Fair enough. I just have a very deep rooted hatred for him and I see him double crossing us again before the end. That is if he isn't just killed off like everyone else. Lol

Where does one draw the line, before they cross the moral threshold? If you protect a man, knowing that if you do - 1,000 or even 10,000 will die tomorrow. What will his oaths demand of him? I feel like that could be a very tough way of living, always trying to decide which is right and which is wrong. Sometimes not even necessarily which is wrong... more like which is more right? I guess it's all relevant to ones perspective. I'm just excited to see how Brandon continues to grow Kaladin's character with this new oath. I swear to god though. I better see a Kaladin vs. Amaram or I will nerd rage.

Didn't she use pattern as a shard blade to turn on the portal infront of a bunch of people though? Or was that a regular shard? I don't have my book with me It's like I forgot an organ at home...

Very well said. I agree with you it is the radical villains which usually get taken out first. I still think that Adolin going dark side would be awesome. Just think of how much better the starwars series would have been if you actually watched it from 1-6, not knowing Ani was going darkside from the beginning. As for Adolin though, I do realize that the chances of that happening is slim to none but I can dream

Hmm.. I can't wait to see how having women in shard plate and wielding shard blades is going to effect things. Will Zahel agree to train Shallan in the blade because she's a KR? Or will he refuse because she's a woman.. soo many questions!

Soo, I have basically been living on these forums since I found out they existed. I love reading everyones input and just recently decided to make an account to share my thoughts. That being said, this is my first thread and I dont think this has been mentioned but if it has I apologize. Okay so there has been a lot of speculation and theories on what will happen or how the murder will effect Adolin and his character progression, but how will Sadeas' wife take the murder? With there being no heir does Sadeas' power pass to her and will it be temporary because of he gender? Considering she was his little spy master I'm sure she will have no trouble finding out Adolin murdered her husband and will likely retaliate. Just wondering if anyone else has had any thoughts on this or if I should just get back to work. haha.. Sorry for the Spoiler title.

I'm pretty sure there is a WoB on the subject of their safe landing. I don't have the exact quote but it was implied that they both had sufficient invested stormlight to survive the fall. Kaladin forced stormlight through an already weakened link with Syl which severed the bond.

I see Sanderson doing something great with Elhokar. A couple HUNDRED pages of growth and I'm sure he'll make as great of a Radiant as Kaladin's toe nails. He is Gavilar's son after all.

Adolin being portrayed as the "good guy" - makes it that much more sweet. When adolin has an epiphany about where his morals actually rest, he will make a great antagonist

That was one of the series I was thinking of when I made my previous post. All of them are just wrong.. I mean they aren't bad actors, they just don't fit the way I pictured them

I wouldn't read to much into the "dium" of Odium and Ryshadium. I'm pretty sure there is a WoB that says Odium wasn't even the original name of the shard, unless he changed ryshadium to correspond with the new name. I doubt there is a relation.

Considering there is a huge picture of Kaladin on WoR - which is Shallan's book. I don't think it matters who is on the front.

It would be interesting seeing Adolin go down a darker path than we are all expecting. I feel like the whole idea of "Hey everyone here is conveniently a surgebinder now" is kind of lame for the lack of better words. If Odium does end up championing someone I feel like Adolin would be a great choice!

It would be cool to get a chart with all the spren in order with a small picture of them! For the lack of better words, something similar to the pokemon 151 chart? haha. As for my favorite spren though, it would definately be alespren/sudspren/intoxicationspren

A mistborn on Roshar would make a great assassin lol. In a fight with a KR fully invested wearing shardplate though, I would just pray he couldn't fly lol
