    While that is true, I think the discussion Eshonai has with her mother about the Last Legion seems to indicate that the Parshendi were able to escape whatever fate befell the parshmen and I'm in agreement with DiamondMind on that point.

    It could also be dialectic drift. Yaezir sounds alot like the first syllable of Jezrien if you pronounce the 'J' as 'Y'. Jezr -> Yezr -> Yaezir It works even better with his Vorin name of Jezerezeh. In fact, it might even illuminate something about Azish culture in that they don't use the palindromic version of the name. It would also be interesting to know why they call the Heralds kadasix.

That was so epic when I first read it. "Kid," Zahel said ... "Two people live in this room ... " That whole speech perfectly illustrated Zahel's character for me.

    I agree. Aside from the 10 surges, it seems like each KR gets increased strength/speed/agility and self-healing for free. Only those with the Surge of Progression (Growth and Regrowth) are able to heal other people, like Lift and Ym.
