How long until it counts as necromancy?

I know posting in inactive threads is frowned upon, but how long ago does the last post have to be for it to count as inactive? I don't have any specific examples, just curious.

I'm pretty sure it's less of a time thing and more of a new evidence thing. Like if there's been something new, some new WOB or something, that relates to the thread's contents, reviving discussion is alright.

Yeah - if you have big things to add and there isn't a newer thread that is already talking about those things, go for it. Just don't necro to say stuff like "nice" or "I agree" or "me too".
