    Saw Rogue One yesterday. My son decided not to come because he didn't want to sit through all the noise of speakers. I ll talk him into it though. I need to rewatch it to confirm that it has knocked out ROTJ as my fav SW movie which I didn't think would ever be possible.

    As for C3PO-R2 to me it made sense...ONLY after we get to end of movie. I had ZERO clue that Leia would even be in this movie so to have the droids say the equ of Come on R2 we're going would have given it away that we were getting that treat imo. Ed of course you can then ask why even have them in this. Answer is simple: they have been the characters to be in every single film. Odds are this will continue while movies are in this timeline. Prepare for many more cameos. You have to give it to them how great a lid they kept on this movie. I had heard that only a holo of Tarkin may show up, people were crying out wondering why Jimmy Smitts(Bail Organa) wasn't showing up on set as it would make sense. The ANH cantina fodder, pilots showing up, etc. in this info age this stuff should have leaked and I saw not one thing except Tarkin holo speculation. Kudos to all those treats! i saw the Ghost/heard General Sundalla bit but didn't see Chopper on Yavin 4.

    I see a lot of gripping going on about Leia being at battle. To me it makes perfect sense esp after all these yrs of watching ANH. A lot of people are prob forgetting that at this time the Emp and Vader still are checked powerwise...the senate still holds major power till halfway through ep4 when it's desolved. Tarkin even says how hard it was to get order to term her life is to get and another admiral and Leia say the senate won't sit still with this etc...so even though she was at battle and he saw her she has diplomatic immunity/protection and can say whatever to Vader. It also makes sense on just one more reason to blow up Alderaan..they can identify the ship and just get revenge.

    Temp only got to 30. Oh well it was still the nippiest weather of Dec. I loved it outside last night. Had to be up early to drive to TX and was shocked...no frost anywhere. Maybe the wind is why?

    Ok I've been eyeballing the forecast of Sunday for 2 days now. Low of 28 hasn't changed. Let's see if it holds up!

    I don't go to Target. It's way to far in town close to casinos and way to full of traffic to deal with. freezing drizzle sounds ace. It's gray and 65 here. Ah sorry it went up to 68..

    Well if it has to be 1 of those 3 I'd say WoT just cause it's now complete. You ll be waiting along time for the end of those others and Gentleman Bastards bk 3 is just hella bad anyway compared to the greatness of 1 and lesser 2. if it can be more then those look into Malazan if you want a huge complex epic to try, if you want popcorn look at Safehold.

    My dream will be fulfilled at some point this weekend or early weekday. I get to take an offspring to go see a STAR WARS movie at show. He only just discovered this epic after I bought ep 7 & we watched em all over 2 weeks. He's 9 & loved them

    I thought Korra was great while able to watch before channel was dropped. It's the Alloy of Avatar and benders aren't the all powerful beings they once were thanksvto tech. We get bending we ve yet to see in it much like the new medals. Korra was fun to watch. I need to finish it one day for sure

    I've used/said y'all my entire life. 1st time I heard you all instead of it was in Kentucky for a corvette club meeting/vacation when I was 18 and about came unglued loln so hard at the pretty waitress who said it. She got in the spirit of things and started teasing us with a overly done Southern Y'all. She got a big tip

    Ahhh Rust!! The forecast has changed from the high 20's to low 30's for the Artic blast. I mean it is still going to be COLD but it won't be COLLDDDD.

    I don't think it really got going till bk 4 then it was just straight fun imo. I bought 1-4 after watching 1-3 and finished 4 as the trailers for 4 started to come out.

    This will prob sound strange from a male. My ex wife and me were just having a convo about our 13 yr old. I asked if it happened yet(as I'm kinda dreading it) and I just haven't been told. It hasn't and I find it surprising as I've been expecting it as far back as last yr. I'm sure my son will be asking me ?'s in about a yr1/2 from now.

    Very good. Yea that movie was great is def a must watch 1st! I'm now at about only 30 pgs read in total since last tues. Everything is being put on hold to play. My Dvr is getting backed up lol. My reading will increase tomorrow as I think Iron Banner is on Destiny so I ll be reading inbetween matches atleast

    Oh yeah it def wanders from what I remember, it was 10 yrs ago since I beat it new. Still it was miles better then the mess that is FF13. The opening of 12 is spectular with that war.
