I think Brandon saying he is a minor character is just a mislead. I need to read through the other books and simply look for all references to sticks.

I'm hoping Stick gets his own book in the series. Or maybe his own series.

So if you read the Interlude:Stick that Brandon posted on his website today, you learn that Stick now knows it is a stick (and likes to reiterate that fact). This may be a crazy theory, but hear me out. Stick exists in Shadesmar. I think stick will enter the physical realm and become a spren for someone. Whoever Stick becomes a spren to will be able to wield Stick as a weapon, but only as a stick. Stick vs. Shardblade.

i didn't love The Rithmatist. I enjoyed Steelheart. Both were not as great as Mistborn or The Stormlight books IMO. Im currently reading Steelheart to my 8 year old and he has thoroughly enjoyed it. I think its just intended for a different audience. I am curious if you have read the Alcatraz books?

Does anyone have access to cloning technology? Apparently there is way too much writing to get done for one Brandon Sanderson.

I've got nothing against Rothfuss. Loved his books as well. However, I would be extremely happy to have that 3rd book right now.

It is very nice to have the progress bar on brandonsanderson.com. My 8 year old is anxiously awaiting Firefight while i'll be continually checking on the progress of the 3rd Stormlight archive book. I think one of us will be driven mad (or more mad) with the wait.

Greetings all! I have been investigating and reading posts on this website since I read Way of Kings about a year back and thought "wait, who is this Hoid character and why does he seem so familiar?" Since then, it has been welcome to the Cosmere and trying to figure out the other hidden gems in Sanderson's works. It has been awhile since I have read the Mistborn series and Elantris. Planning on going back through those soon, now that i'm done with Words of Radiance. Anyways, I have officially signed up and hope to get to know some of you. Thanks!

I was just gonna say.... If you're not wanting to wait, don't read Patrick Rothfuss. I've been waiting for book 3 for forever. I don't know that I believe him that book 3 is written already.
