Welcome to the Overlady Reads... Or more accurately, the Overlady has Read!

This episode is a little different to the usual. Since Oathbringer Part 5 took so much longer to record than our previous episodes, we were E X H A U S T E D when we got finished soooo we decided to record the Oathbringer reactions/RoW predictions separately. This was extra fun since I got to lay out my theories too!

So Dalinar is the leader of Knights Radiant despite committing an act of genocide but Venli needs to do something to deserve being a Radiant? Vyre can not have a redemption arc because he deposed an incompetent king whose rule had caused the suffering of countless others, but we have not even bothered with a redemption arc for Dalinar burning down an entire city full of civilian population. 

Those are certainly interesting positions ...

I think they are refering to "earning" the right to be a cool character on a meta level, rather then about qualifications for being a Radiant. Which in this case I don`t agree and I don't mind her stumbling into being a Radiant, since that's how most of the current Radiants got the job. And technically, Venli commited genocide against Listeners.

That's not what he did. And those are not the reasons they give for not wanting him to have a redemption arc.
