4. Well, the funny thing is that you were never insane. I bet the spike makes you Nightbleed when you rollover though.
  5. Was it "Messy"
  6. Please join the cosmere puns thread! We're a bunch of masochists, and we realy love the pain. Welcome to the Shard, er, sliver.
  7. I knowing the need wanting of the speaking people of. Wondering accents whether wasing the right?
  8. Are there any fans of Modesitt on here? I've read the first Imager Trilogy, the first trilogy of the Corean chronicles, and the first book in the Order mage series. In his science fiction I have only read Haze, but I really loved that. Thoughts.
  9. Wasing the trueness of the Speaking. Legalease Slanging the now of Elendel.
  10. The feruchemists were much more strategic than the allomancers because they didn't want to get banned. They always wore their bracers under their quiditch robes and were careful to "throw" a couple of plays so that it didn't look to bad. They always used Chromium ferrings as their goal keepers so that they could make miraculous saves. They used steel ferrings for the chasers so that they could make amazing plays, tin ferrings for seekers so they could see the snitch, and pewter compounders for beaters. Nobody ever got in the way of the beaters. The first year the Feruchemists took over quiditch Hogwarts saw the first fatality from a bludger. It wasn't pretty, Neville fainted, Collin Creavies cousin took a photograph, and proffeser Flitwick was so short that he puked because he was so close that he could see all the mess. Edit :Arg.. I swear I came up with my ideas before seeing Shaggai's post. He ninja'd me.
  11. There's a WoB that goes something along these lines. Q. " Was the thing that Hoid put into his goblet something important?" A. "Yep." Q. "Something from Scadrial Perhaps?" A. *Pleased smile* " Definitely could be." Sorry about the paraphrasing but I don't know how to search out WoB's. Now I guess it could mean that it was just emotional metal, but that doesn't feel rite to me.
  12. The visions are Honor talking, but Stormfather is the messanger.
  13. Except that Hoid used the bead in one of Shallan's flash backs.
  14. Wow their jumping on you quick mate. Nice to meet ya, and welcome to the number 17 shard. Good question. No answer known. I like the idea.
  15. Sell. Wayne is to focused on Renette, and we know that isn't going to work. Toilet paper as an industry actually only started in the middle of the eighteenth century if I remember correctly, and it was a very hush hush thing. There were similar things in China closer to the 14th century, but not really like we know it today. AoL is just about that same time period, so that's why I figure it'll crop up. And Brandon loves being realistic. Sorry I got really rambling there........ The wedding won't actually happen in Shadows of Self. Wax will get kidnapped or something instead.
  16. Sell. We will see the beginning of the toilet paper industry on Scadrial during Shadows of Self.
  17. Buy. Adolins going to be jealous and put out about being the one Kholin without a Spren.
  18. Sell. Too little information for this to be plausible.( because you know, all of this is very plausible.) Wayne will try and teach a street urchin about accents in Shadows of Self.
  19. That's.... sad. It also means that there will be fewer feruchemists eventually.... I think you just ruined my day Swimmingly. Shame On You, I shall call the church of the stick down on your head!
  20. Buy. Because, Why Not!? Vahel/Vasher will do some awakening behind the scenes in the next book. It won't be blatant, but it will be there.
  21. I don't think Ferochemy would ever get that common place. I think that it would be more likely that they would use Ferochemy to fuel the electricity plants, which would lead to being Green. Same destination, different journey. Oh and I upvoted them again so they got the credit they deserved.
  22. I'm pretty sure Dalinar was just seeing Stormfather, who is a sliver of Honor.
  23. Go watch the anime Trigun. It's not that long and you won't regret it.
  24. Well she is a Herald, so she obviously is going to be important. As a main character.... I'm not sure. So sel? We'll find out about Tarah in SU
  25. Sorry to Necro this thread but I just realized that Tarah is a very symmetrical name. In WoR Shallan says that 'h' all by itself can be used to make symmetry without being blasphemous. I think that this points toward Tarah being at least a light eyes, if not a pretty important one.
