Robin Sedai she/her Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 I really like my current profile picture (I got it from this comic) but I just viewed it on a computer for the first time and it looks super blurry. Is there a way to crop just that sparrow without it becoming blurry?
dannnex male Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 it doesn't look that blurry to me tbh how did you crop it?
Eluvianii he/him Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 I think it comes down to the quality of the original picture. It's not that it becomes blurry when you crop it, it's that it wasn't meant to be seen that up close. If you take the original and then zoom in, it'll likely look like the one on your profile. Your best bet is probably to look for a high definition version of the picture, zoom in on it to see if it maintains quality, then use that one. Though the Shard doesn't accept pictures over like half a megabyte so it's a bit tricky to find a balance. 2

Could be the computer's fault then. It doesn't look that blurry on my tablet, but I figured that's 'cos it's smaller. It's a really lousy computer, so it's hard for me to judge. I cropped it using Picsart, a photo editing app. On 19/11/2021 at 6:25 AM, Eluvianii said: I think it comes down to the quality of the original picture. If anyone has one, could they tell me? Edited November 22, 2021 by Robin Hatter
Atusiff he/him Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 If you want a higher definition version of it, you could see if one of those online AI quality enhancer things works with it.
