+Invocation Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 It looks to be a lake at the bottom of there, so that's probably erosion marks of some kind. The one image I could find from the perspective of the a visitor shows sings that look like miniature fjords ending in places that are mostly below water, so millennia of erosion seems like a good enough explanation to me.

It contains numerous deep erosive cuts created by the seasonal melting of the permafrost. Numerous baydzharakhs, thermokarst mounds, dot the landscape; they are the result of the melting of polygonal ice wedges within the permafrost.
