  1. I'm trying to get something written up now. I'm sort of assuming Backtrack glared but kept his mouth shut after that reference. He's sulking, essentially.
  2. I can do that. Once I have some idea of what Backtrack should do, besides start crying.
  3. Eh... I don't know. (A tiger cub Patronus sounds pretty epic, actually. ) That's right. I do need to introduce Glamour some how. What House would Max be in? (Congratulations. I remember when I became a Scadrian Waffle Cook... a glorious age for the Wafflesworn. )
  4. Good answer. Dare I ask what form Funtimes' Patronus takes? (It occurs to me that I haven't posted in any of the three RP threads for a few days... I should try to get something posted. Somewhere, someway.)
  5. (My first post was meant as an ironic, jovial comment--my apologies if it came out more hostile than intended. ) I feel good for you, while at the same time my heart burns with unspeakable envy. A most magnificent acquisition, to be sure.
  6. Aldo doesn't have a trace of magical ability... but he's just so darn charismatic that he scores high on every test regardless. Koschei the Deathless: inventor of the Horcrux, and considering his ties to dark magic and eastern Europe, probably instrumental in founding Durmstrang as well. ...Why is nobody writing this fanfiction already?
  7. Thomas Cardinal would probably have leaned towards Ravenclaw, though even then there was a solid stripe of Slytherin in him. Revolution would be in Hufflepuff without a doubt. Patient, kind, unafraid of hard work... yeah, definitely Hufflepuff. Albeit the most awesomely named Hufflepuff since Badgerbell the Viper-Tongued back in the 1400s. Aldo the Enigmatic, somewhat ironically, would be a Squib. I read about the original Koschei the Deathless from Slavic mythology; it turns out his immortality was due to him putting his soul into a needle and keeping it far away from his body. Koschei invented the Horcrux.
  8. Lightwards can take over as Slytherins head of house afterwards. I mean... he even surrounds himself with reptiles and wears bright green by choice. He's perfect for the job.
  9. Nighthound as a Death Eater wouldn't work, since he'd entirely overshadow Voldemort's villainy. Of course, now I find myself wondering what Funtimes and Lightwards would be like as Hogwarts professors.
  10. Makes sense. Was he a fairly new Epic in November? It's a shame Reader doesn't have more Snape-like tendencies, 'cuz I like to imagine Reader as Alan Rickman.
  11. Lightwards only recently came to Oregon; he's not very familiar with local history. Sam might have heard of him, but most of her Epic knowledge is restricted to the part of Portland she lived in. Revolution probably knows the name, considering she's familiar with even minor Epics like the Trimmer. Aldo and Cricket almost certainly know about him, as they tend to interview a lot of people for general information when they come to a new area. Does that mean Remington Springfield is the Redneck Who Lived?
  12. I am a joyous leprechaun.

Naturally he doesn´t need any, it´s not like he gets to decide what he wears himself.:P

Be careful with your mouths. You might not have them for much longer.

It´s okay. I´ll simply grow myself a new one, a bigger one to boot.

  13. These are all incredibly awesome. As an Order of the Stick fan, I'm particularly enamored of stick figure Kaladin. Really awesome work! Take my upvotes, don't spend them all in one place.
  14. Who could ever have too much of Oregon? Though this is an enormously large-scaled RP. Even without all the ponies and shipping jokes we've got more content than most of the inactive RP sub-fora. I guess you could say that "What Happened in Oregon" is an RP on an... Epic scale. Are you beseeching moderator assistance with the last Question thread, either to lock it or combine it with the first one?
  15. The oldest Question on the board... The Question that must never be answered... The Question we've been running from for the entire RP... What happened in Oregon?
  16. The phrase "And then Nighthound lived happily ever after" is considered the ideal ending to any story. This is alternate!Quota's theme song.
  17. Yes, which perplexes the simple and down-to-earth alternate Aldo to no end. Doctor Frowntimes is known for tracking down all sugary foods in Oregon and transforming them into healthy alternatives. (I think Lightwards would physically throw Jingleberry out of the Museum in a matter of minutes. Her skills would be more highly appreciated in Thoughttown, where she can keep a bouquet of mistletoe above Voidgaze and Big Al at all times of the day. )
  18. The Reckoners never stood a chance against their dread-duo. Alternate!Funtimes referred to this version of Nathan as "quite the unpleasant fellow, I must conclude." (Thanks. Jingleberry's kind of neat, in her own way. As useless as Backtrack, but with all the flirtatious charisma of the most powerful female Epics. I almost want to adopt her.)
  19. Guess who just ponified Jingleberry.
  20. You mock her now, but just wait till you find yourself standing in a hallway with Nighthound and she grows mistletoe over your heads.
  21. What Happened in Oregon: the RP that turns the most innocent of jokes into High Octane Nightmare Fuel. It is indeed the same universe. Also in this continuity: Doctor Funtimes is a particularly dour Deadpan Snarker. CorpseMaker is a former shopping mall Santa. Remington Springfield is a spineless coward who spends most of his time carrying Koschei's cape out of the mud. Backtrack is a powerful High Epic who single-handedly deposed Steelheart and took over his empire. Slaughterhouse is a kindly small town veterinarian.
  22. Wow. Really great job with that! I seriously want it as my desktop wallpaper now.
  23. You know, Intervention was first conceived as a joke Epic, but you're making every reference to him strangely ominous. I see the Question thread growing steadily larger each month, like the nests of eagles that grow with each generation. Once the Question has become a one-thousand page monstrosity of ponies and shipping, it will overload 17th Shard servers and WE WILL RULE THE ENTIRE TRI-FORUM AREA. Ahem. Yeah, that would have been kind of neat. In the parallel universe where he did decide to play his own theme music everywhere, I guarantee you that Aldo would have joined Thoughttown at the earliest opportunity.
