Grr I restarted. Hopefully it goes quickly but it will certainly be more than 2 hours like I originally thought. Catching up, and am finally back to afternoon of day 1. Still a bit more to go and I got to redo quite a bit of quartz. Turned into an all day affair even with turbo and minus a good bit of dialogue round.

Grr I missed 2 xtra AP. To get it I have to lose 8 hrs of play and redo all these bits. I can probably do it in 2 hrs but I’d also have a lot of trade in on quartz and I’m not sure I feel like it. Nightmare of Ch3 day 1 all over again.

Phew doing day 1 afternoon dialogue round the past hour and a half with side quests. So much reading! had to cut post short due to a dog in yard. I remember when it was daunting doing these things and considering skipping back in CS1.

Popping in I’ve not once seen an enemy attack another enemy under confusion status in this game. Ditto for charm last night. If my peeps are under confusion though they sure do attack themselves.

Popping in My kids and nephew and niece are finally gone! It has been a long 2 weeks! ANYWAY! I finally have CS3 booted up on my 2nd 75in screen and boy oh boy am I happy! This tv actually has the 2.1 ports I asked for the 1st time and I also have it upscaled to 8K. This 2nd tv was well worth the extra $600 over the other one. Near oled quality imo. Nanocell is quite good. A bit of haloing around lighter stuff when on dark background but the blacks are pretty dope. Ghost of Tsushima and No Man’s Sky are insane on this thing! Oh man I can’t wait to get some true PS5/Xbox X games on this thing. Next upgrade in a year or so will definitely be an 85 oled when tech is just that tad much cheaper. Looking forward to finishing CS3 off on this beast and so happy I’m off that 32 incher I’ve been stuck on the last 10 months since hurricanes! ed: haha I just loaded up old saves from ch 2 and let’s just say I now notice certain physics going on with this bigger screen..

So I loaded Fable 3 which someone gave me free after I got new console. Just wanted something to play around with on it. Control is janky as hell imo.

Bought an Xbox X today. It probably won’t get much love till I finish up Cold Steel games but atleast I got one.

Popping in real quick. CS3 ch 4 day 1 stuff My play time has been about 15 minutes a day for the past week if I’m lucky. Both kids as well as nephew and niece are here from Houston. Ugh. Another week to go.. On the tv front the guy at Best Buy told me the wrong info. This Sony has no HDMI 2.1 so it’s getting returned just as soon as my other tv gets delivered I bought today. Stumbled across an LG nanocell 8K 75in with 4 2.1 ports normally $3600 that I got in a Father’s Day sale for $1700. I will wind up dropping about $300 more but it’s a far superior tv so hell with it. That whole situation pisses me off as they didn’t sell me what I asked for.

Quick pop in E3 is disrupting my sessions so thankfully it ends today. Im still at home base of Ch 4. Yikes.

That Microsoft conference was really good. Best of E3 so far.

Buying TVs soon! Will be great getting this series back on atleast a 65in but likely 70-85in screen vs this little 32 I’ve been stuck with for a third of CS2 and all of CS3.

In a bit of Gaunt’s Ghost burn out despite loving it so I’ve put it as my minor daily read and picked up Dreamblood Omni as my main as of last night and I really needed it I realize. I’ve made some descent progress in just one day vs only being able to read 3 or 4 pgs a day the last few weeks on Gaunt.

Now that I think about it it may have happened twice that chapter. I had some other thing pop up when I first switched to the PS5 but assumed it was just a bug out. I assume its new game+? Is it spoilery going forward?
