My summer project, finished just in time for the upcoming Alcatraz finale - a crystal sword based off of the new illustrated edition.
Modeled in balsa wood, molded in silicone, and finally cast in translucent polyresin. Not as cool as growing it from crystal, but much cheaper this way. The sword is about three feet long, and the blade is about a half-inch thick.
