Hello fellow nerds! I'm a 6-year Sanderson follower. But only this past year did I REALLY dive into the murky depths of his enchanting worlds. And now I've been sucked down with no escape! Not that I mind. His work is brilliant and mind bending.

In the process of finding and purchasing his entire collection. And on the side, creating some Cosmere-related art! Here is a rock I painted a few weeks ago.

Hello there, and welcome to the chaos Shard!

I get that it's been recent that we can really get deep into the Cosmere. It was mostly during quarantine where I just read his books and started talking about it with my irl friends and the people I know on here. Btw, that rock is amazing, and I love it! This is coming from an artist, and I really am amazed on how well you did!

On the Cosmere note: Who would you say your favorite Cosmere character is?

That makes sense! I've found that there are significantly more friends irl that are Sanderson fans then I expected there to be.

Thank you so much for the compliment! It's simple, but I greatly enjoyed painting it. 

Asking who my favorite character is is like asking what my favorite type of pie is...there are SO MANY good ones! Shai from Emperors Soul and Isa from Infinity Blade immediately come to mind. Both powerful and confident. Wayne from Mistborn era 2. (I really love the comic relief characters!) And of course Kaladin! His story arc was incredible.

And what would you say is your favorite character?

Mmm, yes. All of those characters are amazing. Also, not surprised that Kaladin's on there; he's a fan-favorite, from what I gather.

For me, it's a debate between Lightsong, Shallan, Siri, or Vin. Lightsong because I can relate to his constant mood the most, Shallan because I like her for a good amount of reasons that will take too long to write, Siri because I love her and her sister's arcs and changes throughout Warbreaker, and Vin because... well, idk. I love her character arc.

 

Also, please refrain from double/triple posting. It's generally frowned upon in the Shard, so pls keep that in mind. I'm saying that now, before someone else says it.

You can respond to each comment, just without making another reply to it.

 

For example:

You're fine! A lot of people don't know it beforehand, so it's alright. My rl friend explained it to me as well as some other Sharders, so it's alright, man.
