I'm bored right now, and so I was looking through my old animations and found this one that I really like. I've been animating for a while now, and I'm almost done with a rockbud animation, so I decided to make this so I can upload that when I finish.

Did you use blender? if so, how did you make the ball squish? I think it looks great!

Ya, I used blender. Using amateurs (or sometimes called bones), you are able to parent the bones to the ball, and if you scale the bones as the ball moves up and down it deforms it, in this case squishing it. I'm using the same technique for my rockbud.

ok, I've used rigging before I just never realized that it could perform that effect.

Wow, that's pretty good! I've always thought animation was really cool. I'm looking forward to the rockbud!
