Windrunner Dawnsinger Posted October 21, 2014 I love this! Although, perhaps I am mistaken but I thought "h" could be used with any letter and there was some sort of diacritical mark added to it so that it was pronounced as "h"?
WeiryWriter Prime Posted October 24, 2014 I love this! Although, perhaps I am mistaken but I thought "h" could be used with any letter and there was some sort of diacritical mark added to it so that it was pronounced as "h"? I think the diacritical mark is for words like Nohadon, where the "h" would be written with a "d" and the mark for symmetry's sake. But when it is actually just an "h" they just use the letter.
Gravy Sprinkles Spren Posted February 9, 2017 Could you show a complex sentence written in this with the translation beneath? Thanks!

See this thread: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/6487-thaylen-and-alethi-glyph-translation/ There's some examples if you dig. I think there's a word processor font you can download about halfway through. Probably best to just look at the art in the book though.

Hazekiller16 Noble-Blooded Posted March 21, 2020 Im pretty sure the "R" and "L" should be switched, while translating what is in the books, they are constantly switched.
